Unlike red apple with their lukewarm potatoes/gravy. 4) Music is low volume background. You CAN actually have a conversation and enjoy folks if eating with others. 5) NO TVS!!! 6) Limited menu help ensures QUALITY and attention to detail. 7) Subtle complexity of flavors that REALLY differentiates from the crowd. 8) NOTHING is over salted. Each was cooked perfectly and they didn't include all the GREASE from cooking both of those up! The poached eggs were fantastic and... 4) Both the hollandaise sauce and the country gravy had deep complexity and subtle interesting differences. Again, something missing from most breakfast places in Fresno. 5) Today, I ATE the actual biscuits that came with the gravy. Something I don't think I've done for YEARS! They tasted fresh, textured and were NOT SALTY like lessor quality options. 6) Pricing is so reasonable! 4/10/26 Time for an update! Especially since seeing they have a special on carrot cake pancakes! Yummy! Called & ordered that & a ham veggie egg white omelette with salsa and hash browns. The worker was great. Happy to get it set up. Said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Arrived!! Greeted, very kind worker, paid for it and waited....definitely, very busy, but that's a good thing! My family and I chose this spot to celebrate my brother's birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. We called early Sunday morning to put our name on the waitlist, arrived on time, and were seated about 40 minutes later. It was a Sunday rush, so we understood and didn't mind the wait. We were still looking forward to enjoying a nice birthday brunch together. Once seated, however, we waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order. We had an 8-month-old baby with us and requested a bowl of fruit to come out right away, along with some breakfast poppers as appetizers. The fruit took about 20 minutes and two reminders before it finally arrived. Our main dishes followed another 20 minutes later. During that time, we repeatedly tried to get coffee and water refills but had no luck. When the food did arrive, it came out one plate at a time -- for a party of seven adults -- and the appetizers actually arrived last. By then, the coffee was cold and everyone's patience was running low. The food itself was fine -- not bad, but nothing particularly memorable either. After we finished eating, we again struggled to get anyone's attention. No one came to check on us, offer refills, or bring the check. We eventually flagged someone down and asked to split the bill three ways. Although we were seven adults and one infant, we were charged a large party fee and an automatic 20% gratuity. When we politely asked about the large party charge -- noting that we had a baby in our count -- we were met with a rude response: "Well, did the baby eat?" We were also asked why we were so upset, when we simply had a reasonable question. Even after that interaction, we waited again with our payment books visibly standing on the table and our cards sticking out, but no one came. We had to flag someone down once more just to process the payment so we could leave. What was meant to be a pleasant birthday brunch turned into an underwhelming and frustrating experience marked by poor service and a lack of attentiveness. We were so ready to leave that we decided to take the birthday cake with us instead of cutting it there. This isn't about the 20% gratuity -- we are generous tippers and often leave more than 20%. Nobody really checked on us throughout the meal. I ordered the chilaquiles. I thought the presentation was nice, it was a large portion and very pretty. The flavor was decent but a bit on the spicy side. My mom tried the carrot cake pancakes. The frosting on the pancakes was really good and not super sweet, however the carrot cake flavor was very subtle. I don't think I would go back. My friend had heard about this place and mentioned wanting to try it when we were discussing where to go to breakfast today. At 9:30am on a Sunday there was maybe a 15-20 minute wait? We were greeted by a very friendly host, and later the two people who served us were just as friendly and attentive. It's located at Herndon and Marks, where Parma was located maybe about 15 years ago? And maybe Limon was there for a while after that (both those restaurants moved multiple times so I could be confused.) It's the same layout I remember from when it was Parma: a small dining room with a simple layout and just a few tables. Nothing to write home about -- it seems to lack a little in decor or personality, but the dining room was pleasant enough. Both my friend and I enjoyed our breakfast. I had the American plate with very high quality bacon, scrambled eggs, the country potatoes, and then I requested to substitute fruit for the toast and got a beautiful dish of berries. My friend had the chile verde eggs, hash browns and toast. Her