    Poke Nachos

Yard House was a great spot for us last night. The service at the bar was great, all three bartenders were attentive, friendly, and made sure our glasses were never empty. The only disappointing part was finding out they no longer offer late night happy hour appetizers. It's time they bring that back!! That was always such a fun perk. Thankfully, they still serve food late. The poke nachos are still by far my favorite thing on the menu and definitely worth ordering every time.

Ordered CBD's & "blue dolphins" with nachos with polo. Happy hour after 10PM needs to be clarified for the late night crowd. Keep it simplistic as the other "Happy Hour" menu for Monday thru Friday 3PM-6PM!! Share later about CBD refresher (hint is splash of ?)

Haven't been to Yard House in years, possibly even a decade. Went out with the girls and the Jambalaya was calling my name. Service was great and super fast. It was a little dark for me but I understand it mixed with the ambiance of the place. Ordered the queso dip for the appetizer and it was your average Joe, nothing special. Entree came out fast and loved it. The Jambalaya with linguine had the perfect amount of seasoning. The noodle to meat ratio was great. I would definitely come back just for this.

Always great food, great ambiance and always great service. Today we stopped by for lunch & shared the chicken nachos, bbq bacon cheddar burger & jambalaya w/linguine noodles. And of course, we'll be back

If you go to Yard House during Happy Hour, you're doing it right. The deals are fantastic--about 50% off appetizers, which honestly makes it hard not to overorder. The appetizers alone are more than filling. The lettuce wraps are fresh and satisfying, and the ahi poke nachos were a standout--light, flavorful, and perfectly done. We also had sashimi, which was surprisingly good for a casual spot. Highly recommend stopping by during the week for Happy Hour. Great value, solid food, and an easy win if you want to eat well without blowing your budget.

If I'm being honest I don't like coming here because it just gets RIDICULOUSLY packed. We had a party of two and were seated almost immediately. Our waitress was very attentive and super nice! We only had apps and a few drinks so it was a short time but honestly I have no complaints.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch after getting a massage across the street. We were greeted the moment we walked in the door and seated in less then a minute. The hostess was friendly and cute, and our server was very friendly and on it. Glasses never went empty, food came out hot and quick, and he was happy to bring me a couple extras I asked for. Everything was clean. Menus clean, table clean, floors looked good. It's a lively place with people laughing and having a good time. I'm not usually big on trendy spots and Yard House feels a little trendy, but it's one that I actually like. I ordered the spicy tuna stack. Fresh ahi, avocado, edamame, seaweed, all balanced out with the sauce around the plate. Fish was cold and fresh, avocado just right, no mush. My wife got the poke nachos. Crispy wonton chips with ahi, avocado, green onions, nori strips and creamy sauce. Nothing soggy. It was a good plate. Bottom line, Yard House Fresno did not disappoint. Great service, clean environment, and fresh food. One of those places I'll keep coming back Poke is pronounced poh-kay (like you're saying "OK" but with a P at the front).

The biggest variety of food you'll find in Fresno that's for sure! Genres of food for the whole family but don't get me wrong these aren't family prices! Good date night atmosphere but always pretty packed, although that doesn't mean it will be a long wait for the food because the kitchen is always speedy! Found out they serve dark horse so I'll be coming back for that now! Miguel's queso dip is my all time fav! Beware- it's in the middle of river park so parking IS river park parking and can get very frustrating on fridays and weekends!

It's been a minute since we visited. Yooo YH hasn't missed a beat. If anything just come for the beer menu alone. Couple that with great food & service U get a great experience dining out! 5 starz well deserved.

First time at Yard house and I have to say I wasn't impressed. We ordered the Chicken Nachos and everything was just piled on top. It was sloppy and had no presentation. It was severely over cooked because the cheese was brown in some spots. The service was really good though. My Tokyo Tea gave me a tummy ache and the bartenders did everything they could to make it right. They were great BTW. The ambiance is nice but it was very loud and the music was just blasting. I would like to say I'll be back but probably not.

My favorite spot for happy hour. They do get really busy so plan accordingly. Sometimes the waits can be long. My last visit I went with my boys and we had the best server. She was friendly and very attentive. Our food came out within 15 minutes. We ordered pizza, chicken tenders, fries and boneless wings. Their pizza looked a little extra crispy that day but my son said it was delicious. Their wings and tender were cooked perfectly. All of this was on happy hour and I spent less then 30 bucks which is a steal in my eyes. They also have plenty of beers and other drinks on happy hour. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu because everything is delicious.

