Tried this spot for the first time over Mother's Day weekend. We got there around 8:30 and were seated pretty quickly, which was nice. It did take a bit for our server to come by, but once she did, she was super friendly and attentive the rest of the time. I went with the Netflix and Chill-a-quiles and my mom had the pancakes with a side of eggs. The chilaquiles were packed with flavor and really filling. My mom said the pancakes were light and fluffy. We also tried a couple of drinks--the "All the Works" Bloody Mary and the Tickled Pink. The Tickled Pink was just okay for me, but my mom enjoyed her Bloody Mary. The vibe inside is really cute--lots of fun, egg-themed decor. They've got a full service bar and an outdoor patio, too. I had a great first experience here! The girl taking care of us was the shift lead, she was very friendly and helpful. We felt very taken care of and attended to while we were eating. I had eyed the menu before arriving and was looking forward to trying the fried rice dish and it did not disappoint. It was very tasty and I enjoyed every bite. I probably would try something new next time, most likely the breakfast tacos! I'm also really looking forward to trying some of their cocktails next time too! The ambiance is nice. I had been wanting to try this place for quite some time, but there's always such a long wait that I put it off for a while. However, my friend and I decided to try it out early in the morning and we still have to sit outside in the sun. It was way too hot. They could've added one more umbrella in that area. The service was OK and the menu only had a few items. It's definitely one of those brunch drinking spots. I thought the breakfast that I ordered was mediocre. As a treat for my good friend we decided to try this restaurant for her birthday. It had been on our list to try for a while. This restaurant is very upbeat and trendy. I was quickly seated and ordered an espresso martini. I'm really impressed on how good that morning espresso Martini was as it wasn't overly sweet but it carried a very strong coffee flavor. I ordered the smoked salmon which was held high on Fresh sourdough bread. The salmon was delicious with the pickled onions and capers. I also added a side of potatoes which came out nice and crispy. My coworker had her retirement brunch here and they were able to accommodate our large group. However they don't take reservations and it's a first come first serve basis but my coworker who had arranged it was able to work with the manager and arrived early to give them time to set up the seating arrangement. The indoor decor was set up so cute and was literally "Yolked" out. Even inside the bathrooms the wall art is cute with little chicks and the color scheme with the white wavy walls screams egg yolk. Whoever was in charge of the interior decorating is a genius. Service was excellent. Even for our big group it was quick and friendly. She even split up our tabs which I know is a huge hassle for it being a large group but she did it so gracefully. My friend and I ordered different plates to try and I have no complaints at all. The cen cal taco was delicious. The kimchi fried rice was chefs kiss perfect. After going there, my friend and I took a second trip back because we needed another kimchi fried rice fix. Both times I was there it was on a weekday so I'm sure it's extremely busy on the weekends. On another note, the executive chef there is from 13 Prime Steak which is a few doors down and their steak is to die for. The food was really good and the drinks were okay, but the service at the bar was disappointing. My party of three wasn't greeted properly--i wasn't offered a drink menu at the bar while I waited for my party and was only given water, then mostly ignored. It felt like we were being treated differently while others around us were getting full service. Refills were also very slow. I'd consider going back for the food, but I'd hope for a much better experience next time. I even paid for the full party of 3 and left a generous tip so hopefully next time I'd be treated better. We were looking for a new breakfast place and found this one online. We were greeted with a smile when we walked in. It was standing room only so we had to sit at the bar. A table opened up and we were seated at a table next to the window, our waitress Jade was absolutely amazing, friendly, informative, attended to our needs and most of all had a great positive attitude and made us smile. That's Tri-Tip and Eggs and they were incredible and the granola yogurt was absolute satisfying with the perfect amount of portion sizes. We will definitely be back! My wife and I go most weekends. The food is delicious and plentiful. The Christmas burrito is super tasty, and it's so big I always bring half home with me. The service is outstanding (I'm looking at you, Diego!). The atmosphere is a little loud at times, but not excessive. The music over the PA system centers on 1980s pop and new wave. The meals aren't cheap and I did not want additional carbs so I asked that rather than put potatoes in my burrito that they just put in some tomatoes. I was told that I couldn't have tomatoes, but that they would just double the meat. Obviously these are made to order so I'm not sure why a restaurant such as this won't cook the food to order as asked. Additionally... What restaurant doubles your Protein? I've ate here 3 times and each time I ate something different. The best thing was the tri-tip and egg plate. It comes with a compound butter and it's tender and juicy. The worst thing I got was the burrito, it had more potatoes than meat,lacked flavor and the tortilla was a bit tough even though the presentation looks great. I came here expecting eggs in different variations and