So, I have been wanting to go to Seven for a while. I live across the street! There are always a lot of cars there, so today we pulled in the driveway! It is Ada friendly, the steps are steep! When you walk in it's a little dated. Rustic cabin atmosphere! But it is friendly, comfortable and all the servers are friendly and polite. We were quickly seated , given drinks and menus. Then it took awhile for server to return. Finally placed our order, only to have another very long wait for our food to arrive. My daughter ordered the Meat loaf Sandwich with fries. I ordered Joes skillet with biscuits and gravy. The food was great! Served hot, juicy and delicious. Neither of could eat it all! When we were done our waitress was no where to be seen. Another waiter walked by several times, but ours was on break or something. 27 mins later she reappeared and asked if we were ready for the check! Again the food was great! Service not so much. We had a great breakfast at Seven Cafe. First time here, got seated promptly and had time to peruse the menu before ordering. I ordered country ranch skillet, eggs over easy, over hash browns (choice between hash browns or country potatoes) and upgraded my side to pancakes +$0.49. We also got the chicken fried steak, eggs over easy, with country potatoes + grilled peppers and onions for extra ~$1.50. Also got a mimosa and on Sundays, there's a discount. Food is so bland, don't even look appetizing when it's brought out to you. Takes forever to get service, they walk around ignoring you. Here at breakfast right now and they haven't checked in with us in forever even though we are obviously trying to grab their attention. I decided to order DoorDash sent to my motel. The food came quickly, and was a good temperature. I ordered the good for you skillet, with fresh spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, and green onion. It also came topped with cheddar and Jack cheese. For bread, I asked for a tortilla, and Instead of potatoes, I asked for fruit, and got a very nice cup of melon slices . The food tasted very good. The only reason I am taking off a star was that while the food did taste very good, the eggs were just a bit soft for my personal taste. They could've been scrambled just a tad bit longer. Eggs were runny and my daughter spit the bacon out. Bathroom was not clean, should have trusted my gut and left. Will never go there again. However the OJ was good. But not worth the $37 I spent. The liver and onions were cooked to perfection with flavorful dark gravy. His mashed and my baked potatoes were generous servings and our meal came with two slices Texas toast. We took our leftovers home. But, we couldn't resist 1 scoop of ice cream for $.49! Amazing meal for two people about $25!!! Our server, Pearla, was so friendly and helpful. Don't recommend coming here on a Saturday morning, food and service is good BUT the restaurant doesn't consider ALL their customers. There are people trying to eat and enjoy their company and they have a church party singing on a speaker for over 30 minutes just being really loud I felt really uncomfortable that's not how I expected to enjoy my breakfast. read more

Like most other places, despite being "sausage" gravy, has no sausage taste. This has been a trend locally (similar to Train Depot). What happened to good sausage gravy in Fresno/Clovis?!? It was also room temp. The shallow bowl type dish this was served in was awesome. Wish more places used that kind of plating for a dish like that. French Toast. Great cook and a huge slice of bread. If they had better syrup (tasted like an off the shelf butter syrup), this would have been an awesome dish! Chili Verde Skillet. This place is a HUGE no. Walked inside the restaurant and immediately picked up on an unpleasant odor. Greeted by host. Waited for about 5 minutes. A nice gentleman got us in and let us know we can seat wherevernwe wanted. Very nice guy. Menu had plenty of choices. Waited a fair amount of time for our waitress. Overall, the staff was nice. What was disappointed was this huge piece of soaked paper that sat underneath my eggs. It resembled the same they use in our meat packages. How did it land in my plate. It grossed me out because it either cooked with the steak and eggs I ordered, or it flew it and they didn't see it. If that was the case, I can see why I saw pink on the paper. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts. We celebrated my grandpa's 80th surprise birthday brunch here, and from the very beginning the experience was nothing short of amazing. The staff welcomed us like family and even allowed us to come in early to decorate and move things around so everything would be perfect. Every single person was attentive, kind, and genuinely cared about making the day special. The owner and staff went above and beyond to make sure my grandpa felt celebrated and that our family was taken care of. The food, service, and atmosphere were incredible, but what truly stood out was the love and care we felt throughout the entire experience. I tried Seven today because I was in the area and have noticed it has been in business for a while. I ordered the French Dip with fries. The fries were great with a good portion, but the sandwich was a small portion with a little meat. The bun was about 5" x 3" cut in half with limited meat. The auju was good, but definitely a lot of auju left due to lack of a sandwich. The French Dip is not worth the price or if you are hungry, you will be disappointed. If I happen to be in the area again and want breakfast, I may try Seven again to try out their biscuits and gravy, but I wouldn't make a special trip for the food. read more

I went there for lunch yesterday afternoon around 2:00 p.m.. There was no one in the front to greet me and I thought the place might be closed. When someone finally did show up I ordered a hamburger. Halfway through eating it, I found dirt on the lettuce. This disgusted me not only because of not wanting food poisoning but I don't understand why they would not wash the lettuce when they had time to laugh and joke in the kitchen the whole time I was there. Friday, September 5 10 of us went to seven for the first time and must say very pleasantly surprised. I wanna make note that the water is absolutely delicious with no chlorine. We sat in an area that has a big table put you walk down a ramp to go to this room let's get to the food. The chili Verde was very very good sauce was rich, beautiful green color somewhat spicy. The meat was tender especially enjoy the pieces that have the fat on it and three eggs that were poached perfectly. two of the members had BLTs and they couldn't believe how much bacon was in the sandwich. Someone ordered crêpes they were so tender they ate the whole thing two of them at turkey sandwiches loaded with turkey. The french fries were just cooked perfectly two had French dips very surprisingly filled with a lot of tender beef and the juice was real tasty. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone for the first time in months. My bill was under $20 left full satisfied, impeccable service ambience very nice. We will be visiting this restaurant multiple times with our group of people during the month. The Wednesday, which would've been the third we were there for breakfast with a group of high school graduates. We've been out of school for 50 years and I ordered the steak and eggs for 1895 delicious I would give this restaurant an 8.3 out of 10 go it's worth it read more

Ive gone multiple times now saturday nights, the sisters that are usually there are amazing and everyone is always consistent, the cook does an amazing job.
