I love the little chick decor that they have throughout the restaurant. The staff is friendly and the food options are great. I recommend their kimchi fried rice as well as their Affogato.
Very cute spot for breakfast/lunch. I love the theme they have going. It's our first time grabbing lunch here at 12pm, and we were told the wait would be about 15-30 mins. Came back after 20 mins and the same table that was opened when we first came in was still opened and we were then seated. I think it would have been nice to be seated 20 mins ago when it was available since I had two toddlers with me. The order: we got their pancakes and oh my, they were delicious. Very fluffy, made fresh, topped with a generous lob of butter. We poured the entire syrup on top and it was sooo good. Must get. I got the steak and eggs, a little disappointed since I only got 2 slices of steak. I don't think this portion justifies the price. I had steak and eggs and I get a whole cut of New York steak. The potatoes were oddly cut. Every piece was different shapes and sizes. Steak was overcooked and tough. The loco moco was fantastic, the gravy was pretty good, good size patty and was cooked nicely and laid on top of some white rice. Very good. Customer service can be a little better. Everyone was very nice, but they lack attentiveness. My husband never got his sparkling water he requested, my kids never got water, we never got utensils until food arrived and had to ask for it.

The chilaquiles had some issues, with a few chips soggy and a couple undercooked, which kind of takes away from the dish. That said, the toppings were generous and the salsa had good flavor, so there's clearly potential here, just needs better execution on texture. The French toast was a nicer experience, fluffy and satisfying, though a bit small for the price and pretty simple in flavor. Nothing that wowed me, but solid enough. Service was a bit slow, and even something as simple as a fountain drink refill took longer than it should have. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. Overall, worth a try if you're curious since there are some good elements here, but it's not quite at go to brunch spot status for me yet.
Been wanting to go here for a long time. Was looking for a breakfast spot in clovis that was pet & dog friendly . I arrived 25 mins before my wife and asked if I could sit on the patio and have coffee while I waited and they were more than happy to let me. My wife also got a pineapple mimosa and she loved it. They have mimosa flights too which me might try next visit. I had the Netflix and chilaquiles and my wife has the Kim chi breakfast rice . Both were so yummy . I appreciated that the chips never got soggy ... a little pricy but the flavor, presentation and customer service was all there. Small con: there was a little lipstick on my cup and it definitely wasn't mine.
The kimchee fried rice was flavorful with very tender pork shoulder that reminded me of the meat in chili verde. Good amount of kimchee. Unfortunately the rice was undercooked (minus one star) with hard pieces throughout; I guess that's better than soggy rice but could be cooked a little longer. Lox schmear was good. Can't comment much since my friend got it and I didn't try it. She liked it. Yolked martini looked very pretty. The orange "yolk" is frozen orange juice that was frozen well. My friend was chipping at it and it took forever to melt. The Bloody Mary is a meal in itself with the bacon and olives and the size of the drink itself. Delish and strong; I was definitely buzzed when we left. Prices on the slightly pricy side. Decor is pretty and simple. Good amount of outdoor seating. Good place for a relaxing brunch but don't come here if you're in a rush since it does take a little while for the food to be cooked.
Yoked was just alright overall. We came during Mother's Day weekend, and they were offering a limited menu, which honestly wasn't very impressive and didn't offer much variety for breakfast. I ordered the chilaquiles, and unfortunately it was mostly tortilla chips with very little egg mixed in. Underneath were refried beans, but the dish felt overwhelmingly like a pile of chips rather than an actual balanced breakfast. It just wasn't very good, and we ended up sending it back. My husband reordered pancakes instead, which came out quickly and tasted much better. However, while he was still eating, the waiter tried to take his plate before he was finished, which felt rushed and awkward. The menu overall also felt overpriced for the quality and selection offered. It honestly seemed like there were more alcoholic drink options than breakfast choices. We really wanted to like this place, but between the limited menu, disappointing food, and service issues, we probably won't be returning.
2nd time eating here. Friday brunch with mom and sister. Neither of them has been here so I was happy to share a new spot with them. Started with a hot cup of Americano with cream. Sister enjoyed decaf Americano. The size of the coffee cups and the little plate and silver container the cream came in with a spoon on the plate, all perfection! Started with the fruit plate: grapefruit in the middle with a yummy glaze, fresh berries, and kiwi too. So delightful and plenty for three. Then we ordered: fluffy pancakes for sister, kimchi rice for mom, and biscuits and gravy for me. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we of course needed TO GO boxes. Generous portions. I did ask for additional gravy which came right out, hot, and no extra charge. We never felt rushed and were able to actually sit and enjoy our time together. We enjoyed a seat by the window and the ambiance of the restaurant was wonderful; music playing, not too loud, and the temperature just right. We will definitely be back soon.
