I was searching for places and was surprised to see Eureka so close to home, so of course I had to go. I've been to the other location and knew a good night was in store, parking was a snap and upon entering was seated immediately. I chose to sit indoors and was escorted to a table by a window. Service was prompt and courteous and with a clearly defined menu we ordered drinks quickly along with an appetizer (see picture) I do appreciate having a little time to navigate the menu and look for specials. The waitress was considerate and knowledgeable of the menu (I could tell you some stories) with a humorous spirit we ordered and enjoyed our drinks and bites until we were served with our order. I ordered my hamburger medium and it was perfect! I also chose to have onion rings with is not a regular thing for me, some aren't crispy enough, this was the case tonight but good nonetheless. All and all a good experience for sure and the price wasn't a deal breaker for my next visit, give it a try and see if you agree. read more

We went to Eureka on a Friday evening, and although it was busy, we found two seats at the bar without a problem. The bar staff was incredibly friendly--someone came up to us right away, introduced themselves, and ran through all the offerings for the evening, including happy hour (which we lucked into!). One thing I really appreciated about sitting at the bar was the setup. The seats aren't crammed together, so we had plenty of space. There are hooks underneath for bags and jackets, and even outlets if you need to charge your phone. The bar also has multiple TVs showing different sports, which added to the fun, lively vibe. We ordered off the happy hour menu and were honestly blown away. I got an Old Fashioned, and they even offer a whole burger and fries on happy hour, which is amazing. We also shared the nachos. Everything tasted great, and the drinks were excellent--I ended up ordering another cocktail, the Spa Day Margarita, and loved it just as much as the first one. The food was delicious, the drinks were spot on, and the staff stayed attentive the whole time without hovering. It was a really easy, enjoyable dinner that didn't break the bank. I've been to the Eureka in Irvine probably 10 times. Now we had a chance to try out the Clovis location and it was phenomenal! The food was incredible, the service was great, the wait time from order to delivery was on point. The best part, the thing that took us to phenomenal was the patio. I love this patio. It was nice and cool out there. Everyone was enjoying themselves. Tables of happy people eating, conversing and laughing together. It was beautiful. I ordered the Cobb salad and it was perfection. Kendall had the seared salmon and devoured it. Amy had the nachos and she couldn't have been happier. My typical go to is the Fresno Fig burger, it's a monster and delicious. I've been here a couple of times. Food is decent. Service is average. Ambiance is upscale but not memorable. On my latest visit they had the Double Smash burger for $9 because it was Wednesday. When it arrived I asked the server if this was a small version because of the deal, he said it was the normal size. At $9, it was reasonable. Checked out their patio for the first time today and it was beautiful. Not busy for an early afternoon on a Saturday which was surprising. Our server, Kyle, was fantastic. I was super happy to have Eureka in Clovis. My friend and I were able to get reservations a couple of days before our dinner. Reservations were not too hard to get and using the website made it very easy. They sat us down right away. Our server was busy so somebody else came to check in on us and got a drink for my friend. I will say that I felt a little rushed and pushed to get out of there. My friend shared that she felt the same way. I got a Mocktail, which was actually just a blackberry lemonade. And then I got an Ahi tuna salad. The salad was OK. There weren't too many gluten or dairy free options. It was very small and crowded in there. I will say that the ambience is very loud and busy. The tables are kind of close to each other. The bar area is pretty big and can accommodate quite a few people. But I would say there's probably about 10 tables in the whole restaurant. read more

Came in for a colleague's birthday. The atmosphere of thjs place was welcoming and casual feeling. I have been to the other location in Fresno. I had already known that when I come here I was going to drop some money on a burger. I ordered the Wagyu Bone Marrow burger and asked for it to be cooked medium. That is indeed what I got. It was seasoned well and was juicy. I ordered it with tots which was also cooked just to my liking which is crispy on the outside and you can taste the tiny pieces of potatoes that make up the tot. I just will not say I would comeback again because the portion size and price point don't match. I get that Wagyu is expensive but the tots are not. Give me a lot more and I would justify the price point a little more. Not while the ever so popular burger place is across the way, I would choose that place instead of here. I guess if you say want to bring a date somewhere that not fast food and you want burgers then this would be your place to come. Service was great and ambience is great. You won't get a 5 stars because it wouldn't be a place I would recommend or comeback unless for a certain occasion or a friend/coworker wanted to come here. read more

I've been to the Fresno location multiple times, but this was our first time checking out the Clovis location. We decided to go for a late lunch/early dinner. Our service has always been consistently great at the Fresno location and the Clovis location didn't disappoint. We chose to sit out on their patio which is actually a bit bigger than the Fresno location. It would be the perfect spot to grab drinks and appetizers after work. Normally I love their wild child cocktail, but being pregnant I was pleasantly surprised by their mocktail options. It's hard for me to deviate from my usuals, including their fried pickles, truffle fries and blackened salmon Cesar salad. Overall, Eureka never misses in our book. read more