preparations. My friend got the kimchi fried rice and it was so salty. The kimchi flavor was missing from it. Mom ordered the croque dish, dude... It was all bread. Not even properly prepared and the size of break was ridiculous. Again not an egg forward dish. I got the lox dish and it was so unbalanced and overdone. The bread was toasted too hard. Food could have been prepared better and layered to make eating a pleasant experience. It was awkward and messy. The greens on the side were minuscule for a dish that cost sixteen bucks. All of us literally had doggie bags that actually ended up in the trash. They don't take reservations but you can call ahead and add your name to the list so I highly recommend doing so beforehand to make sure you don't wait long (especially on a weekend). I went to Yolked around their first opening week and I thought it was tastefully delicious! My whole party was satisfied and some menu items payed homage to New Mexico culture which touched some hearts in my group. I believe we were all satisfied with our orders other than the coffee because at the time all they offered was dripped coffee so when a member of my party asked for iced they were a bit confused and poured some hot coffee over 3 ice cubes. I have yet to try their new coffee menu selection, but I assume they heard us loud and clear. The inside was very cute and clean which was pleasant and I love that this restaurant was themed around EGGS! (My favorite protein other than steak and fish) The menu had a few options and everyone appeared satisfied but myself I found myself searching the menu for ONE THING.... Eggs Benedict... I'm sorry but if you're called yolked id assume you'd have the best yolky eggs benny in town, now I don't know if they've been added just yet but I highly recommend them being added to the menu. I did try their crochet madame (I'm not sure if I got that right) and it was very good so I was not disappointed but had their been a benny option I'd hop right on it! First impression walking in it was nice and upscale. The greeter asked if we wanted a table or sit at the bar. We chose the table. They have outside sitting and behind them is the Clovis trail which they are part of the Halloween event. So many food and drinks to choose from. After we ordered, it came fairly fast and presentation of the food was beautiful. My husband got the Christmas Burrito, meat and potatoes ratio not the same. He liked the green sauce better is was refreshing then the red. Though he did think they put too much sauce overall. I ordered the fried rice. It was delicious. This place is a hard NO, NEVER again for me. It was our first time and we invited another couple to join us for brunch. When we arrived, the ladies in the front greeted us and asked if we were on the waitlist. Told them we didn't know there was an option to be on the waitlist, didn't see anything like that on their website. So we ended waiting a little over 30 minutes. Once it was our turn one of the girls came out and got us and then we received a text that our table was ready. Sat us at our table and our server came and greeted us. She was really nice. Once we ordered, I went to go wash my hands and when I walked towards the back all I could smell was a dirty dusty rug/vacuum smell. Didn't really think anything of it. After getting back to my table, food came out in average amount of time. I took my cloth napkin and wiped my mouth after a sip of my drink. All I could smell was nasty wet mildew smell on the napkin. I wanted to throw up. I smelled my husband's napkin and it was fine, I told my friend to smell hers and her husbands. My friend also had a very dirty wet smelling napkin. We had to ask for new silverware and new cloth napkins but I was so disgusted I just asked for paper napkins. Our server was super shocked and did apologized but did have the look like whhhattt?? Are you sure??? I think that is what did it for me, I didn't enjoy the food and I had to smell everything before I ate it. My Christmas burrito was good but not amazing. The red sauce tasted like canned sauce. So I wasn't impressed by all the hype of this restaurant. It was definitely smaller than what I thought it was going to be. Had brunch with my girls party of 4 with 2 kids. No reservations I was the first to arrive it's was about 1130am thankfully they were not busy. They sat us at the booth in front of the restaurant. They have breakfast that's served all day and a few that served until 11 AM. Lunch menu is served from 11 AM to 2 PM. I ordered a Stackin Pancakes for my toddler and I ordered the Christmas burrito. My friends ordered the breakfast fried rice, green chili enchiladas, and the big dipper. Everything came out fairly quick, everything was hot and the presentation was beautiful. The Christmas burrito was huge the salsa, especially the green one was delicious. The meat was tender and potatoes were good. But the meat to potato ratio was off. Noticed there were only a few pieces of meat, and the majority of the burrito was filled with potatoes. The pancakes were delicious and fluffy. I tried my friend's breakfast fried rice and it was yum!!! It was perfect balance of flavors and the kimchi was so good. Everyone else said they liked their dishes. Yolked Kitchen is a refreshing reminder that we can have both gorgeous aesthetics and elevated food in the Central Valley. My wife and I decided to pop in for a midweek, brunch date. We sat at the bar and I ordered an iced coffee and my wife went for a mimosa. This mimosa had an amazing presentation. A frozen orange juice ball is placed into the center of the glass and champagne is poured over it, giving it the resemblance of an egg yolk. I love those kind of details. I ordered the Christmas breakfast burrito, and my wife ordered