Perfect day on the patio. Service was a bit slow, but they were so busy. Good for them! The food was fantastic. Even though I only had basic scrambled eggs, potatoes and bacon, there was nothing basic about it. Potato's and bacon were crisp to perfection! Sourdough toast was homemade. And the "breakfast " cocktails! So many delicious options. I went for their "everything but the toast" and it was so so delicious! We will be going back soon!
We visited Yolked Kitchen and it was definitely busier than I'm used to, but we called ahead and didn't have to wait long at all. We were seated right away, which was a huge plus. The Korean fried rice is still my absolute favorite dish there--so flavorful every time. My daughter tried the pancakes, which were a little underwhelming, and I think they would've been better paired with some protein. She's now convinced she needs to order the Korean fried rice next time too! The staff was nice and attentive, and the restaurant always has such a bright, cheery atmosphere. Always a solid spot we enjoy coming back to.
Tried Yolked Kitchen recently and it's a cute, casual breakfast spot with a really welcoming vibe. It feels like the kind of place you can linger a bit, especially if you're catching up with friends. They also have a nice outdoor patio that's perfect for groups, which makes it an easy pick for a relaxed weekend brunch. We walked in on a Saturday 11AM without reservation and got seated right away. We ordered the All American Plate with bacon and scrambled eggs, plus the Tri--Tip with sunny side up eggs. It took around 15 minutes from when we ordered to when we got our food. The tri-tip was cooked to medium and I did find myself wishing it had a bit more seasoning to really make it stand out. That said, the crispy potatoes were a highlight, perfectly cooked with just the right amount of salt and crunch. Overall, it's a solid breakfast spot that's great for casual meetups or group brunch plans.
Our first visit to Yolked Kitchen resulted in an outstanding casual dining experience. Our server Kayla was personable, accommodating and efficient. She asked if we were steak eaters and then offered a glowing recommendation for the nearby 13 Prime Steaks, which is owned by the same fine folks as Yolked Kitchen. My wife and I took advantage of the daily special for two, which includes two entrees, two eggs, two pieces of bacon or sausage, toast/biscuits and gravy, and coffee or juice for $45.00. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and perfectly cooked, while the sourdough toast and B & G (biscuits and gravy) were spot on. Even the coffee was vastly more flavorful than your typical generic breakfast spot brew. Notably, the ambience was relaxing and visually appealing. Soft rock music from the 60's, 70's and 80's played at a reasonable volume conducive to conversation. Overall, Yolked Kitchen hit it out of the park. We will definitely return to check out the rest of the menu. Highly recommended!
The service was fantastic. Very friendly and attentive. Plenty of choices on the menu. I picked the Fake it Till You Make it drink. It is a nonalcoholic drink with blood orange, lemon, simple syrup and ginger ale. It was refreshing and delicious, just too small for the price of $10. The pancakes were huge, fluffy and delicious. The syrup was like sugar water. I decided to pay extra and get the Whistling Pig whisky syrup. That was delicious. If I had known, I would not have wasted the taste and calories by pouring the other junk on first. Definitely pay and order the better syrup! My honey had the other meal. The sausage was very flavorful. He liked the biscuits and gravy. The eggs were well cooked. I will be going back to try some of their other items.
First time visiting and was excited to dive into the menu. I didn't look up the menu prior to our visit so when we look it over it was a smaller menu. I'm a pescatarian so the few options were good. Service was ok, nothing to rave about. But staff was nice. We were seated in the back booth area, and order pancakes, kimchi fried rice and the Chilequiles. I Would unfortunately not recommend the Chilequiles. It was pretty cold and lacked flavor honestly. But that kimchi fried rice!? Best item on the menu hands down. Pancakes were yummy. A crispy outer and soft/moist center. I'd probably just come for the rice again but take it to go. Try it for yourself!
I was visiting from the Bay Area to catch up with friends and kids who I haven't seen in years. One of my friends recommended this spot and it didn't disappoint. Luckily for us, we got a booth for 3 adults and 3 kids. The staff were super friendly and patient, considering how feral the kids were I got the Netflix & Chill-A-Quiles and devoured it. The pepper that it came was spicy and had a nice kick that I enjoyed. I don't often see chilaquiles as a brunch option and I'm glad I picked it. There's no kids menu but kid sized menu options. For being a kid sized option, you still get a huge pancake. I ate some of that and thoroughly enjoyed the pancake. The kid option is plenty for an adult in my opinion. My friends got the kimchi fried rice since it was one of my friends go to. I didn't get to try it but the other friend who had it for the first time killed her plate. The interior of the restaurant is extremely cute and modern, with outdoor seating. The bar also looked really nice to where I'd want to check it out if I wasn't pregnant. Plenty of parking and multiple restroom stalls. The restaurant is super kids friendly so I would definitely come back once my baby is here and we visit friends and family again. read more

