Great 50s -style diner. The food was great with perfect size portions. I ordered "The Hit Parade" two eggs with hamburger patty. I added grilled onions and mushrooms on the patty. It came with breakfast potatoes and toast. Our waitress was pleasant. Always came to the table with a smile.

I was out on a sales call and decided to stop here, my client ordered a tuna salad, for me, the avacado burger called out to me, Soooooo I ordered it. The service was average, and the place seemed clean, it's worth another busy when I'm in the area. ( Hamburgers are a personal opinion food)

Service is always great, but the quality of the food was lacking when it came to their breakfast platters.

Divine and delicious eating! Even better than mother's cooking but don't tell her ! Worth the price and worth the wait if it's busy, which it usually is because the morning workplace breakfast crowd knows where the good food is located ! I went in really needing good coffee and breakfast, and I was honestly shocked by how amazing everything turned out to be. The coffee was incredibly good, far better than I expected, and the place itself felt warm and cozy from the moment I walked in. For breakfast, I got the French toast and asked my server to make it look pretty, and she absolutely delivered. It looked beautiful and tasted just as amazing. I also tried the Spanish omelette with tomatoes, bell peppers, salsa and sour cream, and it was delicious. I ordered it with a side of fruit, and everything was so fresh! I then tried the chicken bacon ranch sandwich on sourdough with a side of potatoes and oh my god....the potatoes were unbelievable. I have no idea what they put in them, but I could not get enough. It was buttery and crispy and everything! The sandwich was too good! The service was great from start to finish. I arrived early in the morning, and even then a few tables were already filled, and more people kept coming in as we sat there. It was clearly a popular spot, and after eating there, I completely understand why.

Lately, I've been indulging in chicken-fried steak, and it's now my sole focus. Although I'm not a frequent visitor to this area, today was a remarkable find! The steak was freshly prepared, the potatoes achieved crispy perfection, and the eggs were like fluffy clouds of delight. However, let me emphasize the salsa-it is extraordinary! I even witnessed the chef preparing it fresh upon my arrival. I have just a small amount left, and there is no way I can leave it behind. After all, waste not, want not! Everyone I encountered was exceptionally warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The restaurant was immaculately clean-trust me, I pay attention to details, especially in restrooms! It exuded a fresh aroma and was impeccably tidy. I am eagerly counting down the minutes

But for my plate, almost $20 that had me scratching my head. At that price point you're almost certainly better off going over to red Apple. I now remember why this place is not something I go to more than once every 7 years or so. Fresno continues to be challenged by executing a soft and fluffy omelette that is moist! I stood patiently, fully understanding how busy the restaurant was. However, as I waited, the hostess continued to call up other guests (four separate times) without any acknowledgment of my presence. We even made eye contact more than once, yet there was no greeting, smile, or indication that she noticed I was waiting. This happened with two different hostesses. Eventually, my fiancé stepped forward near the register, but the hostess avoided eye contact entirely, staring at the screen instead. It wasn't until I finally spoke up and said I was there for a pickup that she acknowledged us -- and suddenly seemed to notice the 6'2" man standing right in front of her. Fifteen minutes went by before I received my food, and I had to initiate the interaction myself. I was not greeted, not engaged, and my food l, which had been ready for some time; was soggy by the time I got it. The ranch inside was even warm from sitting too long. This was my fiancé's first time at this establishment, and unfortunately, he's now hesitant to return if this is the tone and level of service to expect. I understand being busy, truly. But making direct eye contact with a customer and choosing not to acknowledge them, not even with a simple "Hi, we'll be right with you," is disappointing and leaves a poor impression. Overall, the experience was less than stellar. I would have appreciated better communication and fresher food, but hopefully this feedback helps improve future service for others.

That is the year this fabulous café/airport waiting room/flight buildings, were built. In the café, they have an 'old school' counter to dine at along with two other rooms, with windows that face the arriving and departing aircraft. We saw a helicopter land, and several planes while we were there. Awesome! No music pumped in, like the old days, just the peaceful sound of contented conversation. Do check out the vintage waiting room that is clean, polished and sleek. The food quality is good. We had the ABC omelette and vegetable omelette, both that were topped with a type of enchilada sauce that made it tasty! You can have beans and tortillas as a choice with your breakfast. The beans taste homemade and are good also. Service is slow, so go when you have time to enjoy it. ;) It was peaceful, nostalgic and makes you feel like you are in a time warp. I would say it is an 'experience'. So much so, that I HAD to take a friend of mine there a few days later. . . She experienced the same feeling as I did. . . I believe you would too. Parking was easy, and the place has an old school charm about it. The old airport is a great spot. Business was good for a Monday at 11 am. Only 2 empty tables. Service was prompt for a busy place, too. I had the Alpha Bravo Charlie omelette, my wife had a cheeseburger, my father in law had eggs with chorizo and beans and rice. Others had a salad and some tacos I believe, and everyone loved their food. I'll be back to try more, and maybe take a flying lesson, too.