the Croque Madame. The presentation on both of these items was gorgeous with bright colors and unique dish-ware. My Xmas burrito was ginormous and loaded with braised pork chunks, potatoes, cheese and wrapped in a flour tortilla. Then topped with a red and green (hence Christmas burrito) chile sauce and one egg! The flavor combos were incredible and had me shoveling in forkfuls even after I was already stuffed. The two sauces on top had just enough kick to set off braised pork salty flavor. If this is your first time here, I highly recommend this burrito as the gateway drug to the rest of this awesome menu. My wife's Croque Madame was just as good, if not better, and had a gorgeous presentation. This is two slices of soft bread pan fried with sliced ham, gruyere cheese, a spicy mustard spread, covered in bechamel sauce, with a sunnyside egg on top. Pure glutinous decadence at its finest and we felt zero shame in eating this! If you've never had a Croque Madame, just think of a Monte Cristo sandwich minus all sugary additions. If you've never had either then I feel bad for you. My only beef about this place is that it's not closer to my house. I'm so excited to see places like this pop-up in the Clovis/Fresno areas and hopefully more restaurants will follow suit! read more

So this place has been on my bucket list since rumors starting popping up that 13 Prime & Executive Chef Tommy Chavez were up to something. Well if you like breakfast or you don't this place will make you a believer. Ambience is pretty relaxed with optional seating at the bar and even the patio out back along the trail. We opted for the patio since we didn't want to wait any longer. Service was exceptional with no issue at all, very attentive and not overwhelming either. For food we went with a seasonal drink "Cupids Kiss" and a "All the Works" Bloody Mary., I couldn't resist even though a Old Fashioned on the menu was calling my name. Four our meals we went with a B&G "Biscuits & Gravy" and I went with the "Netflix & Chill a quiles" I will be honest I usually don't order chilaquiles because most places either over sauce them or let them sit under a heat lamp for awhile making the tortilla chips soggy. So I did hesitate. But don't if that's what you like, they came out perfectly crunchy all the way to the last bite, not sure how they pulled that off. The sunny side egg on top was the crown jewel though, because that is my daily struggle to find in a restaurant or even for me at home even with my many years in the restaurant business. So yea, don't sleep on this place and don't mind the wait outside, its worth it read more

While eating at this new restaurant isn't cheap (expect $18-$24 without drink), it has some unique offerings that are NOT available elsewhere. Along with simple quality, that's perhaps the most important aspect that I'm looking for. Located in N Clovis, it's a classy operation with about the best possible service you're going to get anywhere. The tableware, glass, ceramics are upscale and you'll be eating with cloth napkins. We ordered 2 separate entrees and a side of sausage. We never order drinks other than water so that saved a bit off the just over $55 tab before tip. It's a modern vibe, held back and not overly decorated. A personal preference as I dislike things that are TOO busy...for being just after 8AM, it was a bit cooler than I'd have liked. Folks overcompensate based on how hellish it is this time of year later in the day. Still, it's just after 8AM! IF you have a vent over your table like we did, not great. Music was just a tad loud for a similar reason. Service was exceptional with some really classy girls serving our table. Nice seeing wholesome, alert staff with good eye contact who listen well... Although I love sweet things, I have absolutely made some major decisions in my life about what I allow myself and how frequently. I don't normally eat breakfast and it had been like one pancake or waffle within the last 20 years. I'm serious.... And it's all because of this banana fosters creation/French toast number that I made an exception. The bread was made in house as was the sauce and it was fried to perfection. Together with the bananas, it was just fantastic! Worthy of an exception and worth waiting for. We split that. I ordered a side of the sausage which is also made in house and it was spectacular. Seven dollars for two links... I chose the steak with eggs and polenta for my meal and it was likewise delicious. It's so nice to eat at a restaurant that has unique offerings that are not available elsewhere... too many of these places are carbon copies of each other and even the simple stuff is rushed and not often executed properly.. just the opposite here. Anyway, whether it's a splurge or not, perhaps it's worth putting off a lesser breakfast spot for a couple visits and saving up for something special here... It's a nice area, not overwhelmed by homeless people.. The restaurant has large windows and has an outdoor patio directly behind a large active bike/trail running path. It was fun watching how active that area was, people jogging with their animals coming in off the trail to do whatever in the center... relatively safe area where people can enjoy the outdoors without too much worry. Found this place on Yelp. Excited about this place, we simply had to try it for ourselves. We got here and was told there was a 10-15 minute wait and got the text within the time quoted. Was really excited about the drinks that did not disappoint! Drinks were fantastic! Ordered the pastrami hash as well as the jalapeño cheddar grits. My wife ordered the banana fosters French toast which was also awesome! Little disappointed that the don't give military discounts, but overall it was a great experience!