I've had Yolked Kitchen on my list since before they opened, so I was excited to finally try it with my family! We came after church and it was pretty busy, so we ended up sitting outside. They had umbrellas and fans set up, although the fan near our table wasn't working, so it got a little warm. The menu is pretty straightforward with eggs being the star of most dishes, but they do have a few options without eggs, including fruit, salmon, pancakes, and French toast. They also have mocktails, cocktails, and the usual breakfast drinks, plus kids' plates. We tried the kimchi fried rice, loco moco, tri-tip & eggs, and Christmas burrito. My sister and her husband loved the Christmas burrito, and my dad really enjoyed the tri-tip plate. My personal favorite was the Christmas burrito, along with the "Fake It 'Til You Make It" mocktail. The mocktail definitely won over the matcha latte for me. The matcha was a little grainy for my taste and the flavor was just okay, so I'd probably order a different drink next time. Our server was super friendly and helpful. Since it was my first time and there were so many options, I asked for a recommendation and they were happy to help. Parking was okay, but since we came during a busy brunch hour, we had to park a little farther down from the restaurant. Overall, I can definitely see why this is a popular brunch spot. I always love finding new places to go after church, especially when the usual brunch spots are packed. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes and drinks! read more

Service with a smile when you walk in and out. Our order of cappuccino came out right away with lots of milk foam and one sugar on the side, Just the way I wanted it. I did ask for an extra sugar which didnt come which is fine. Our order of pancakes came out fluffy and crispy on the edges with a side order of sausage and tri tip, came out about 35 minutes after ordering, came out perfectly cooked. The sliced potatoes, fresh tomatoes, over easy eggs and spicy butter was a nice pairing to the tri tip. I will come back again ! Hopefully the outdoor fans and maybe mister ( water sprinkler ) will work as it was triple digits even that early in the morning. Non the less it was still a good meal. read more

Pricey, but worth it. Great service, nice atmosphere inside. Food was delicious, and the portion sizes were juuuuust right. Iced vanilla latte was average but acceptable from a breakfast joint. Good place overall. read more
We came here already twice, the atmosphere and food were good. Stuff is friendly and easy to communicate with. The outside seating area is so nice during this spring months. The food was good but for the type of food it's a bit pricey to be honest. The menu items that we tried were standard nothing that would stand out. For comparison for the same price if you go to Yava or similar lunch restaurant you would get more interesting food that what exist in this restaurant, though again as a standard lunch spot we will come back again. read more
The menu varies which is nice, pricing wasn't terrible but I don't think I'll be back. Imo the chilaquiles were ok. The green sauce lacked flavor and the chips didn't get soft enough for the salsa to soak in. It's a large portion and eggs were cooked well. Drinks are good, varying from $14-20 depending. The service was good, for 1 drink, 1espresso, and dish it was $51 after tip. read more

Such a great brunch spot! We have been here twice already. All the dishes that we tried were absolutely delicious--perfectly cooked, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The space itself is a big part of the experience. Both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are beautiful and thoughtfully designed, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a slow brunch. The service was just as good--friendly, attentive, and smooth without feeling rushed. Overall, a wonderful place for brunch with great food, lovely ambiance, and solid service. Definitely one to come back to! read more

I took my Mom out for brunch and we enjoyed this restaurant! Very friendly staff, we were seated quickly and the food was absolutely delicious. We both ended up ordering the "She's Crafty" and another guest even stopped to ask what we ordered because it looked so good. I can see why this place was so busy, it's a great environment with delicious food. I would absolutely try this place again! read more

We came a year later and the second experience definitely didn't match the first. Our waiter was very nice and attentive but our food took a VERY long time to come out. It was hot and fresh but we waited almost an hour just to receive it. As appealing as each dish looked, taste didn't match it. Sad that both of our items weren't as flavorful as they looked to be. The Bloody Mary was honestly the best part about this visit! Made me pretty sad because our first experience the food was amazing!! I know this business is constantly busy but maybe take a small step back and put more into it like you guys did when it first opened. This isn't a deal breaker for us, but I would love to see the same effort put in as you did when you first opened up. read more

