WOW!! My first thoughts and impression when first walking into Branch was just that... WOW!! The place was packed! A wait line out the door! Not one person complaining about anything! Fresh, hot food on the tables, people laughing, talking, sharing both food and conversation.... it was incredibly inviting! The smells from the kitchen were addicting - whatever that was, I wanted it! As a party of 5, both Steph and Angela worked for us while working another 8 or 9 tables. Still, service was fast, professional and, to top it all off, fun! Everyone at the table ordered something different from all the other orders. We tried each other's eggs, meat, pancakes, shrimp, grits, salmon... all of it! The biscuits and gravy are a meal of their own! My Smoked Salmon Benny was both hearty and delicate. How is that possible, right? They did it!! For the first time in YEARS, I couldn't finish breakfast! At the other tables, I witnessed Beef and ham steaks, with eggs, potatoes and toast nearly hanging over the plates... stacks of pancakes bigger than the plates!! Portions aren't the modest little tid-bits served at other establishments... these were real, old fashioned, traditional meals meant to fill!! Ladies and gentlemen... I can think of 6 in the past 14 years since I've lived in the area that have come and gone... from classy Italian to authentic Peruvian, a small bar and an evening patio scene to a breakfast only place, the a couple waffle shops, and now... let's talk about Branch. Immediately I noticed how clean the place was. Simple, smelled nice and spotless! Hey this is a huge improvement already. The crowd was thick, we waited 20-30 minutes on a Saturday at 10:00am. That's a good thing. Once we sat down, we were asked what we wanted for drinks. And a minute later another waiter asked us if we would like to order drinks , then a 3rd... seconds before the drinks were brought out. Lol I ordered the breakfast sandwich, served with potatoes or hash browns and asked the waitress what she recommended... my daughter was getting hashbrowns with her meal already and the young lady suggested the potatoes and so I took her suggestion. Let me tell you this, that sandwich which is probably one of the most common things on a breakfast menu anywhere, came out so unique and interesting to me that I must highly recommend it. The toasted bread was like a spicy garlic sourdough that was strong and powerful. The spice was right for me and I even asked for the sriracha sauce on the side. The bacon was thick and plenty, the eggs perfectly scrambled, and the potatoes were delicious and so were my daughter's hashbrowns by the way. I loved my breakfast sandwich and also ate half my Mom's Reuben sandwich which was just loaded with corned beef!! Overall I thought the breakfast sandwich and potatoes were pretty good. The potatoes had good spices to them and were cooked well. The sandwich also had buttery sourdough bread and just the right amount of cheese and eggs. They were generous with the bacon but the bacon was not crispy. The sauce they used on the sandwich was a little too peppery for my tastes but overall the sandwich and potatoes were pretty good. I would return to try other things. My wife and I decided on splitting the shrimp and grits but with poached eggs and my sister got chilaquiles. She attempted to order a jalapeño popper appetizer, but the server came back and said they were out. Took a bit to get our plates, but both were photo worthy! Tried this place on a Friday morning. We were seated right away, however service was slow. Took a long time to take out order, give us our food/silverware then to give us our check when we were done. My friend had heard about this place and mentioned wanting to try it when we were discussing where to go to breakfast today. At 9:30am on a Sunday there was maybe a 15-20 minute wait? We were greeted by a very friendly host, and later the two people who served us were just as friendly and attentive. It's located at Herndon and Marks, where Parma was located maybe about 15 years ago? And maybe Limon was there for a while after that (both those restaurants moved multiple times so I could be confused.) It's the same layout I remember from when it was Parma: a small dining room with a simple layout and just a few tables. Nothing to write home about -- it seems to lack a little in decor or personality, but the dining room was pleasant enough. Both my friend and I enjoyed our breakfast. I had the American plate with very high quality bacon, scrambled eggs, the country potatoes, and then I requested to substitute fruit for the toast and got a beautiful dish of berries. My friend had the chile verde eggs, hash browns and toast. Her one suggestion was to include more chile verde sauce with the meat (which looked a bit dry). It was still good though. The food seemed all very high quality, fresh and homemade. Definitely not the typical (at an IHOP or Denny's) frozen food. So I'd definitely come here again. It kind of reminded me a bit of Patio Cafe but seemed to have a bit more variety. The coffee was good but I never was able to get a refill because I was having decaf and they never got around to bringing it. I'd have loved a refill. Overall, the friendliness of the staff, the high quality of the food, and the good prices for what you got made this a five star experience for breakfast. This place was pretty busy when we got in (Saturday around 10:30AM). We put our names down on the waitlist and it took just about 5 minutes before we were seated. There was a small mixup with seating but regardless, we were promptly seated once checking back in. They took our drinks and food very quickly after. The drinks came out in about 3ish minutes and the food was about 10 minutes after. Everything came out quick, fresh, and hot! Great service, especially being so busy! The food was superb!! The burrito was very good, and the salsa made it even better. My personal favorite