    Steak bowl... excellent
    Dorene H.

Absolutely great experience at yard house. Always great service, amazing happy hour, and really good main entree dish. Today we enjoyed more than the happy hour items. I Ordered the steak bowl. It was really good with pieces of steak on top of brown rice and quinoa with sautéed vegetables mixed in. Slightly spicy but really flavorful. My hubby ordered the wiskey salmon plate and thoroughly enjoyed his as well. His plate came with a large grilled salmon on top of mashed potatoes and perfectly sautéed veggies. The entrees we ordered were as good as some other high end restaurants! The atmosphere is a bit loud and dark but we sat in a booth and were able to be comfortable and enjoy conversation. It did get busy after we sat down with lots of families. Probably because they really have one of the best happy hours in town! We'll definitely be back

Our first option was a long wait. So we decided to browse River park and choose yard house today. 25 minutes wait got seat, water was served and order was taken quickly. Wait a bit for food coz it's come at same time. I love the salad and ahi appetizer the steak bowl tastes too sweet for me. Packed as always but service was always good.

A recent visit here had us waiting a long time for our mains. From ordering to being placed on the table, it took 30-minutes... my wife and I both ordered salads. Our drinks and appetizer came out quickly. We ordered the pistachio crusted calamari which is amazing and is a must order. It comes with their house aioli sauce which is delicious! I ordered the entree sesame shrimp salad and added tri-tip steak. This salad was huge and filled with chopped cabbage, sesame shrimp, cilantro, ginger marinated shrimp, crispy wontons, carrots, peanuts, and miso sesame dressing. Crunchy, filling, and full of flavor, this salad definitely eats like a full meal. To be honest, I didn't need the extra steak, but it was cooked perfectly. My wife's bistro salad was very lackluster; basically just a small side salad. But for $15 we figured she's at least get something a little more substantial. No sweet potatoes, no dried cranberries, and pumpkin seeds. It was literally just lettuce and cheese, see the added pics. She did order a side of steak as well. Pismo's is great spot and they make a mean martini, but they do need a little help with their timing.

This is my first time at a Lazy Dog, so I have a lot to consider!…read more First, the overall ambiance and environment are great! I like the decor and the theme, which I might call "casual country/ranch." The layout is nice, with a prominent bar as the central axis of the "wagon wheel" of seating, and additional seating in lower-level dining areas and on the patio as well. They also have an open kitchen concept, which adds a nice dynamic of watching the chefs at work. The hostess was pleasant and quickly seated me, and the server was right behind her. The server, Eric, who was very efficient in all his work, quickly took my drink order (China Mist iced tea) while I finalized my food order. I had found some intriguing items online while scoping out my plan of attack before arriving here on a road trip stopover, but I found something in the paper menu that changed some of my mind. So, I settled on the original idea of Crispy Deviled Eggs (lightly fried, topped with smoked paprika and bacon candy) and switched to a Grilled 5-Cheese Sandwich (cheddar, Swiss, mozzarella, Jack, on Parmesan sourdough toast), with no side and a chopped wedge salad added (plus $5), "86" the bacon. The food came quickly, and I had to try the eggs first, of course! They were indeed crunchy, and the egg white part (which is the only fried part; the stuffing is placed later) was not too rubbery, as I may have thought, given that it was boiled and then fried. The stuffing was tasty, as well (although not as good as MY homemade eggs! ). The grilled cheese was ooey-gooey, and the cheesy (although I thought I tasted some light garlic?) toasted bread was a nice change, and with the assorted cheeses, those cheese flavors all worked together nicely. And the salad, which I did eat "first" (after an initial egg sampling for official Yelp business!), was fresh and generous, and well-appointed with red onion and blue cheese crumbles. The only complaint, such as it is, is that the salad bowl would not hold still! It was very slippery on the table (it seemed like a porcelain-covered metal), so I had to anchor it with a finger while the fork rummaged through the salad. But a minor hiccup in an otherwise great meal. All the food was great, and I took some home as it was a bit too much for me. I will be back for those other menu items I saw, and I'm glad there are other locations closer to the north, where I live, but how have I not heard of this place?!?!?! A NEW favorite!
