Food was good. Like the new location on McKinley and Firsr where the old Popeyes used to be. I will say this place is a lot more busy than the Popeye's was, so seating can be limited. They have a cooler with a bunch of bottle and can drinks, and offer a nice menu and many choices of meat. Decorations are simplistic but love that they painted the logo on the wall. Great ambiance.

This place has a new location and it's right across the street in the corner of first and McKinley. They took over the old Popeyes building right by the canal. I'm not sure if they are keeping their old location but lowkey wouldn't make sense to do so if this new location is right across the street. Their menu is pretty simple. I like simple. Not too little and not too much. I noticed a few changes to the building. It's a big window with no window on the wall to order from. They cut off the other part of the dining room where they have the restroom at now. I remember it being L shaped in there. Now when you walk in the building it's just a straight walk. The service was koo. She was patient with me cus I didn't know what to get at first. I ended up with three tacos: cabeza, lengua & tripas. My bf ordered a asada quesadilla and asada tacos. I wish they had a spicy orange habanero sauce but sadly no. Only a red n green sauce. Both wasn't spicy n just okay tasting. I would've wanted my tripa more crispy but maybe I should've told them to do it like that next time. I liked the lengua and cabeza was just ok. Their asada quesadilla was pretty good though! The tacos came with lemon and a side of grilled onions. I would say the place is koo. I'd come back again but maybe try other stuff.

Hole in the wall but we all know hole in the walls serve up the best food ! I ordered tripas tacos and they were nice and crispy. Asada tacos were great but adobada wasn't my top fave. Service was good and food was quick . Just simply good tacos Cute little seating patio in the back as well.

Upon entering, restaurant did not look clean or well kept. Straws were seen on the floor by the cashier area and "kitchen". No ambiance. Just your typical authentic taco/burrito place. Service was ok. Not as friendly as what you would be used to. Food was overall was not too bad. I've had better and worse. Would I come back again? Most likely not. They forgot my small side of rice and beans. Had to go back and ask for it. We didn't order much: burrito, 3 tacos and a small side of rice and beans.

NGL, I'm usually afraid of places like this. I only went to have lunch with the bf on his break. The ambiance is a bit rough around the edges. I got cabeza tacos and he got tripas burrito. The salsa was decent and fresh. The meat was chopped up nicely, doesn't get stuck in your teeth type almost a mince. A simple Quick bite to dine in or get it to go. Service was fast and they get busy during the lunch hour.

So I came to the wrong premio mayor but it turned out to be great tacos. Only problem we had is my brother and I both ordered 5 tacos and he only had 4. The tacos themselves were all great. I tried 5 different kind to see if I can find something wrong with one..asada, adobada, Pollo, cabeza and tripas..all of them were amazing...the salsa wasn't spicy but it was good..they put a serrano on the side so can't complain. The tortillas were good..ill definitely be back but minus one star for missing 1 taco.

We were traveling back home from Northern CA and decided to stop here on our way home, the place was open late so we decided to stop by. There's so many great Yelp reviews by a lot of Yelpers I know so automatically I thought this place would be fantastic. This place might be fantastic to others, but I'm only basing this review solely on my own experience so I highly recommend that you give this place a shot for your own experience because you might end up loving this place. When we got to the place the area reminded me of my childhood hometown (Delano) and my husband's hometown (Earlimart), so I thought to myself that we hit the jackpot since all those spots that look iffy usually end up being one of the best places to eat. The music was super loud and it definitely reminded me of my hometown. My husband got the bacon wrapped burrito; however, I got the Cuban sandwich. We used to have a nice Cuban restaurant in Bakersfield that I miss and so when I saw that on their menu, I knew I had to check it out. We also ordered a few tacos and I didn't look at my food til we headed out. I took a bite of my sandwich and it tasted familiar but I couldn't make it out, so I flashed my light on it and low and behold it was bar s hotdogs and bologna. I'm not knocking it, I grew up on bar s hotdogs, but that's not a Cuban sandwich. I was super disappointed. Maybe I chose the wrong item here. I absolutely hate non charred bar s hotdog and I'm not a fan of bologna, so if I ever was in town, I would never get that sandwich again. I felt bad giving such a low rating because the staff was superb and really friendly. Maybe they just had an off night when I came. I definitely believe you should check this place out because you might love it, it's just not for me.

One of my favorite spots. Unfortunately they have been so stingy with the salsas and that's one of the best parts of the food.

Machaca breakfast burrito for the win!…read more I've been to Miguel's many times and I love literally everything on the menu and could drink their homemade salsas. With all my visits, I have never tried one of their breakfast burritos. I ordered a Machaca breakfast burrito and this baddie was huge. Fully loaded with eggs, cheese, and tons of machaca. Machaca is fried shredded beef mixed with onions and peppers and one of my favorite mexican breakfast dishes. Pair this burrito with their Taco Truck verde salsa or their Sunset Salsa, a medium salsa, and you'll be in beefy heaven. Order via DoorDash for pick up and it was ready at the exact time it was stated!

We went about 6 PM so not sure if going to a different time would've made a difference. The service was pretty good. There was only two people working. The gal that helped us didn't know how to add my points to their point system and had some issues with the register, she was OK. My wife has the chicken tacos I had the asada. We both left Mexican food, and we both feel that we are very fair when it comes to the food value and the taste. As far as the taste, the meat tacos were a little rough and gum like, probably from sitting out too long. The chicken tacos actually fell apart as my wife was eating them, and the chicken was very, very overcooked so again, probably sitting too long inside the burner. They do not have the right ABC license so you can't drink alcohol and eat hair even though you're sitting inside a liquor store. Overall an okay place, there's so many selections of Mexican food in Clovis, this one was so so.

My sister introduced me to this place, and I'm actually waiting on her to come back to visit so that we can take another trip back together (it's been a minute)! It's got diner vibes to me. Booths, seats at the front counter facing the kitchen, and a few more tables in the center. It's not the most aesthetic restaurant but... it's on the corner of Blackstone & Dakota-- lol I didn't expect it to be. Friendly staff. Great chefs. Service is always good/quick. We've never waited long to have our orders taken or to receive our food. Now... those enchiladas! They're the closest thing to the type of enchiladas my best friend's mama makes (she's from Michoacan)-- she makes the best, most authentic Mexican food! SO, when I can't get them from her... I know where to go. They are cheese enchiladas-- served with lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, and sour cream.. sprinkled with cotija cheese. They also come with some bomb potatoes and your choice of chicken or steak-- we always go steak. Sooo good and the flavors are always on point! + They give complimentary chips and salsa-- very good. We use that same salsa for the enchis. Pair it with a crisp coke, chef's kiss! If it wasn't obvious, it's a yes from me. This little hole-in-the-wall family-run business needs more recognition!
