Tried to get in n last weekend, but the times we were looking for indoor dining weren't available. Was able to get in today! I really like the atmosphere here. Our server, Cole was on it. We split the prime rib with sides being mashed potatoes and green beans. Our drinks were great! All around, this is a great place for prime rib.

My husband and I went to the Wlbow to celebrate my birthday. We ordered Steak Bites and Brussel Sprouts for appetizers. The steak bites were tossed in a soy sauce and laying on a bed of red cabbage and had green onions and sesame seeds on top. The Brussel sprouts were roasted and sitting on top of a whipped goat cheese with a bourbon glaze on top! I think the sprouts were out favorite! I had a Peruvian dish called the Lima Saltaldo and he had the Prime Rib with green beans and mash potatoes. For dessert we had the Crème Brûlée. One thing to note is if you order your steak make sure you ordered it a temp above how you like it. For example if you like Medium Rare order it medium. Apparently they cook their steak a step down. My husband eats his steak medium rare and they brought it out rare. He wasn't thrilled about that, but said the meal was still good. Ambiance is nice, you can go casual and or dressed up for your meal. The Elbow room does make you feel like you step back into a classics steak house.

Best time ever. My friends birthday and they went over and above to make things memorable. She had always been there but I hadn't. Service was on point. From the host recommendations on food. Whiskey to drink yes all of it was worth going. Nice place to go for a date or a group.

This is a local favorite located in the center of Fresno. I didn't know what to expect walking in being that it was my first time. It's not a steakhouse but above a chain restaurant. It's causal but cool. Whenever we don't have our children we like to sit at the bar. I ordered their seasonal cocktail (it was valentines week). It was good but very sweet. My husband ordered the tritip sandwich and I got the shrimp scampi. My scampi was a little dry for my liking. But overall good, when I come back I'll definitely try something else.

I was craving a steak and this came up as a suggestion. We were seated outside at a high top table. Noise is a little loud for a Saturday night but that's expected. Service was good even though it was busy. We ordered the calamari as our appetizer and it came with a salad that helped cut the oil from the deep frying. Really good. I ordered the steak sandwich and my bf ordered the 14 oz dry age steak. I would come back just for the jalapeño cheese bread alone. It was more of the star of the dish than the steak. This was our first time trying dry age steak so I can say it's not for me but I can see how some people might like it.

This place is huge ! Couldn't tell from the outside but there's a small market inside that sells wines, whiskies and cheeses along with some of their aged steaks. There's seating inside, a bar and then a huge patio seating, in fact there's even 2 outdoor patios. We dined in on New Year's Eve. Arrived about half an hour earlier than our reservation time and got seated right away and had the nicest waitress. I ordered the Fig Garden Antipasto and it was nice to chat while munching on this charcuterie board. It does not come with enough crackers but we asked for more and there wasn't an extra charge. For food i ordered the Lomo Saltado, a Peruvian steak dish with lots of veggies with a side of rice it was sooo tender! Surprise fries on the bottom of the steaks and it was my favorite part of the dish Not pictured is the shrimp ceviche, insanely fresh and limey, huge portion as well.

ELBOW ROOM LEFT NO CRUMBS, literally!!!! I'm from the Bay Area, so I had my reservations about the Fresno food scene, but boy did Elbow Room come correct. I WISH I lived closer because this would become a staple place to go for casual date nights, birthdays, get together, etc. The service was AMAZING!! We came for a date night while in town visiting friends and had our 3 month old and stroller with us. The staff was so kind, helped us keep our stroller out the way and offered a sling to keep out car seat at the table with us. Everything was so smooth and even better than I imagined for bringing a baby to eat dinner with us at a restaurant. I asked for hot water and the waiter instantly knew it was for a bottle for the baby and he was so kind and brought some out right away. I wish I got his name, seriously great customer service the entire night! The vibe is homey but not casual. It has more class, taste and elegance. You can choose to be as laid back as the brews on the menu or treat yourself to some dry aged steaks and prime rib. There really is something for everyone. Everything we tried was fantastic, delicious, perfectly seasoned and came out hot. The sourdough appetizer with garlic and butter was demolished. The prime rib was juicy, tender and hit the spot. All the sides were delicious and we were so surprised how delicious the pork chop was!! Honestly, 10/10!! Elbow Room, you're a true gem. Love yaaaa, xoxo.

The creme brulee is amazing here! The staff are genuinely kind, service is always great. Love there patio, nice ambiance. Oh and they are super dog friendly, I frequently walk my dog to this spot. They usually give a dog bowl of water and sometimes bacon treats. This is probably my dogs favorite spot too lol

I've visited twice now to try different menu items, and most of what we ordered was good. The Mexican shrimp wasn't very fresh, but being in Fresno, fresh seafood can be hard to come by. However, the steak open sandwich and the hamburger were delicious. The steak portion on the sandwich was quite generous. The service was warm and attentive, and the ambience was casual classy. Overall, it's a lovely spot for a gathering with friends.

