First time getting food from here an This burrito was really good, the tortilla wasn't too thin and taste was on point. We will be back! Thanks

The staff was nice. Food was fresh to order. And I got the fish taco, it was good. Definitely going back to order more.

When I saw this place ranked #1 in people's choice for the Taco Truck Throwdown, I knew I had to try it. Stopped by their truck located on the corner of Shaw and West! You can't miss that red truck! They have a two tables out front for people to sit and dine. There was no line when we came by for lunch around noon! The service was timely! THE GOODS: 〰 Fish Tacos (5/5): Honestly, I haven't had very many fish tacos in my life but these ones shocked me with how tasty they were. I got both their grilled and fried fish tacos and both were super tasty. I have to say my favorite of the two was definitely the fried fish! It was delicious! 〰 Asada tacos (5/5): YUMMY!!! The meat was perfectly flavorful. 〰 Rice and beans (5/5): You knoooow a place is good when even the sides are good. The rice and beans were a home run. I totally get how this place won the people's hearts in the taco truck throwdown. This place is fire!

Yummy food !! Best shrimp tacos I have ever had . Definitely recommend the lunch plate. Got also their plain fries and there where delicious. Great customer service too. Try their shrimp burrito and shrimp fries. Their Asada fries yummy too .

This was our favorite taco truck but something has changed especially with what we like most there which is the asada fries. They are salty, cheese doesn't look the way it used to to and no toppings.

Great food everything I had order has been really good. Plus the workers are always great and helpful.

One of the best taco trucks in Fresno, and one of the very few who offer fried fish and shrimp.

    Info as of 8/26/23.

I came here on a whim as it was the closest taco truck/stand to where I was when I needed food. I'm so glad I did. I was beyond impressed after having so many lackluster taco experiences in Fresno and not expecting much. The price seemed a little high, but then the tacos come out overloaded with meat and toppings. My only wish is that they had more meat options. That said, I think it's enough. While I'd love to see them branch out in that regard, it's hard to say they're doing anything wrong. The rice and beans were on point, and that's always a big deal to me. There was so much overflow from my tacos that I mixed in with the beans and rice for a delish dessert. I tried the fried shrimp taco, and the asada and adobada tacos. They were all great. The salsas each had good flavor. The food came out in reasonable time, and the staff were all kind. Can't wait to eat here again!

Yum! Central Valley Mexican food always hits and this place is no exception. I found them on TikTok and was happy to see they had pescatarian options! We had a huge order but i only took a picture of my food. We got tacos, burritos, nachos, and my order of fries. Everyone had good things to say, the carne asada especially and the sauces were amazing! However, there were some things I would like to see in the future such as drinks on the menu (Horchata, Frescas, or Soda) Also, the fried fish ratio was more dough than fish at times. And salsa should not be $1 extra per sauce, that is a bit steep considering the portion sizes are pretty big. Of course these are all personal preferences, again the food itself was amazing. Huge shoutout to the lady working who gave us extra lime & sauces on the free. She was very kind.

My favorite food truck for tasty mex food! The rice, beans, asada, adobada, all flavorful. Ordered the Adobada Burrito (comes with rice, beans, adobada, pico de gallo, sour cream, and cheese) and the Asada Burrito (same except asada). THEIR SAUCES ARE *chef's kiss*! I always order the roasted tomato salsa, avocado salsa, and cilantro lime sauce. They have 2 other sauces available for a total of 5 to choose from. Pinto sauce and I forget the last one. Mix the roasted tomato salsa and the cilantro lime salsa together and OMG it's AMAZING! Or mix the roasted with the avocado. PARKING SITUATION: They park in a small gas station lot. Can be cramped when it's busy. Be mindful of that. My estimate is it can park about 10-12 vehicles behind the gas station. Sometimes the only place left to park is at a pump, unfortunately.

I ordered 2 tacos asada. The tacos were delicious. I liked the cabbage they put on it-gave it some crunch. The green salsa was meh.

This place is officially bookmarked for every future drive through Fresno!…read more The lengua and chicharrón tacos were honestly some of the best I've ever had. I also sampled the carnitas on top of crispy taco shells as well. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the tortillas came out hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Every bite reminded me why simple food done right is hard to beat. I was hoping to try the mojara frita, menudo, and barbacoa, only to find out the menudo and barbacoa are weekend only specialties. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed, but it also gives me a great reason to come back. What really stood out, beyond the food, was the hospitality. David, who appears to have been running the place for over 20 years, was incredibly charismatic and provided the kind of customer service that seems harder and harder to find these days. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the restaurant and the people who walk through the door. One of my favorite parts of the visit was when I saw the owner come out and greet the regulars and customers. The interactions felt sincere and heartfelt, not forced. There was a real sense of community here, as if customers weren't just patrons but part of an extended family. That kind of atmosphere is special and says a lot about the people behind the business. Great food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming environment--I'll definitely be back, hopefully on a weekend next time.

