My husband Yelped the area. We were reluctant to go because of reviews at 3.5.... So glad we chose to go. First it's adorable with a fountain outside with a log cabin look inside. Clean, and tastefully decorated. From the time we walked in, there were 3 people at the reception area waiting to seat us with friendly, welcoming smiles. Plenty of seating. The restaurant was a bit louder (lots of people!) but not so where we couldn't have conversation. We were immediately greeted by our waitress. Also very friendly. She kept our coffee full and kept returning to the table until we finally decided on the country fried steak to share. Delicious! We got it with the country potatoes and 6 small pancakes. We still left plenty of food on our plates when we left. So not only delicious the portions were plentiful for the both of us. All I can say is every staff I encountered were friendly, helpful and welcoming. I absolutely don't get the 3.5 stars. This place exceeded my expectations. Yay, happy that YFC has agreed to let our car club meet (and eat) there for the next several months while our usual place is being remodeled. We filled that entire restaurant and the few servers assigned to our group were on top of it. Water and drink refills, orders taken timely and food brought out in a reasonable amount of time. Well it's hard to diet when places like Yosemite Fall Cafe give you huge servings. Stop for breakfast today and service was quick and the food was served quick and hot. The ambiance is family oriented with regard to a lively vibe a little loud but hey people sounded like they were enjoying themselves. Restrooms probably could use some attention, parking was easy. I was skeptical at first to try their menudo and pozole they offer for their buffet menu, but as a picky Mexican cuisine person. I loved it, I actually loved both, almost the same taste and flavor as the one I make at home myself. I would say their breakfast buffet is better than their lunch buffet. I also got one of their main dishes, steak picadillo. The meat was tender and seasoned with enough flavor. The jalapeño was a nice touch. The flan was not that great, texture and flavor wise. Love this joint. Love the people. Sunnie is an awesome server. You can't go wrong with Andrew or Carla, either. Their dining hall has a large floor plan with plenty of space. The other room is also built for large parties. They keep their restrooms clean, which is a big deal in my book. I come here specifically to put Brown gravy on an omelette or scramble. Today it was a Denver Omelette with Hash browns. I also add the biscuits and sausage gravy, which is to die for. To put it simply, this is a meal you SHOULD NOT have more than once a month due to the rich (and sodium-filled) nature of the course. My son got the Link Sausage & Eggs with a Stack of Pancakes. I need you all to know, these are my FAVORITIST sausage links, ever. Prove me wrong. My other son got the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito with country potatoes and yummy beans. We came here the other night for father's day. Definitely not our normal type of dining experience. But having all of our daughters, and one acting a fool, it made sense to not go somewhere fancy. Everything started off great. Drinks came quickly. Their tortilla soup is SO good. Possibly the best I've had from anywhere! Then comes the meals. I ordered the salmon. It was actually cooked perfectly. Kudos to the chef. But my major complaint is, it was so full of bones. I picked out about 20 before I gave up and decided I was done with my meal. I dont think when you sit down to eat with your family, you should be picking bones out of your 25 dollar salmon. Call me crazy. But that's wild to me. 3 of my girls liked their food. My youngest got the Mac and cheese. But for 9 bucks.. the Kraft they made was gross. I liked the guy helping us. He was super pleasant. Busy. But still got the job done. I'm just stuck on how you csn mess up Kraft and a gazillion bones in my salmon. I'd give these guys another shot though. Id just order something different. read more

I enjoyed my breakfast on a recent Saturday. The last time I was here, about a year ago, I was a little disappointed. I think I had the menudo, which is usually really good. Anyway, on this visit, we had a few minutes wait to be seated. The owner came out, chatted with someone at the register and then sat us. He even took our drink orders. He is a really personable man, very friendly and obviously wanting customers to feel welcome. Our waiter had even better customer service. He was great about refilling coffee and checking in on us. He was prompt in taking our orders and our food came out quickly as well. At first I thought the portions were a little small but, really, it's just that other places give you too large of portions. I appreciated having a more reasonable serving without any food waste or more food than my belly actually needs. Prices have gone up but that's too be expected, literally everywhere. read more

