Everything on this menu is top tier! You can tell they use high quality ingredients! The food tastes amazing! The appetizers are just as good as the entrees! There's always a wait outside of the restaurant, but I'm telling you it's so worth it! It's clean and modern inside with plenty of seating available! Such a gem in Fresno and I always come back when I'm in the area!
Had to come back to Heirloom! Our favorite restaurant in Fresno hands down. I ordered the tri tip with roasted sweet potatoes, kale salad, and the seasonal kombucha. The tri tip was cooked to perfection - it may look overcooked BUT it is so soft - we think it's been sou vided then grilled for that smoky flavor. The sides were also flavorful and fresh. Highly highly recommend you check Heirloom out when you're in town. The line can get long but it moves quickly.
Pretty crowded but overall good restaurant. The food is 10/10. The customer service is 10/10! You don't feel like you're in Fresno
Sometimes simple is best, and this hamburger proved it. Easily one of the best burgers I've had from Northern California all the way down to Southern California. The hospitality was excellent, the food had that fresh, homemade quality, and the overall experience was outstanding. I highly recommend checking this place out. Biff and Canton were here.!
Sometimes you go to a restaurant and the food is the star. Sometimes it's the atmosphere. And then there are places like Heirloom, where you realize the entire experience has been thoughtfully put together. We sat at the bar on a busy Thursday in Fresno, and honestly, I highly recommend doing the same. This is a quick-service-style restaurant where you can wait in line to order and then be seated, but snagging a seat at the bar gives you a completely different perspective on the experience. Aaron and Johnny were an absolute dream team. If you're there on a Wednesday or Thursday, look for these two. When they told us to "sit back and relax," they actually meant it. We didn't want for a thing. Water stayed full, we were consistently checked on without ever feeling hovered over, and their food recommendations were some of the best restaurant suggestions we've had in a while. And that last part is important... the suggestions weren't just upsells, but instead they were thoughtful and intentional recommendations that genuinely complemented what we were ordering. You could tell they weren't just trying to add another item to the ticket but were really were trying to make our meal better. That kind of service is becoming very rare, especially in a quick-service setting. Meanwhile, the restaurant itself had that great something's happening here energy. Busy, lively, people coming and going, the bar buzzy. This is exactly the kind of place you want to stumble into on a Thursday night in Fresno. Heirloom gets balance. It is casual enough to feel approachable, but intentional enough that you leave feeling like someone actually cared about your experience. And with Aaron and Johnny behind the bar? Sit back. Relax. Let them take it from there. (Side note, I believe it is Johnny but might be John, I know for sure if you are manager of this place you know who I am talking about!)
Heirloom! I have a question, did you change your ranch, salad dressings and teppenyaki fried rice? It was all less than what we are used to coming for a delicious visit. We all noticed so I need to know - is this a permanent change?
Heirloom is still one of my favorite places to dine! Always friendly service, excellent food, and reasonable prices. The only negative is sometimes the line to get in. I'm a big fan of their grilled artichokes and ordered them as a appetizer. They are always cooked perfectly and have a nice dipping sauce. Definitely not a common dish at most restaurants and it might be seasonally available here. My other favorite item is the ancho crusted tritip... today I ordered the tritip plate with a wedge salad side with my favorite drink... the strawberry cucumber limeade
Updating my review from over 7 years ago. A mommy friend and I along with our 4kids visited them today just past the 11:30am lunch hour. As usual there was a line, it took about 15-20mins for us to get to the front and orders taken. I haven't been here in years and I really missed it! Before reaching the registers our order was taken by a kind lady while we were in line. My order: salmon with tzatziki sauce, teppanyaki fried rice and rigatoni with sausage. I also ordered my kids from the lil sprouts: spaghetti with butter & parm. We requested for patio seat since we had our munchkins were with us. I've never seat in their patio area, it was wonderful! Shade, misters and ac though it was a hot 90 degree weather it was very cool and comfortable! Our food came out quickly and plated beautifully! Large portions. The food was amazing! So much flavors. The salmon paired perfectly well with the tzatziki sauce. The pasta was and the fried rice was delicious! The kids meal was also large portioned and enough for my kids to share and they enjoyed it. For dessert we ordered their frozen greek yogurt the baklava & honey was yum! Perfect treat to top our lunch! Will always recommend this place! They are Busy, but thankfully everything went smoothly.
