Such a vibe in here! From the red vinyl seats to the 70's inspired fireplace, and dimly lit cozy seating area, you won't feel like you're in Fresno anymore. The Red Room is located just inside the Pardini event hall and offers a mix of classic and craft cocktails, wine, and a small food menu. I started with a vodka soda and ended with their Gimlet. The Gimlet was a perfectly light drink made with gin, lime juice, and a touch of simple syrup. I was here for a special event, so the drink menu was limited, but I need to come back and try the, "Get Out Of My Swamp" - Shrek cocktail. It's basically a Gimlet, but made with Gin, melon, pandan, and lime oil. Pandan is sort of coconut/vanilla/grassy flavor. The bartenders here are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the cocktail program. Parking can be tough here, so plan ahead. Closed Sunday through Tuesday, which means happy hour starts Wednesday at 5pm! read more

The Red Room has a very nice ambiance. It's very aesthetic inside. The day I went there was a DJ spinning Records. It was a nice vibe, very chill. The drink I ordered was disappointing. The drink came and it was about 70% full with a price tag of $16+. I picked up the ice cube and it shows exactly how much you're actually getting. This was super disappointing here. Our group was over the overpriced drinks for a small drink. The waitress was super busy the hour we were there so not very attentive but I understand. Now I've only had a chance to sit at the bar, but they do have a cutesy retro menu book and lovely red lighting . This is the first place I have tried burrata cheese and it surely changed my LIFE! I'm determined to come back for a sandwich because they look exquisite. Service can be so so I felt tonight we waited a little too long for two drinks, granted I did order the Fresno classic Stockholm royal while my partner had a simple vodka cran. I had been wanting to try the new modern, sophisticated bar in Fresno and finally did. Before entering the building you're greeted by the security. You enter into a nice bright hallway, and on your right side is the entrance to the red room. The vibe is moody with a little retro decor. Spacious bar area. Love the checkered tile and the red room area, which has a nice fire place. This place is perfect for a nightcap. There's background music, but I think the genre wasn't quite the mood. Maybe they change it up though! They have house cocktails as well as a changing cocktail menu with fun, spontaneous names and ingredients. I ordered the classic margarita and loved it. I liked the 2nd one I ordered more because it had more salt on the rim but still tasted great. For those of you having trouble finding it, you'll need to walk into Pardini's and take a right once you're inside. Parking is easy to find! The front parking by Shaw is usually crowded so I would suggest going towards the back of the buildings. We were seated right away (you choose where to sit) and service was great!! Our server was patient, very kind, and came by and gave us suggestions. The interior looks a lot better in person than it does in photos! The booths are actually really comfy, and there's ample space between tables so you don't feel like you're listening to the people next to you. There are so many details that elevate the experience: suede menu covers, Red Room coasters, velvety materials on the walls and booths, and real candles instead of the little plastic ones. We ordered cocktails from the music menu. Here's what we got & here's what we thought! Queen of the rodeo $15 (3/5): This one was super STRONG. My boyfriend thought the flavor of the alcohol was a little too prominent and he did want more of that peach/plum/honey flavor the menu mentioned. The Presentation was super cute as it comes in a ceramic cup instead of glass! Cocktails rule everything around me $16 (4/5): Comes with a strawberry frozen into a block of ice. I do think that the block of ice itself was huge; I thought it was one of those cubes that take up a lot of the space in the cup but it was actually a rectangle which was even bigger. The drink itself was great! Definitely on the safer side and good if you have a sweet tooth-- it's hard to go wrong with a fruity/strawberry cocktail. Overall, it was a great experience! Our server did say that it was an open bar so they could make other drinks at our request. PLEASE NOTE!!! Happy Hour is 5-7PM ($3 off cocktails and $2 off wine by the glass) There's also a "Aperitivo Special" which comes with two cocktails and the board or pressed sandwich for $35 (this is definitely a deal considering two cocktails alone were around $33 for me!). The bestie and I came here the day before thanksgiving. We got there right when it opened and had the choice to sit anywhere. We decided to grab a booth area right by the fireplace. Total 60s vibe with red velvet walls and carpet matched with a red fire place in the main seating area. The menu is simple but they can also make you probably anything not on the menu if you are more particular. I went with the old fashioned that was pretty reasonably priced as far as upscale cocktail bars go. The giant clear ice in it stands out and the old fashioned was smooth and good, my buddy and I also ordered olives that ranged in size and color which was a perfect balance to our drinks. We walked in with high expectations, especially with how much we love Annex Kitchen- our favorite restaurant in town and right next door. I'll start with the positive. My old fashioned was good. Very good in fact. There wasn't very much product in my glass with a large cube, but we have come to expect that with the prices of everything these days. My wife ordered their house margarita and it was too heavy on the hibiscus. It was too bitter and not well balanced, like the fantastic drinks next-door at AK. Our friends each had the Pepper & Passion, and although it was pretty, again, the flavor profile was off. It was fruit forward. Too much going on here. The other couple we were with had an Irish whiskey, which he liked, but her drink was not good. At all. In fact "Life finds a Way" off the menu. Just awful. Their food options are very limited, so we just got olives and roasted nuts. We were expecting a much better quality of nuts, but the almonds were actually soft. It was very bizarre and we were all confused. We think Red Room is too new; they need to work the kinks out. Also, the bartenders could take a few lessons from their peers at AK.