one suggestion was to include more chile verde sauce with the meat (which looked a bit dry). It was still good though. The food seemed all very high quality, fresh and homemade. Definitely not the typical (at an IHOP or Denny's) frozen food. So I'd definitely come here again. It kind of reminded me a bit of Patio Cafe but seemed to have a bit more variety. The coffee was good but I never was able to get a refill because I was having decaf and they never got around to bringing it. I'd have loved a refill. Overall, the friendliness of the staff, the high quality of the food, and the good prices for what you got made this a five star experience for breakfast. Tried this new spot over the weekend. I joined the waitlist at 11:35 a.m., when the waitlist stated it was a 35 minute wait. We arrived and checked in shortly after, but didn't have food in front of us until 1:20 p.m. So, the wait definitely is worth it IF the food merits the wait, but It was just OK for me. We had to ask for spoons from three different people to eat our food when it finally arrived. Nothing really special except for the pancakes sausage on a stick! Those were really good! Took me back to when I was in high school. I believe the hot chocolate I ordered was made with water and not milk, but I could be wrong. So, that too took me back to my high school days when we used to buy hot chocolate for $1 out of a styrofoam cup from the English teacher. This place was pretty busy when we got in (Saturday around 10:30AM). We put our names down on the waitlist and it took just about 5 minutes before we were seated. There was a small mixup with seating but regardless, we were promptly seated once checking back in. They took our drinks and food very quickly after. The drinks came out in about 3ish minutes and the food was about 10 minutes after. Everything came out quick, fresh, and hot! Great service, especially being so busy! The food was superb!! The burrito was very good, and the salsa made it even better. My personal favorite was the French toast! We visited Branch Breakfast Co. on Labor Day, not realizing it had just opened. The online check-in feature was a nice touch, but we still had to confirm once we arrived, and the wait ended up being about 30 minutes (it's a small, cozy space, so on busy mornings it gets loud and fills quickly). The staff was the highlight, so sweet, attentive, and working hard to keep up with the holiday rush. The menu isn't huge yet, but it has a good mix of breakfast staples with a small lunch side. One thing to note: no alcohol at this point, so don't come expecting mimosas (yet!). For food, I tried the Benny Bowl, very tasty and flavorful, though the hollandaise and sour cream together were richer than I prefer (next time I'd ask for sauce on the side). My husband went with the Breakfast Brunch Platter. The French toast was thick and classic, nothing fancy but still enjoyable. I think the stuffed French toast on the menu might be the move next time for something a little more fun. Overall, this place shows promise. My experience at this place was horrible. It was a Saturday morning when my family and I decided to try a new place around the area. When we first got there, we had been standing by the check-in desk for about five minutes without being acknowledged. After a waiter noticed us, she said the wait was about 30-40 mins. So we decided to wait, since it was our first time in this place. After ordering our food and waiting for a while, I noticed there was a hair inside my son's burrito. When I called the waitress and told her about it she seemed a little embarrassed, Plus she was so in a hurry as she was to attend all the other ten tables around us. She apologized and asked if we wanted they could re make it again, and I asked to make sure that they would make a new one, and not give us the same burrito, and she said yes, that they would make a new one. And since that's what my son really wanted to eat, we decided to ask for another order of the same thing but to our surprise the second burrito also had another hair. At that point, the rest of my family had already almost finished eating and I felt disgusted by this place. I immediately asked my husband to ask for the check so that we could leave as soon as possible, so he did. The waitress seemed mad about it when we called her for the second time, and she went and got our ticket. Even though they did not charge full price for it, they still charged us half the price for only the burrito. I decided to share my experience as I have been a waitress before and I love to eat good food and experience new places all the time, especially when I don't have to cook at home, but the service and food were such a bad experience. I will never go back to this place. And due to this experience, I wouldn't even recommend it to my family or friends as I wouldn't want them to go through the same