was the French toast! I wish I had tried their special PB&J French toast, but the blueberry pancake was also a great choice. The restaurant itself was a little decorated for the holidays, but the inside is quite small so only so much could fit especially with how busy they were. Tried this new spot over the weekend. I joined the waitlist at 11:35 a.m., when the waitlist stated it was a 35 minute wait. We arrived and checked in shortly after, but didn't have food in front of us until 1:20 p.m. So, the wait definitely is worth it IF the food merits the wait, but It was just OK for me. We had to ask for spoons from three different people to eat our food when it finally arrived. Nothing really special except for the pancakes sausage on a stick! Those were really good! Took me back to when I was in high school. I believe the hot chocolate I ordered was made with water and not milk, but I could be wrong. So, that too took me back to my high school days when we used to buy hot chocolate for $1 out of a styrofoam cup from the English teacher. I ordered the Benny Bowl because the hollandaise sauce was supposed to be the highlight of the dish atop the poached eggs, but honestly it was not that flavorful in my humble opinion. I was there Monday morning for a first time group meeting of about twelve or more and I ordered the corned beef hash, potatoes, eggs and toast. I have to say the whole experience was WONDERFUL. I recommend the place. When the food came, it was a large plateful of cubed corned beef, potatoes, cabbage, eggs and toast. Despite the number of people in the restaurant, the service was friendly, timely and the food delivery came out surprisingly fast considering the place was packed. The food was in good portions and tasted delicious. The waitresses were smiling, gracious and relaxed, which was amazing considering the number patrons and activity. We visited Branch Breakfast Co. on Labor Day, not realizing it had just opened. The online check-in feature was a nice touch, but we still had to confirm once we arrived, and the wait ended up being about 30 minutes (it's a small, cozy space, so on busy mornings it gets loud and fills quickly). The staff was the highlight, so sweet, attentive, and working hard to keep up with the holiday rush. The menu isn't huge yet, but it has a good mix of breakfast staples with a small lunch side. One thing to note: no alcohol at this point, so don't come expecting mimosas (yet!). For food, I tried the Benny Bowl, very tasty and flavorful, though the hollandaise and sour cream together were richer than I prefer (next time I'd ask for sauce on the side). My husband went with the Breakfast Brunch Platter. The French toast was thick and classic, nothing fancy but still enjoyable. I think the stuffed French toast on the menu might be the move next time for something a little more fun. Overall, this place shows promise. I didn't want to write this review because this place is so good but they deserve the credit! The chefs here know what they're doing. I've been here 5+ times and I'm not a breakfast fan. The Banana pancakes are SOOO GOOD. The coffee is amazing since it's from The Otherside cafe. Their carrot cake pancakes were great. I do also love their Benny bowl. The portions are huge and definitely shareable. Their chorizo breakfast burger is different but has good flavor. We love this place and hope they'll open another location or maybe a bigger location! We came on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm and the place was starting to wind down so It didn't seem busy at all. My Second time coming here and this time I ordered the Shrimp (tails removed) and Grits. The plate comes with a healthy serving of Grits topped with 2 eggs to you liking, with linguica and shrimp and a drizzling of a sort of sweet red sauce. I would have preferred it to be a little less sweet and just a bit more savory. I wasn't spicy at all for those that may be sensitive to spice. The first time I went with family with a party of 4 we were seated quickly. Our order was taken when we were ready and we didn't feel rushed. This restaurant was my backup plan and I'm glad we went here. The service was excellent, Esther was our server. They don't have a big menu for breakfast but my husband and I both love chili Verde. So we had chili Verde omelettes, with crispy hashbrowns, and I had wheat toast and he had an English muffin. His muffin was thicker than most, and it was very good. I wish they would just put a little bit more chili Verde on top but the omelette was nice and fluffy. They put pickled onions and cilantro on top of the omelette, which was a nice touch. They need to work on decor inside a bit- we were laughing because they have a single photo hung in the entire restaurant and once we noticed it, it felt a bit odd. In terms of food- my dining partners probably would have given this a 3/5; one had the breakfast burrito and he said it was good, but it was imbalanced in terms of egg vs potato vs meat and was super egg heavy. The other had the normal breakfast plate and said it was "fine". But I got the biscuits and gravy and to be honest it was some of the best sausage gravy I've ever had in a restaurant. Real chunks of sausage, seasoned extremely well, and just all around flavorful - not that bland slop you tend to get at most restaurants. The grits were quite thin, whereas it was almost soupy-looking. I prefer my grits much thicker, so the texture really threw me off. I liked the Asian-fusion flavor, but it was overwhelming the dish as a whole because of the runny grits. I would definitely not order this again. My husband and brother both ordered the "benny bowl," and were happy with their choice. The coffee is nice and strong and they offer flavored creamers. I like to support small, local, and family-ran businesses, so I'm keeping Branch in our breakfast rotation when we're in town...I'll just try something else on the menu. read more