I came here for a late lunch . We came shortly before closing , around 1pm . They weren't too busy at this time so we were able to be seated right away . We got the Christmas burrito and the chilaquiles . To be honest I wasn't that amazed at either dish . The Christmas burrito was kind of dry and not very tasty . The chilaquiles barely had any flavor and no sauce or anything . Yolked is super cute inside and they have a really nice bar area for people to sit at for drinks . I'll have to come back and try something else . read more
I enjoyed my experience here at Yolked. Fast and friendly service. Exceptional drink offerings! Wasn't expecting that. I opted for an og mimosa to be safe and it was balanced and good quality. This is the same people that brought the upscale charm of 13 Prime Steak and has now flipped the script on breakfast and lunch. Although I have yet to try 13 prime, I have heard great things about it. I got the slammin salmon which is like a lox -type dish on toasted bread. It was fresh and delicious! Definitely a more elevated version. I liked the red pickled onion and capers and cream. It was not overly salty which would be a concern of mine. My dining partner ordered the Christmas burrito and enjoyed both sides of it. Bathrooms were very clean and the patio is a good size here. Big bar in the middle of the establishment with some good sized booths. I would love to come back soon and try more drinks and dishes. read more
This was my first time trying The Yolked Kitchen, and it was pretty good. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant and fresh. The food was flavorful and enjoyable. My only complaint and this was my fault for not reading the menu carefully was that the chilaquiles didn't come with meat like I'm used to, but there was nothing wrong with them. The cappuccino and the Yolked house coffee were also very good. If you're looking for a breakfast spot, I'd definitely recommend this place. Just try to go a little early because it does get packed. read more
My friend has been raving about this restaurant for half a year now. I am regretful I didn't take her advice and visit this restaurant sooner. I ordered the fried rice and it was delicious and extremely flavorful! We ordered their new menu item that was a peanut butter & banana crunch dessert. The restaurant is small, but cutely decorated with blue & yellow. Our server was friendly & courteous. I will definitely be back to try their curated cocktail menu! read more

I ordered the 5 O'Clock Somewhere cocktail, which turned out to be an old fashioned. It wasn't as whiskey-forward as a traditional old fashioned, but it was still very enjoyable. I also had the kimchi fried rice, which was excellent and stood up to the drink nicely. read more
It's really hard to find a good burrito in Clovis. I'm from San Francisco so I grew up with El Faro, Quadalajara, La Taqueria, etc. Mission style burritos is what I grew up with. So after months of looking I kinda gave up and decided that I won't find a burrito I enjoy here. Then one day I wanted a breakfast burrito and this place popped up on Yelp. So I said sure why not. I went here and saw the Christmas Burrito and was like wtf is that. Lemme try lol. Ok it's not a mission style Burrito by any means. It's a whole different beast. It's amazing. I didn't know I needed country potatoes and braised pork in a wet burrito topped with an egg. I just didn't know I needed it until I did. Kinda like a 401k. At a point in my life I just knew I had to have it and now it's just a thing I give money to. However. I must say the first time versus the second time the burritos were a little different so the consistency threw me off. Not sure if there are multiple chefs or the prep is different but the meat tenderness changed a lot the second time. Still good but it was noticeably less tender. The Chillaquilles I did not care for at all. The staff was kind and efficient. The restaurant has a nice vibe to it. It looks like a good place to have a drink with friends. I need to try the Christmas burrito one more time to see how the consistency is. The first one had me telling my friends back home how happy I was to find a burrito. Yolked is def one of the nicer breakfast/brunch spots in town! I'm a big fan of their kimchi fried rice (unexpected menu item for a place like this), but on my last visit, we felt like it was a little too salty for our likings. Side of bacon was delicious- lol impossible to go wrong. My fave though is the banana foster french toast. it's basically a brick of bread pudding- very sweet though, so perfect for sharing. read more

I came here for brunch with my roommate and honestly you pay for the interior mire than the food itself. My breakfast taco was fine but my roommate's chilaquiles were a bit stale that she didn't end up taking the leftovers home. Maybe the other items are better so we'll see if I'll come back again read more
First time here and it is such a cute location. We were immediately greeted and seated. Even though it was busy not full but busy the waitress was quick and she checked on us regularly. The customer service was impressive. The food was ordered and came out quickly. The Chilaquilles were good but I prefer the green sauce which was not an option but hopefully someday it will be. The morning glory was like having coffee and desert all at once but it wasn't too sweet. I cannot wait to go back and try other items on the menu. read more