I love Heirloom. This place is definitely the gem of Fresno! It's not a fancy, high-end restaurant, but they absolutely know how to plate and make food that keeps their customer come back for more. Their dishes have their own unique twist, and while they may not always follow the traditional recipe, everything is incredibly flavorful and statisfying. The flavors are simple, approachable, and easy to enjoy. Making it a spot that almost everyone would love. They mainly focus on the new American table. A little fusion of some other ethnicity food here. They mainly focus on their limited menu and always wing it everytime. The consistency is always on point. I love their fresh farm to table ingredients. Their plate is super affordable and beautiful. AMBIANCE :: This place is always pack. The line are always long but it does move up pretty quick too. Indoor is always pack and stuff. They do have a large patio too. I wouldn't really recommend sitting out in the patio during the hottest time of the day but it's not that bad too. They do have mist and coolers outside. Artificial leaves covering up the place cools it down a lot too. The PROS for dinning in the patio is the fresh air. SERVICE : Is great. With the high volume of guest and crowed it is. They are so patient and friendly. RATE : 5/5 PLATES :: If you're undecided and wanted a little bit of everything. I recommend choosing a plate. You get a little bit of everything. Ill say everything taste generic but so good too. WOOD GRILLED PROTEIN : SHRIMP W/ GARLIC BUTTER : Their garlic butter shrimp is so buttery. It's slightly seasoned and salted. RATE : 5/5 WOOD GRILLED PROTEIN : SALMON W/ TZATZIKI SAUCE : I love their soft salmon with a lightly crispy crust. Llightly seasoned. It's not fishy and gamey at all. I love their tzatziki sauce and it paired so well with the lemon juice too. RATE : 5/5 WOOD GRILLED PROTEIN : ANCHO CRUSTED PRIME TRI TIP : Nicely seasoned and salted. It's always come out medium rare, tender and juicy. RATE : 5/5 NOTE :If you like medium rare pieces of beef. Go for their tri tip. If you wanted more cook go for their ribeye. The cons about their ribeye is that they are not consistent. You can ask to be remade but it does take them awhile to cook it too. SIDES : TEPPANYAKI FRIED RICE W/ BACON : I love their bacon teppanyaki rice. It's probably a must have everytime you go there. I love their sweet sauce on top of the rice. It's a kids favorite choice too. The sodium level is perfect. Usually bacon would overly salted it but this fried rice is perfect. RATE : 5/5 SIDES : RIGATONI W/ SAUSAGE, PECORINO : Straight up generic boiled pasta with sour tomato sauce and sausage. It's so simple but its ok. I'll say this could be kids top 2nd favorite side dish. RATE : 4/5 FOUNTAIN DRINKS :: I love their unique fountain drinks. It's mainly focus on Mexican fountain drinks. OVERALL :: Sometimes the best food isnt about being authentic. It's about being delicious, the art, and this restaurant definetly delivers. I can already see myself coming back for more!
Heirloom is one of my favorite restaurants in Fresno! It's almost always busy, so expect to wait in line, but it moves surprisingly fast and is definitely worth it. I love their ordering system--you order first, then grab a seat while your food is prepared. The staff is always kind, attentive, and frequently checks in to make sure you have everything you need. They have a small patio that's nice, but I personally love sitting inside. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has such a warm, inviting atmosphere. My favorite thing about Heirloom is their rotating seasonal menu. There's always something new to try, which keeps me coming back. My all-time favorite is their seasonal fig pizza. I don't have a picture of it, but if it's on the menu when you visit, definitely order it! Their cocktails are also fantastic and pair perfectly with the food. If you're ever in Fresno, Heirloom is absolutely worth checking out.
I'm probably the last person in Fresno to come here. Our run club celebrated the end of the season here today and everything went well. You have to line up to order because this isn't a sit down restaurant. Line moves quickly and efficiently tho with cooling misters outside. I got the build your own plate because I wanted to try a variety of things. I got the tri tip with the rigatoni and corn and the mushroom taquitos and my friend got the waffle fries to share. I also got the peach green tea. Food was amazing and I had no complaints plus it came out quickly.

Such a great spot! Met my cousin here for lunch the other day and had the ribeye steak for lunch. Thought it was a thinly sliced cut, but it was perfect and great flavor too. The service was great! Could believe the line out the door waiting to get in for lunch. I wouldn't normally wait in a line for lunch, but this one moved pretty quickly! Great ambiance and loved the different flavored drinks they had at the soda fountain...not your normal flavors--Cream Soda! I'll be back again soon! They are doing something special here for sure!

