Small hole in the wall at the end of the city's main road. Ample seating inside, we came around 5ish and the place was empty, no one up front greeting people to come in. No music playing and the tv was off, would have loved some ambience music in the room. There is some decor on the walls but plain and simple setting. We ordered pupusas, yucca plate and a salvadorian breakfast. Overall everything was pretty good. Pupusas had the queso from El Salvador, you could taste and smell it in them. The came out fresh off the grill with the caramelizad cheese on the side. (Yum) Curtido was good not spicy and regular tomato sauce, it was okay missing some salt. Yucca plate was a generous serving for the price. Everything appeared and tasted fresh. They offered cheese and sour creme for the salvadorian breakfast with your choice of queso fresco or queso duro (popular kind in El Salvador). Very authentic cheese and sour creme. I would def come back, prices were also reasonable. Came out to $50 bucks plus my sons hamburger and fries. lol and a water bottle. Lastly ordered the salvadorian horchata. I felt it was a bit watered down and missing some flavor. But it was drinkable. The lady said they are the owners of the other 2 locations. I use to go to the Mendota one in the early 2000's when there wasn't anything in Fresno. Glad to see they are branching out.

Caldo de res, pupusas, & menudo.

Great Caldo de Res, pupusas, and menudo. The service was prompt, homelike & friendly. The food was flavorful, and exactly what we were looking for. Will definitely be coming back!

We came in to order some pupusas which were great probably the best thing this restaurant has to offer. We have possibly the worst timing because while we're eating they were being serviced by a pest control team and I just couldn't fathom finishing my enchiladas which were 1.5/5.

First time I come, and will be coming back! I was searching for a place to eat, and this one came up and the number 1 place to eat in Kerman. I ordered two Pupusas revueltas, platanos con crema and beans. Super delicious, totally recommend this place. The only downside if you want to eat there, is there is no AC, only fans. But I was still able to eat comfortable

Michelada and pupusas. Fresh curtido and salsa to go with it.

I drive from Fresno just to get the pupusas from here! No longer have to drive all the way to Mendota. They taste amazing! I've been eating their pupusas for so many years

Food is excellent and people are so friendly. I got the fried fish. Makes me wish I had two stomachs.

I am always in the lookout of good pupusas. The salvador delicacy. Not every pupusa restaurant…read moremakes good ones. This is a truck and I found it on yelp. I could order on the phone so when we got out of our little business we went to pick up. At first I didn't know it was a food truck. But then when we got to the place we saw it. So when we got there they were making them and they didn't take that long to finish. They were good despite the look the taste was there. The salsa needed to be a little bit spicier. We were gladly surprised that they were good. I highly recommend. The price was modest.

Some of the Salvadorian offerings include: pupusas with combinations of cheese, garlic, mushrooms, squash, jalapeño, beans, pork, and rice; pastelitos (which are Salvadorian empanadas filled with minced meat and spices); yuca fries, caramelized bananas with cajeta (a rich caramel made from goat's milk) or banana empanadas coated in sugar. Mexican menu offerings include tacos, burritos, sopes, quesabirria tacos, gorditas, mulitas, huaraches (similar to a large, open-faced taco on a thick gordita-like base), and quesadillas. If you have little ones with less cultured tastebuds, Pupuseria Los Guanaquitos is happy to accommodate with their kids' menu featuring quesadillas, chicken nuggets, and fries. Our family tried a variety of items from the menu on our recent visit, including the revuelta (cheese, beans and pork), cheese and garlic, and cheese and jalapeño pupusas, the yuca fries, quesabirria tacos, and banana empanadas. My personal favorites with the cheese and jalapeño pupusas and the yuca fries. If yuca is new to you, the flavor is mild, and the texture is similar to that of a potato. It's sliced and fried with crispy layers surrounding it and a flavorful sauce is included on the side for dipping.