Location/services: Upon entering the building I immediately noticed the heat. It was a hot 98 degree day and the restaurant felt like an oven and was maybe 3-5 degree cooler than it was outside. I then quickly noticed this was a very simple operation (almost like a food truck), and not much to the menu, but there were folks sitting and eating and a few others waiting to order, so I assumed the food must be great. We ordered 4 meals (tacos with rice/beans) which was meant to be eaten there but after waiting in line and feeling like we were in a hot box, we decided to make it to go. We sat and waited for our food (about 20 mins), we chatted and observed our surroundings and it became very apparent the restaurant was not maintained with basic cleaning because it was very grimy and just plain dirty. I then used the restroom and it was absolutely disgusting. Our ordered was called and the staff was very nice. The food: As I mentioned, we got 4 orders of tacos (all carne asada) with rice/beans, and we asked for salsa and limes. We got grilled jalapenos, lemons and one sandwhich baggy filled with red salsa. Not a big deal. The meat was fine but the tortillas were inedible. They were tough, flavorless, and greasy. The bean and rice were ok. We ate enough to curb our hunger but none of us finish our food. Upon my best judgement, I had convinced myself that the food was gonna be great because their Yelp rating told me so. I was so wrong! One last note, there was nothing here that resembled a bakery/panaderia. So if you think you could also grab a treat here, you are wrong.

What could have been a disappointing surprise turned into one of the best local dining experiences we've had in a long time. We had the pleasure of meeting Miguel himself, and his hospitality immediately stood out. He took the time to introduce us to several items on the menu and encouraged us to try a little bit of everything. I'm glad he did. The red beans and rice were absolutely phenomenal, and every single thing we tasted was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with pride. You can tell Miguel genuinely cares about both the food and the people he serves. What impressed me most wasn't just the food--it was the atmosphere. Miguel has a gift for making you feel welcome. His heart for hospitality is second to none, and it's obvious that serving great food and creating a great experience are his top priorities. If you're looking for a hidden gem in Clovis, this is it. Whether you're stopping in to catch a game, grab a meal with friends, or enjoy a simple flip-flop date night with your spouse, Miguel's is worth the visit. We'll definitely be back, and I can't recommend this place enough.

Miguel sells his auntenthic mexican food and Lisa sells her favorite sweet treats. By far on the market, they sell pretty bomb salsa! It's not like the generic salsa from store bought one, it's just like the unique homemade family recipes. And trust me, these are not as supper vinegary. I love Miguel's salsa! Miguel's message was to serve his community and bring his tradition to the table. He brought the flavors of Michoacan and Jalisco Mexico which were passed down from the Segura family. SERVICE :: I love Miguel's service! He personally serves you and greet you there. He offered me free chips and salsa while i wait. They were quiet busy but get things done quickly too. RATE : 5/5 SALSAS & CHIPS - COMPLIMENTARY:: His salsas and chips were the best thing I've ever recieved. He serves his famous red and green salsa with a little bit of ground beef on top. They go so well together. RATE : 5/5 RED SALSA :: It's hard to describe it here but it's roasty burnt salsa full of flavors. Not too vinegary. You just got to try it in person. RATE : 5/5 GREEN SALSA :: I personally love the green sauce more, in general. And still Miguel's green salsa still beats the red salsa. I can taste all of the greens and fruit in it. It may be advertised mild but the heat is there. It's about almost the same spice level as the red salsa. RATE : 5/5 ASADA TACO ($3.49) :: Besides his salsa, his tacos were amazing too. It's well seasoned, unique, and full of flavor. The asada is something that I've never tasted before. It's very herby, well seasoned to taste, juicy and tender! RATE : 5/5 TACOS DORADOS ($4.49) :: The tacos dorados were something different from what I've had before and were absolutely delicious. This taco reminds me of birria. The texture and flavor were also amazing. I asked for pork, it was supper moist, tender and juicy full of flavors. The cotija cheese brings a nice dry and light cheesy taste to it. And lastly, those pickled jalapeno just give a pop of juicy, sour, and spicy flavor. RATE : 5/5 PISTACHIO CREAMES ICED MATCHA (16oz - 6.49) :: Lisa use Tenzo brand. I've used and tried Tenzo before and it's hard to ratio the matcha. Over portion Tenzo match will be too bitter and too little too diluted. And yes, Lisa's Matcha was on the diluted side. The pistachio flavoring is light and taste artificial. The sweetness level is perfectly sweetend. Not too sweet. RATE : 2/5 NOTE : Spend anything above $50, get a $5 dollar off voucher for the next purchase. OVERALL :: Overall, it's a hidden gem that's definitely worth checking out! Don't forget his salsas, he do sell them on the side. I'll definitely go back for more and try his other menu!

This location took over the old Popeyes on McKinley and First. Not the best location but plenty of good food (Pho) around this intersection. Not that that matters to me... some of the best foods I've ever had are in the most unexpected places. You order at the counter and they bring it out to your table. The girl behind the counter greeted us right away, very friendly. We got to sample a couple of their Agua Frescas before making our decisions as well. I got 3 different tacos: Asada, Cabeza, and Tripa (extra crispy). He got all Asada. We weren't huge fans of their Asada. We both agreed it felt/looked/tasted more like ground beef... wasn't cooked how we'd like. Asada was in last place for me. Cabeza was good, came in second. The Tripa was my favorite. Very good. My friend got Lengua and Adobada-- pretty sure she enjoyed hers. For the drink, we agreed on the Cucumber one-- it was very refreshing/yummy. We also sampled the Horchata. It was good but slightly too sweet for me. It's not very big inside but there's still a good amount of tables for guests to sit at. 8-10? More or less. They keep the tables clean... but, there are a lot of flies buzzing around the windows. We had to battle with one very persistent/pesky fly trying to get our food. It's a shame because that definitely docks a point, sorry. Tacos were good, not the best I've ever had though. I know Asada may be a basic meat choice but we've had some damn good Asada... they missed the mark. Also, I hope they find a way to resolve the fly issue. With that said-- I've gotta put them in the middle.
