Shared a Three Taco Combo plate with a friend. First off, there was a lot of "spicy" in the description on the menu and we did not find any of the spicy items spicy. My favorite was the Crispy Korean Chicken. Nicely crisped with a sweet and salty flavor. The Beer-Battered Fish was also really good. Fish piece was bigger than the tortillas. It was crispy and the fresh toppings helped cut the slight greasiness of it. I did not try the Cumin Chili Shrimp. The rice and beans were okay. We asked to sit outside since it was a nice night out. I came to Yard House for lunch and had a bit of a mixed experience. I originally ordered the lobster garlic noodle and honestly it just did not hit for me. Something about the taste was off and I couldn't get into it, which was disappointing because I had heard good things about it. I ended up switching my order to the chicken and waffles, and that completely saved the meal. It was so good. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. I got the spicy syrup on the side along with regular syrup, which was the perfect move. I also tried their garlic truffle fries and those were amazing, easily some of the best fries I've had. Their ranch is really good too, which made it even better. Shoutout to the hostess for being so kind and helpful when I asked to switch dishes. They didn't charge me for the pasta, which I really appreciated. I was definitely sad about the lobster pasta because I was excited for it, but overall I still had a really good experience. They have some great happy hour deals, but it does get busy--we came around 4 PM and were seated easily, but by 5 PM there was already a line out the door. Happy hour includes half off select appetizers and pizzas, plus $2 off beers and cocktails. We ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and the chicken nachos. For drinks, I got the Grey Goose strawberry mule, which was delicious but very sweet. After about 5-10 minutes once the ice melted and diluted it a bit, it was perfect. Unfortunately, the buffalo chicken pizza was a miss. The chicken was very dry and overcooked, and we didn't even finish half a slice. On the other hand, the chicken nachos were excellent--huge portion size and very tasty. Between the three of us, we demolished the entire plate. If you go to Yard House during Happy Hour, you're doing it right. The deals are fantastic--about 50% off appetizers, which honestly makes it hard not to overorder. Haven't been to Yard House in years, possibly even a decade. Went out with the girls and the Jambalaya was calling my name. Service was great and super fast. It was a little dark for me but I understand it mixed with the ambiance of the place. Ordered the queso dip for the appetizer and it was your average Joe, nothing special. The red dipping sauce didn't help much either--it tasted more like salsa than a sauce that complemented the calamari. I also tried the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. The tanginess was very strong and gave the pizza an overly sour taste that overpowered the other flavors. The chicken itself was also a little hard and dry, which made the pizza less enjoyable. On the positive side, the service was good. The staff was attentive and pleasant throughout our visit. She was friendly and very attentive. Our food came out within 15 minutes. We ordered pizza, chicken tenders, fries and boneless wings. It was severely over cooked because the cheese was brown in some spots. The service was really good though. I went for happy hour. I bought drinks and food for my friends. I cashed out and we moved to the bar. When I came back from the restroom my friend told me that someone told him that they weren't going to serve me anymore. I was shocked. I asked to speak with the manager. He told me I had too much to drink. I reassured him that I did not have all those drinks and I had bought them for my friends. Keep in mind, I was the only one they cut off. I asked him again why they wouldn't serve me. He then said, " there is a guy who comes in, has drinks and gets violent". I told him I didn't know who he was talking about. I asked him if anybody complained about me being rude or disrespectful. He said, " No, all the servers said you have been pleasant." I asked if I am being loud. He said, "No". Went for a night out with friends and it was my husband's birthday. My friend and I wanted something light so we each order from the under 700 calories menu. She had the cilantro lime chicken and I had the chicken bowl. My chicken bowl was great with veggies cooked just right and juicy chicken on top. She said her chicken was dry, but I tasted it and it had amazing flavor and a really generous portion of chicken. I would definitely get that next time. We each had a drink, but she doesn't like the taste of alcohol so the waiter recommended the Malibu Peach, which actually has cherry vodka in it and tastes like fruit punch. She loved it. The