experience. My Second time coming here and this time I ordered the Shrimp (tails removed) and Grits. The plate comes with a healthy serving of Grits topped with 2 eggs to you liking, with linguica and shrimp and a drizzling of a sort of sweet red sauce. I would have preferred it to be a little less sweet and just a bit more savory. I wasn't spicy at all for those that may be sensitive to spice. The first time I went with family with a party of 4 we were seated quickly. Our order was taken when we were ready and we didn't feel rushed. This restaurant was my backup plan and I'm glad we went here. The service was excellent, Esther was our server. They don't have a big menu for breakfast but my husband and I both love chili Verde. So we had chili Verde omelettes, with crispy hashbrowns, and I had wheat toast and he had an English muffin. His muffin was thicker than most, and it was very good. I wish they would just put a little bit more chili Verde on top but the omelette was nice and fluffy. They put pickled onions and cilantro on top of the omelette, which was a nice touch. They need to work on decor inside a bit- we were laughing because they have a single photo hung in the entire restaurant and once we noticed it, it felt a bit odd. In terms of food- my dining partners probably would have given this a 3/5; one had the breakfast burrito and he said it was good, but it was imbalanced in terms of egg vs potato vs meat and was super egg heavy. The other had the normal breakfast plate and said it was "fine". But I got the biscuits and gravy and to be honest it was some of the best sausage gravy I've ever had in a restaurant. Would you go back to a restaurant that has good food but absolutely horrible service? That is my dilemma here. There's nothing wrong with the food, but the employees have really bad customer service. I recently went and I took my puppy with me. We had to sit outside to dine which I was aware of and totally fine with. The issue is that nobody came to take my order or check on me. I sat out there for 15-20 minutes in the 100 degree weather with my puppy before I ultimately decided to just leave. To top it off, the older woman employee is extremely rude and makes snarky comments. The last time I was in, she saw that we were finished eating and waiting to pay, but she ignored us and went around the room to close everyone else out instead. When she walked by, I asked if we could have the tab and she made a snarky comment about me being impatient. Service was stellar and 5+ star worthy. I love when a business is family-owned and operated, and they have the littles ones working! Teaching them good work ethics and skills at a young age was refreshing to see. They for sure earned their tips! Service from the adults was friendly and attentive. The menu has standard breakfast items, but there are a few entrees with international flavor twists. I ordered the shrimp & grits, but it was served with a sweet chili sauce, sesame, jalapeno garnish, and pieces of hot link (or smoked sausage), so there were a lot of different flavor combos and a spicy kick. The grits were quite thin, whereas it was almost soupy-looking. I prefer my grits much thicker, so the texture really threw me off. I liked the Asian-fusion flavor, but it was overwhelming the dish as a whole because of the runny grits. I would definitely not order this again. My husband and brother both ordered the "benny bowl," and were happy with their choice. The coffee is nice and strong and they offer flavored creamers. I like to support small, local, and family-ran businesses, so I'm keeping Branch in our breakfast rotation when we're in town...I'll just try something else on the menu. read more

First Timer. 10:24 Sunday morning. Place was packed! Was put on the wait list. Outside patio area had sitting/eating area with umbrellas. Being that it was already 80+ degrees the umbrellas was life saver. A gentleman asked if we wanted something to drink. We asked for water. We found out the gentlemen, Bret was the owner. He was very personable and shared this place has only open for 2 1/2 months. Food: Branch breakfast platter: Good portion Pancakes were doughy not fluffy. Bacon, sausage and hash brown were good. 9/10 Chile verde omelette w/ biscuits and gravy. Food portion was good. Omelette was fluffy and full of Oaxaca cheese. Chile verde was minimal in portion. Taste was enjoyable, didn't have the tanginess of tomatillos or the slight hint of spiciness. 9/10. Service: 9/10 Ambiance: 10/10 for a small place, ambiance was nice, was not loud. Bathrooms: 10/10 clean Overall Experience: A new, bustling spot with a very personable owner. Standout Features: Excellent service and a great ambiance, even when it's busy. The patio with umbrellas sounds perfect for a hot day. Room for Improvement: The pancakes could be fluffier, and the chile verde could use more of that classic tangy, spicy flavor.