When making the reservation, i made a note that it was our anniversary! When we arrived and checked in, the hostess acknowledged our anniversary, as did our server! Very hospitable that they acknowledged it, as some other places don't. The food has been great both times and the portions are generous! Some high end places get a little skimpy, especially with the sides. Not here! This time around, I ordered the Prime Rib, got the whipped potatoes and substituted the Brussels sprouts. Both were generous portions. Also love the added touch that they'll give you fresh horseradish to go along with the horseradish cream for a little extra kick. My wife had the Ribeye, which we've both ordered before, and it's delicious. She ordered the cashew green beans, but they were very saucy and some were burnt. When brought up to the server, she said she would have the kitchen make her a fresh ordered without hesitation. Within a few minutes, a nice sized portion of fresh Cashew Green Beans arrived! The Wedge Salad is also delicious and generously portioned. It could actually be a meal for someone, if so inclined. The atmosphere is also very welcoming and private. We've sat inside and on the patio, and actually preferred the patio seating! I can't say enough about the hospitality of the staff though. There's a gentleman who is either the lead host or a manager, that's been there both times. He takes a personal interest in the customers and makes sure to visit each table, which you don't often see. As we were walking out, he was also walking out behind us. Even though we were a few steps ahead, he wished us (again) a happy anniversary and to have a great night! This is a special place in Fresno and a great choice for a special occasion. The Annex checked every single box. First, let's talk about Sammie. If every restaurant had a Sammie, Yelp would probably have fewer 3-star reviews. She welcomed us like we were regulars, knew the menu inside and out, and steered us toward the Tagliatelle with the confidence of someone who knew we'd be thanking her later. She wasn't pushy, rehearsed, or robotic, just genuinely excited about the food. Those kinds of servers are rare. Honestly, Sammie is the fifth star on this review. Now the food. The Tagliatelle absolutely lived up to the hype. Rich without being heavy, flavorful without trying too hard, and balanced in a way that's surprisingly hard to pull off. Every ingredient had a purpose. After one bite, we completely understood why Sammie recommended it. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly. Great crust, tender inside, packed with flavor... and somehow the potatoes nearly stole the show. I know, they're potatoes. But whatever magic happened in that kitchen deserves some recognition because they were ridiculously crispy, perfectly seasoned, and impossible to stop eating. The burrata with stone fruit was another standout. Creamy burrata, sweet fruit, salty prosciutto, fresh mint, and toasted bread all came together into one of those bites that makes everyone at the table suddenly stop talking for a second. And then there was the mixed mushroom pizza. Some of the best mushrooms I've had outside of a music festival... kidding. Mostly. Seriously though, the mushrooms were incredible, and the pizza had that perfect balance of earthy, cheesy, crispy, and chewy that keeps you reaching for "just one more slice" until the plate is mysteriously empty. By the end of dinner we were completely full... and I was still looking at the menu trying to justify ordering something else. That's usually the biggest compliment I can give a restaurant. We'll absolutely be back. For the food, for the atmosphere, and hopefully for another table in Sammie's section. Whoever hired her made a great decision. Whoever decides raises should probably have a conversation with her too.

We were really looking forward to coming here after being new to the area and stumbling upon it because our groomer is across the street - but please, beware. The ambiance is adorable with special handmade- steel art all over the walls but the food just sucks. Von's sourdough baguette? Really? Like guests wouldn't notice? The amuse-bouche is basically a stale crostini with flavorless cream cheese on top and they call it a "mousse". Crispy Brussel spouts were greasy and too aldente and lacked salt - the calamari was flavorful but soggy - maybe they need to change the oil - the kale salad was a Taylor farms Costco Caesar with like 2 pieces of chopped kale and un-toasted pine nuts sloppily thrown on top. A little fusion of some other ethnicity food here. They mainly focus on their limited menu and always wing it everytime. The consistency is always on point. I love their fresh farm to table ingredients. Their plate is super affordable and beautiful. AMBIANCE :: This place is always pack. The line are always long but it does move up pretty quick too. Indoor is always pack and stuff. They do have a large patio too. I wouldn't really recommend sitting out in the patio during the hottest time of the day but it's not that bad too. They do have mist and coolers outside. Artificial leaves covering up the place cools it down a lot too. The PROS for dinning in the patio is the fresh air. SERVICE : Is great. And even though it all tasted great, my food was cold, as if it had been sitting for a while. We were told a couple of large to-go orders came in that disrupted the timing of our food, but in reality, it seems like our order got lost in the mix. It finally came 70 minutes after we arrived, and I was surprised that when my partner asked for a refill of their tea (which they naturally finished well before our food came), they charged them for a second drink and didn't even offer to comp the refill for the long delay. I don't expect freebies when I go out, but it just seemed like we were more of an inconvenience to them than anything. It's unfortunate because their food is always great and I want to see them continue to succeed, especially during this difficult time with road construction outside.
