Friendly service at the counter. Haven't been inside the Selma or Sanger Fosters in a decade or so, this Fosters seems much more remodeled than the Selma one is or was. Plenty of seating. First and foremost a bit of background on who I am. I a big foodie and love to try new and different places. I've been living here in Fresno for over a year but have live throughout California, Washington, Oregon and Mexico. I have a very good palate for food. Now my sister and I wanted to try something that has been local for many years hear in the central valley so we went to Foster Freeze in Sanger. We used the drive through as they didn't care if you were a mask or not. The building, sign and menu need major upgrades and they have cash signs everywhere so they can put more money into maintaining the building which is ironic since the place here in Sanger needs major upgrade. We ordered the old fashion burger. One medium combo and their cheesy bacon ranch fries. The burger was meh, it looked delicious but once you take a bite the only thing I could taste was the tomato. The sauce they used was thousand island dressing but watered down, meat needed some salt or seasoning. The bun was lacked flavor as well. the medium fries was a tiny bag which by todays standard is a small. The cheesy bacon ranch fries were alright, just a dab of cheese in the middle, the ranch was on the side and the bacon was actually good. but overall not amazing. The women who handed us our drinks was nice as well as the gentleman who later came back with the bag of burgers. If service was bad it would of been a 1 or 0 star rating. If you just need a place to fill the stomach its ok, if you are looking for something wow ... well I would look elsewhere. Hopefully the owners actually make some upgrades and look at the negative reviews unless all they care about is the money which it seems that way to me. read more

The wait in the drive-through was 15 minutes and waiting that long I was expecting at least a fresh hamburger and french fries but I got none of that. Most of these poor reviews are personal vendettas against one of the owners. I worked there in the past, and I still eat there regularly. It's always relatively clean, and the food is good. It is not really a fast food place, it's short order. Food is cooked on the grill when it is ordered, so no it's not going to be as fast as McDonalds. It's not going to be as cheap either. read more

Best Foster's in the valley! I had the 3 patty burger with Cris cut fries.... fresh bun, melted cheese, crispy lettuce, and soft ripe tomato. They give you real ranch dressing not a processed mini tub of 900 year old pre packaged gelatin based artificial buttermilk byproduct. If your in Sanger for some god awful reason then eat here... then get the hell out of Sanger, it's a shit hole. The counter help is okay.... a bit sarcastic but the bathroom is filthy and smells like sewage. I am happy to review this delightful establishment! I have always been a little Leary of Sanger and the Fosters Freeze chain has slipped since I was a child. I ate here a few times on my last trip to visit my parents. I was totally wrong and completely excited about it. The food was good! Well made and fresh. The workers obviously took care in putting together my hamburger. The dining room and bathroom were clean. Not just cleaned but obviously the employees keep the place clean. Had Fosters for lunch yesterday. Fosters was my favorite place to go for a really good burger. Not anymore. Yesterday was the last time I go there unless I want disappointing food. I asked for no cheese, got cheese. The patty was over cooked and the fries were extremely salty. AND I was overcharged 4.00. The lady did correct the overcharge when brought to her attention. The store seems to be clean most of the time and they did a good job of remodeling, I'm old fashioned and always liked the old 1950s feel that Foster's had but i guess the times have changed. The food has always been good but a little pricey for fast food. The service can be a little on the slow side at times but the staff seems to always be friendly and curious. This place is amazing and frankly has some of the best service you can get in Sanger. The food is great. If anyone here complains about time, they probably just love cheap fast food, because this place makes sure your food is freshly made every time. Anyone who's ever cooked a meal knows the good stuff takes longer. The customer service is even better. Last time I went a young lady named Victoria/Elizabeth? (I just know It reminded me Of a British queen) helped us. Anyway, her customer service was awesome and we literally came 10 min before they closed.