complimentary cake for my husband's birthday was a nice touch. Service was great with us being checked on several times by multiple people, even though it was a slammed Friday night. Had the best afternoon yap session with my cousin over a couple drinks at Yard House. I'm a sucker for the Lavender Drop, and they never miss here. My cousin ordered the watermelon margarita with a sugar rim and it was just as good. For appetizers, the cheese curds are a MUST. They came out super fresh, hot, and perfectly crispy. The parm fries are another can't-skip item, especially if you're into truffle and garlic. Definitely the move to start your meal. Of course I did the classic thing and remembered to take a picture of my food after it was already halfway gone I ordered the stacked turkey club, and my cousin had the lobster garlic noodles. I've been going to Yard House for years. While majority of my visits have been good (7 out of 10), there has been times where the service has been lacking. The review below is based on a 6/4 visit. Service: Came in during around 11pm just after a HS graduation. I wasn't expecting much as I anticipated that there's a chance we would be waiting forever but wasn't terrible at all. We had to split our party of 8 into two tables as they stated wait would've been an hour or so while two groups would just be around 15-20 minutes. We ended up doing the later, luckily, we were seated booths just behind each other but was seated 15 minutes after each group. Our wait staff was attentive and took our orders prompt with an average food turnaround. 4 of 5 stars Food/Offering: We would normally start of with the usual appetizers: Sliders, Ahi poke, Calamari. In addition, my guests ordered BBQ and Chicken Strips. The food has been consistent and most likely prepped ahead thus the fast turnaround. The drinks at the time were margaritas and beers on tap. Some drinks were on happy hour so that helped a little bit. 4 of 5 stars Overall: Not a lot of places north of Fresno are open until 1am so this was more of a hail mary to satisfy our hunger and unwind with some drinks. They do not accept reservations but they could guestimate waiting times if you call. The place is always loud with animated drunkards but they are mostly controlled (aka no fighting). A vast beer selection from sours to IPAs. I like going here, but if you are out and about around 8pm, there are better places to choose from. read more

My boyfriend and I have always enjoyed coming to Yard House, so we decided to bring our friends there to celebrate his birthday. We drove an hour to get there and another hour to be seated. Unfortunately, what should have been a fun evening turned into a very disappointing experience. Everyone in our group brought their physical ID except me. We had only been sitting at our table for about 10 minutes, and our drinks were still completely full. After I took a sip of my boyfriend's drink, our server asked to see my ID. We completely understood, and when I explained that I had forgotten it, he told me I could show him a picture of it. I did exactly as he instructed, and he didn't say anything before walking away. A few minutes later, the manager came to our table and told us we had to leave because I didn't have my physical ID. We understood the policy and didn't argue. We even offered to have all alcoholic drinks taken away since we were there to celebrate and enjoy the food more than anything, but he refused. He also ripped my brother's drink out of his hand even though he had his ID, which made the situation even more upsetting. What made this experience so upsetting wasn't the policy--it was the way we were treated. We apologized, accepted the situation, and were prepared to leave, yet the manager continued to yell at us. To make matters worse, several staff members stood nearby watching the interaction, with some even clapping, which made the situation feel humiliating and unnecessary. As a manager myself, I completely understand the importance of following alcohol laws and company policies. I have no issue with being asked to leave because I forgot my ID. However, there was absolutely no reason to escalate the situation or speak to us so disrespectfully when we were cooperative from the beginning. As managers, we are supposed to de-escalate situations, not make them worse. We have always enjoyed dining at Yard House, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I hope management addresses how situations like this are handled in the future so no other guests have to go through such an embarrassing and unprofessional experience. read more

Before taking a family friend to airport we stopped for dinner. Friday night 15 minute wait for first available well worth it. Alondra was our server and did a great job. I looked around to the other tables, same thing. The menus are constantly sticky, and the floor is littered with stains, crumbs, and pieces of glass.
