Adrian's has quickly become one of my go-to spots for a quick work lunch. The prices are very reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous, which is always a win in my book. My usual order is the chili verde burrito, and it's consistently fresh and served hot every time. I've also tried their asada tacos and taquitos (extra crispy), and I have to say, the flavors are on point! The tacos have a great balance, and the taquitos have the perfect crunch. It's clear they know what they're doing when it comes to flavor. However, if I had to nitpick, the salsa could definitely use some work. It's lacking that spicy kick I enjoy with my Mexican food, which is a bit of a letdown considering how great everything else is. For it being a small taco joint it sure is a hidden gem! The tacos, burritos and asada fries are great and delicious. This was my first time trying Adrian's while in Fresno and it was tasty! My fiancé got asada fries and a bean cheese burrito it was ginormous! A tasty burrito! The service was great, the cashier was friendly and it took less than 15 minutes to cook our large order! August 23, 2024. Decades old hole-in-wall restaurant with delicious food. Don't expect seating here, it's basically to-go food. As others have said, it's a sketchy part of town, but I've never heard of a problem there. If nothing else, it's a bit of a DMZ, and you'll see people from all walks of life and affiliations there. Everyone goes for the food, and everyone knows not to mess up a good place. (It reminds me of Boca del Rio in La Puenta where everyone from doctors and soccer moms, to cops and wanted rival gangsters go, but at the restaurant, nobody screws around because the food is the common bond. LOL) I've never felt unsafe here. We used to live much closer and go more often. Now it's an hour round trip, so we go once or twice a year. It's still worth it for us. My wife's favorites are the taco salad with shredded chicken, nachos with shredded beef, and beef combination burrito. She found the burrito a little spicer than usual tonight. Still good tho. Excellent handmade flour tortillas!! I think I see the little grandma patting them through the tiny service window. All food is good, but the tortillas make all the difference. Prices reasonable. Family run business. Great service, but no real area to wait for your food, so good to call in order or wait in your car. Very little parking and high risk area of Fresno after dark. I tried to give Adrian's another chance. But that food had no flavor , the chile is still not spicy. The taquitos did not taste the same from before. The asada and chicken burritos are bland. I guess the salsa is so screaming hot to cover up the lack of any other flavor. Thankfully we always get our salsa on the side in case it's not tasty so it doesn't ruin our food. We used some of our delicious, flavorful homemade salsa and that helped a lot.