A friend of mine wanted to go to try this place for dinner. I must say it is definitely underrated. We went on a Saturday night and didn't know that in their bar section of the restaurant they had a live band. I'm always a huge fan for live music so this was definitely a plus the service was a bit slow at first but once we got our orders in the food came out in great time I ordered the petite New York steak which came with a salad and choice of a big potato and vegetable. The state came out cooked to my liking however the potato was undercooked. They brought me additional sides to put on the potato and the green beans were great. My friends steak was undercooked and we had to ask the chef to cook it a little longer. They obliged and when the state came back she thoroughly enjoyed it. I definitely think I would try this place again for lunch or even for their brunch. read more

This is the best of all three locations. Has the best decor, vibe, and space. It has the largest dining and can accommodate large crowds so there's very little waiting. Food is excellent, we love the optional small pancakes as sides for breakfast. Haven't tried dinner or lunch menu but they did offer a full thanksgiving menu and usually have great specials. Staff is attentive and quick. Food is made to order so it comes out hot and fresh. read more

There is a special of six different hamburgers and fries for $10.99 each. When we got our bill, for some reason, it was $11.87 each. It's such a small amount that we didn't bother to question it and we were in a hurry. The food was delicious! The service was kinda weird in that our server was dining across from us and would periodically get up to take our order and to bring us our food. We had to ask for refills on our water. Is this a thing? I've never been to a restaurant where our server was also eating just 30 feet away from us. We found it difficult to ask for anything because we didn't want to interrupt her meal. A log cabin style restaurant. We never have to wait long here, they have plenty of tables. Staff is always very attentive. Plenty of delicious items on the menu. This morning we had bacon avocado spinach egg Benedict, came with fresh fruits, potatoes (delicious home fries or crispy hash brown); the summit omelette with hollandaise sauce; pancakes. Today Sunday 9/13 we went for breakfast. We had the buffet, I asked for Pozole with a side of rice. Fixed my pozole to my liking and proceeded to eat. The pozole was almost cold and the rice tasted awful. The rice tasted as if it was spoiled, I spit that out and when one of the severs came around with coffee I mentioned to her about the rice. From where I was sitting I could see the buffet and nothing being done about the rice. Went back up to get an omelette and when someone behind me asked for rice they went to the back to get it. The rice was finally switched out. As I was leaving the family next to me had ordered the rice and I saw that the man did not eat it. So I stopped and mentioned the rice was no good. And they all agreed it was awful. If all the rice was made in the same pot it does not good switching pans cause all the rice is still bad. read more

I came here for brunch on a recent Saturday. Food was yummy with good portions. I love that the dining room has lots of comfy booth seating and tons of windows with natural light flowing in. The best part of the experience was interacting with the staff - everyone from the hosts to our server to the busboys were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. Went in for an early dinner last week. Hubby didn't like the low lighting or the chairs, said they were uncomfortable but I didn't mind either. We were promptly greeted and seated and had our drink orders taken. Drinks came out quickly and orders taken promptly. I ordered the senior pork chop with french fries and the tri- tip chili. Hubby ordered the senior chicken fried steak with baked potato and a salad. Food came in a reasonable amount of time. The tri-tip chili was very delicious and not too spicy. Hubs salad seemed fresh and well put together. My pork chop was seasoned right and tasty if a little bit tough. Hubby loved his chicken fried steak and the gravy was very good. My fries came out crisp and hot and nicely salted. Both dinners came with what I would call country style green beans, with tomato and onion and were tasty. Both plates also included some tasty garlic bread Hubby decided to order the homemade cheesecake for dessert and we were both super happy about it even if the crust was a bit on the dry side. Overall the service was great and the food was pretty darn good, definitely would come back for another try. read more
