Taco Tuesday! I've been seeing this truck on my IG feed and wanted to try and was excited to see such great reviews. I placed a door dash order for pick up. Food was ready about 20mins after I placed the order (according to door dash). We're 13mins away from the pick up location. My husband left and came back a total of 30mins. Food was neatly packed, utensils and condiments packed. I ordered: one asada torta, 1 adobada and a quesataco comb (comes with a drink and consume). So the abobada was pretty good. The Quesataco was delicious however we didn't get the drink (horchata was my drink of choice) that it was supposed to come with. The asada torta was so DISAPPOINTING it was only meat and bread, the menu claims it comes with cilantro, onions cabbage and tomatoes but the asada torta we received didn't have that. The asada meat wasn't great it tasted grimy, had like a dirty after taste like it was from the bottom of a batch. Not sure what happened but definitely not worth the price. Most likely won't be returning. read more

Came here because it was close to where I was working. Saw all the good reviews and pics. I decided to try the quesobirria. It didn't disappoint. I had it with cheese. I feel like quesobirria is something really common now and when served with consommé it's really hard to get wrong. They also have Thifty Ice Cream here too. I had a pineapple strawberry drink that was sweet and refreshing. I think it a good place to come back to if I'm nearby. There were other things that look worthy to visit again. read more

Fresh food and good service! They came out to our facility again for lunch and we enjoyed them. They have a great setup where we can get four different sauces (the guacamole salsa is good and has a little kick). Each time they come out we will make sure to get lunch from them. read more

Wowwwww guys! We walked to their food truck location on a whim and are so happy we did! We got the shrimp asada burrito, some shrimp quesatacos and an Agua Fresca. I really loved how the food came with veggies and fixings on the side! The truck is nice and clean, the service was super friendly, and the food was delicious! Definitely recommend! If you follow them on insta they list their food truck schedule and specials. I think they're usually there T-Th on the corner of Shaw and Maroa read more

We tried this taco/dessert spot. It's a tiny spot that you might miss if you don't know where to look. We ordered at the counter, super friendly and ordered right away. Our food came out right away. The birria was was soft, deep with flavor and paired great with the consomé. The salsa was super spicy and flavorful just like I like it. The dessert just topped the whole experience. Yum read more

Quesabirria was authentic! Very good food and service. Not that much seating inside so don't plan to be able to sit and eat if you have a big party. A lot of to go orders it seemed like. Eager to try other items on the menu read more

Cool little taco spot, bomb tacos, and ice cream for the kiddos. The asada and el pastor were very well flavored. The hot sauce has a nice kick of . The horchata was refreshing on a hot Freno day. I was greeted by a nice gentleman who was very helpful. The place is clean, small with 3 tables that's seats 4 each and 2 benches outside to seat another 4-6 each. Will be back soon! read more

Our usual spot for tacos was closed on Sunday, so after finding Garrafa on here, I decided that we should go try it out. First impression once you pull into the parking lot is there's not a lot of spots available. It's a small restaurant, they only have two tables of 4. After we ordered, we sat at one of the tables and the food was out fairly quickly. Everything was great, the only complaint my husband had was that it was pretty greasy. After we ate, we decided to try their mazapán ice cream. It was an interesting texture but the flavor was so good! We'll definitely keep an eye out for their food truck that they also have and get their food again. read more

Small shop, big tastes! My husband and I came to try their famous birria tacos and added on a small nacho to the order. Quesabirria tacos with crispy taco shell were bomb! The meat is incredibly juicy and tender, the cheese was loaded on and melty, and the crunchy taco shell was perfection! I haven't had much crunchy taco shells, and I appreciate the overall mix of textures as they come together. Consume costs extra, but we went ahead and included it in our order, and it was much needed to get the taco shell to a nice crispy but soaked state. Nachos came loaded with toppings to the point where tortilla chips were hidden. Tortilla chips looked homemade and were supremely tasty. All of the sauces, cheese, beans, asada came together perfectly. Top nacho experience for me! read more

Man, this place rocks! Awesome tacos!!! Honestly, that is all I have had here because I don't often change from something I find that I like! I always get the shredded beef and cheese deep fried tacos with rice and beans, and they are GREAT! The plate comes with a red sauce that is amazing, fresh onions and cilantro, fried onions on the side and a choice of sauces. The agua fresca is great as well. The Olive Street location isn't in the best part of town, but I wouldn't let that stop you from dropping in and having an amazing meal! read more

As someone who moved to Fresno from the Bay Area, this is a solid place for birria tacos! They also serve ice cream and other treats if you're looking for dessert afterwards. Just an fyi that parking can be a bit tricky since it's a small lot. There's only 3 indoor and 2 outdoor tables, but the small dining area fits the cozy hole-in-the-wall vibe! read more