The key to eating here fast is getting a spot at the bar!!! You've got to be fast though! My husband and I came in on Saturday evening around 5pm and got a bar top within 2 minutes. We shared the surf and turf and the sweet potato waffle fries. I would've given 5 stars if my fries didn't come out cold but they were okay, I was too unbothered to ask for a fresh set read more

My friends and coworkers have raved about this place forever. After avoiding it due to the long line, we finally gave it a try. I'm so glad we did! The line went fast, and everyone there was so friendly. The place looks really nice inside and has a cute outdoor seating area. Due to the summer heat, we ate inside but noticed they had little fans on the outdoor tables to keep the bugs away which is much appreciated. The flavor of the food was delicious! The surf and turf was not only good but it was gorgeous!! I am obsessed with the flavor on the shrimp. The only complaint we have is half of our food was cold. The surf and turf and the tri tip was cold, but the chicken was steaming hot and the carbonara was nice and warm. The flavor and cook in the tri tip was good. The carbonara was really good, and the chicken was super tender and had a nice flavor. I can't believe it was only $6 to add on 2 chicken breasts to the pasta. The salmon burger was also good, it was just a little messy to eat. The patty broke into a few pieces that would slide out which made the avocado slide out much easier. The fries were also good. Something that really stood out to us was the size of the portions. You definitely get a bang for your buck here. I would love to return and try one of their salads. They looked phenomenal! read more

I received the message on my phone saying that my order was ready for pickup but much for my surprise it was not ready for pickup I had a way to extra 20 minutes. There was limited parking out front. When I tell you that if you're in the area, you NEED to eat at this restaurant, I mean it. It's very casual dining -- you order at the front and they bring the food out to your table -- but everything is farm-to-table, and the food was so fresh and delicious. Everything came out super fast, and me and my friends ended up splitting a bunch of different items so we could try more of the menu. We started with the buffalo cauliflower as an appetizer, which was honestly the only slightly disappointing thing we had. It just felt like it could have used a little more sauce and flavor. We also shared a spring salad that was super fresh, flavorful, and really good as well. For our meals, we both got the Mediterranean chicken plates. I love the creativity of the food. My steak was perfect! And love my side of pasta. I did get the fried rice (but didn't care for it). My sister got the chicken and roasted sweet potatoes with Tzatziki sauce and it was amazing. The Loombread + brie was soooo tasty! Note that when you arrive (lots of parking) you would get in line, look at menu, order, pay then find seating. Seating is open and you gotta find your own seats. My friends and I came here on a busy Friday for lunch. There was a line outside the door but it went pretty fast. You order your food first then get seated. Staff were able to get us a table right away as well because we chose to sit outside. Although it was hot that day, they have a giant fan and misters outside. The food was delicious. I got the blue burger and garlic fries. I really liked the potato buns and burger patty. The buns were toasted perfectly and the patty had flavor. The garlic fries were great and had a lot of flavor, but I myself prefer fresh chopped garlic instead of fried garlic. My bf ordered the tri tip sandwich, which we were pleasantly surprised that it was tri tip within a burger instead of just a tri tip sandwich. Really solid food and impressive service at this Heirloom location in Fresno. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive for a counter service restaurant. We had the grilled chicken sandwich - that I accidentally inhaled before snapping a pic. My bad . Also a peach salad which was full of goodies and balanced well with sliced fresh peach. This place is always busy, but for good reason. I ordered several different things this time, and overall, everything was really good. The **mushroom taquitos** are always a hit. I normally would never order anything that doesn't have meat, but these genuinely surprised me. They have so much flavor that you don't even miss the meat. I'd rate them **9/10**. The **surf and turf** was another favorite. The combination of medium-rare tri-tip with sweet tempura shrimp on top creates a great balance of savory, salty, and sweet. Definitely a **9/10**. I also ordered the **tempura shrimp**, which comes with a good portion that's perfect for sharing. The shrimp were crispy, and the sweet sauce was delicious. Another **9/10**. For my main plate, I ordered the **ancho-crusted prime tri-tip** with roasted carrot mix and teppanyaki fried rice. The best parts of this dish were definitely the tri-tip and fried rice. I'll be honest--the tri-tip can be hit or miss depending on how well it's cooked. I've had it here before and would rate it around a 7/10, but on this particular visit, it was cooked perfectly and deserved a **9/10**. The roasted carrots were just okay at **6/10**. The **teppanyaki fried rice**, however, was exactly what you'd expect from a teppanyaki restaurant and was easily a **10/10**. I also tried the **keto salad with tri-tip**, and unfortunately, this was the weakest part of the meal. I'm not sure if it was the combination of ingredients or the vinaigrette, but the flavor just wasn't up to my standard. I'd give it a **5/10**. Overall, though, there were far more hits than misses, and I would definitely come back again. The **service is top notch**, especially considering how busy this place always is. I sat at the bar, which has limited seating but offers full service and is self-seating when spots are available. The rest of the restaurant is first come, first served. The **ambiance is also great**. It's a good spot to meet up with friends, have a casual meal, or even meet for business. This is my go to spot for healthy fresh meals. My hands down favorite is the ancho tri- tip plate, I usually get greens, carrots, or sweet potatoes for my sides. You can pick two side with the plates. I mostly order on the app for pick up at the window. The line is always out the door if you choose to dine in, but it moves quickly and it is worth the wait. I love the outdoor patio ambiance, it's perfect for a night out with family or friends. They have a large menu with seasonal items, and everything I have tried has been delicious. You really can't go wrong they have something for everyone's taste buds here. I eat here very often probably at least once a week. The app is so convenient. The food is always fresh. Update 6/29/26: This place still really good. There's always a line that starts from outside. It goes by relatively quick. Ordered the salmon, rice and peach salad ($22) and the tri tip with carbonara pasta ($26). The interior is nice, plenty of seating, and very cutely decorated inside. They have their own sodas and drinks. You order from the cashier and then they seat you to a table. They bring you your food right after. The tri tip was tender and salmon was good. Rice was tasty and peaches were sweet and refreshing. Definitely would show people this place if looking at a place to eat at. read more