Was invited to have dinner here with the cousin in laws. Didn't know that they now have a Eureka in Clovis, last I remembered this was a poki bowl place that closed but didn't know Eureka replaced it. Anyways party of 6 adult and 4 kids. It was a strange service since part of our party arrived late and was going in and out of the restaurant, we ordered at different times but the staff was friendly despite the circumstances. My husband ordered the bone marrow burger with truffle fries and I had the al pastor fish tacos with arugula salsa and we ordered a cheese burger with mac n cheese balls for our toddler. I felt my fish tacos were okay, perhaps the pineapple threw me off i wasn't a huge fan of the sweetness of the pineapple and the mahi fish was cut cube side which was a bit awkward to eat and not really forming to my taco when I held it. I have been to this Eureka location a few times now. The food is always pretty good. This time, we went for a Father's Day lunch - 10 people total. We had a reservation so we were seated promptly and our waitress was nice and attentive but things fell short for us during this visit. We ordered an appetizer that I assume was forgotten so we reminded the runner to bring it out but it didn't come out until after we all got our meals. A couple of the orders were off: missing sauce, onions when asked for no onions, things like that. I ordered the Fresno Fig burger with truffle fries and felt like the burger was a little dry but the fries were amazing. The kids scarfed down their meals and ordered desserts. My son loved the bourbon cake. The chocolate cake was really odd. I couldn't tell if it was a lava cake or a regular cake that wasn't cooked through because the middle was really gooey. It was topped with whipped cream and what we all assumed were black sprinkles but turned out to be black salt. Ahi Stack: 7/10 It was okay but I wish I had a whole bowl of wonton chips vs tortilla chips. The wonton chips complement this dish more. Flavors up top are good, but not a fan of the base. Wings: 8/10 Came out hot and crispy. Demetrio recommended the firecracker to me which kind of just tastes like buffalo sauce. Didn't get to try the BBQ wings but my sister seemed to enjoy them. Spinach & Artichoke Dip: 7/10 Warm and served crunchy bread and chips. I enjoyed it enough. Pretty solid but not the best I've had. Cowboy burger:: 7.5/10 Not bad at all. Cooked exactly how I asked. The Eureka burger and fries are always my favorite! i like my burger well done, and unfortunately had to send it back, as it came out medium. My server ordered it correctly, and was on top of correcting the order as soon as she saw it was not cooked. I also ordered a mimosa and it was delicious. Went to the Clovis Eureka which has a nice large shaded patio out back that was perfect for this weather. Service was prompt and excellent. Never had an empty glass or have to wait for anything. Food: I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with their house salad on the side. The piece of chicken was rather small for the price, and I didn't particularly like the hot sauce. The side salad was ok. On the plus side, the salad had sliced avocado on top. My husband got a burger and fries, and he said they were good. All in all, it's a nice place to hang out on the patio in great weather and maybe have some drinks or apps, but for me the price to enjoyment of the food wasn't there. read more

This is a blink and you miss its location. It's tucked away in a small shopping center in Clovis. My wife and I have been to the Eureka location in Orange County and decided to check this one out. This Clovis location is much more upscale and modern than the sports bar vibe we got from the Eureka in the OC. The bar here is gorgeous and offers a stellar whiskey/bourbon selection. Their outdoor patio is very big and open, but they could use a few more heaters. We sat outside and shivered while sipping on a Moscow mule and some wine. I ordered the bison burger and my wife ordered a couple sides. Bison burger was very good and very spicy. The server did warn me that this burger comes with some heat and they were right! I ended up taking off a few of the peppers because the heat was killing me. The burger was cooked perfectly, and the bun was incredibly soft. The sides were just ok. I might be the only person who is done with oven roasted brussels sprouts. I feel like this menu item is done and needs to be retired. That said, the fried cauliflower was delicious; especially when dipped in the aioli. This place is pricey, so I don't think this would be a weekly spot. More a special occasion or date night spot. A large group of us came to Eureka after an exam and sat on the patio. The wait staff was so helpful and patient as they ordered food and drinks. The restaurant is beautiful but the service was really the highlight. I'm in love with Eureka! A group of 18 of us enjoyed a fantastic lunch on the patio on a Friday afternoon. The service from everyone was friendly, prompt, and the food was ah-maze-ing!!! I enjoyed a Crispy Veggie Beet Burger, & a lovely side salad with avacado. They even brought out an ample side of their delicious fig marmalade when I asked if I could try a little. The regular fries and sweet potato fries are fresh, flavorful & yummy too! On the patio, there are tables and chairs, and for our group, we sat at a very long picnic style table. The patio is lovely & spacious. Simple, chic style. Nice touches...like, when they bring out a requested extra item, it comes on a small white plate with a black napkin, and your item atop. There is a smaller, indoor seating area, booths, and a bar area as well. Guests at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meals and beverages. This is my new favorite place in Clovis! They have a huge outside patio for seating and the staff is friendly. As for the food, the Mac and Cheese balls for an appetizer is a must. Creamy and a little spicy. The spicy chicken sandwich was good as were the truffle cheese fries. The charcoal lemonade was different, but not something I would order again. Seating consists of picnic tables, wooden lawn furniture, and smallish tables with hard seats/chairs. I ordered from the "Hoppy Hour" menu. The Eureka Burger was perfectly done - a little messy, but delicious. I upgraded from the Signature Fries to the Truffle cheese Fries. I was impressed - not over seasoned, quite tasty. It was Moscow Mule Monday so... why not? It was very well made, using a house made ginger-lime syrup. Just... yum. Dessert was Bourbon Barrel Cake. Light and fluffy, not too sweet, plenty of pecans.