Stopped by the Olive Ave location for nieve de garrafa. We ended up ordering a full spread. We couldn' pass up the sign indicating that they have tacos de canasta on the weekends. You don't see tacos de canasta often so we couldn't pass it up. The gentleman at the register was so nice, friendly, and helpful. The food was out very quickly and everything was hot and fresh. We had the quesabirria combo, consome, tacos de canasta, agua de guava y fresa, and garrafa style ice cream in: coco, mazapan, chongos, beso de angel, and Tamarindo. The quesabirrias we delicious and hearty and we also ordered the consome for dipping! The tacos de canasta were also very good! Both orders of tacos come with all the fixings, too! The agua de guava y fresa was so good, and had lots of yummy guava flavor. The nieves de garrafa were all so good....all 5 flavors we ordered were perfection and I can not pick a favorite! They were ALL so very flavorful! The mazapan flavor was soooo good, the coco was so rich in coco flavor, the beso de angel had pieces of wafer cookies in it, the tamarindo had a perfect hint of saltiness. Again, I can't choose a favorite because they were all so perfectly delicious! I seriously only went in for nieve de garrafa but left with a full tummy of goodness! read more

This place was great!! I happened to be in Tower District on a Friday evening and stumbled across a bunch of taco trucks in the area. We chose Garrafa because it had a decent line and the menu looked good! I need up getting a Chicken Quesadilla and Beef Burrito (not pictured). Each item was about $12 each which is a pretty solid price. The plate came with a lot of topings and a couple sauces! Flavor was a lot stronger in the Burrito, but overall, both plates were really good! read more

Was super craving for some Mexican food and I never had a quesataco before, so I wanted to give this place a try. Have I lived under a rock? The quesatacos were delicious! Nice and cheesy and the meat was seasoned very nicely. Great flavor all around. I was very full and satisfied! Definitely makes me want to venture out and try different Mexican food. I called in for my order and once we got there the food was ready for pickup. read more

8/31/23 Getting lunch! Chicken torta ordered with no mayo, jalapeños and hot sauce on the side. The worker was very kind and said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I went in to get it. Greeted by a nice worker upon entering. Paid for the order. Almost ready. Short wait and it was ready and handed over with a smile. Small little place. There's room to eat inside if you want. Lunchtime! Torta split. It was really delicious! Fresh and tasty! Jalapeños made it even better! Hot sauce to spice it up more! Great! Mother said hers was "Wow!" She loved it and really liked the more mild hot sauce they included! Good service and great, Delicious Chicken torta! Highly recommended! read more

I'm going to be completely honest, I eat at Garrafa's at least once a week. But let me tell you why. I am a hardcore Mexican and Im very picky when it comes to Birria. I grew up eating home mad birria with my abuelitas recipe from mexico. I have never liked eating birria tacos at any restaurant in the US until I tried Garrafa's. I started off with one taco just to see what the hype was about and ended up eating four that day. So believe me when I say "I'm hooked". Today I had an itch to try their adobada tacos. I was completely satisfied with my decision. The cooks are super down to earth and give you the authentic Mexican street taco vibes. They are quick when it comes to preparing your food and their service is amazing. read more

We had barbacoa tacos and burrito this week and they were good! Their food truck was parked at Tioga beer garden. Service was friendly and pretty quick considering there was a good crowd of people. I thought the burrito could have had more meat and less fillers but my tacos were perfect: lots of onions, cilantro and limes to squeeze on the - so good. I will definitely get food from this truck again. read more

Didn't like the carne asada burrito. Rice tasted old and the meat was dry and very salty!!!

7/10/20 Came here from a recommendation from a friend. I ordered the tejuin which I wouldn't recommend unless you're into trying completely new and different things. This is a drink that's mixed with masa flour and taste just like a corn tortilla. Not my favorite but now I know what it tastes like. I also, ordered a fruit cup with the traditional fresh squeezed lime juice, chamoy, valentyna hot sauce and tajune seasoning. It was so delicious and fresh! They were kind and cut up my fruit smaller to make it convenient to eat during my drives. Would definitely come back here again! read more

Food Truck had great food and excellent service!! Would eat here again! The fish tacos were excellent.

Local and authentic eatery with all them Mexican street specialties. Clean and welcoming. The service was great as well.

First time trying and I must say, I am quite impressed. Definitely a hidden gem on the parkside/West side of town.

Good food, I recommend their quesabirrias. But terrible service. I was treated badly by a girl with glasses. Very unpleasant behavior.

Small place just west of 99 on Olive. Food was freshly made and very good. I had barbacoa tacos. Great flavor, and very generous for street tacos. Was in a hurry so didn't get to try the ice cream but I will definitely try it next time. read more
