Community Sponsored Agriculture or CSA is a fabulous way to enjoy quality organic foods. This…read morecompany has taken up the charge from TD Wiley which did it some years ago. You get a weekly box which is available for pick up at various drop locations around Fresno. You can choose to have veggies and fruits added or deleted as the week prior a list of what is coming. In your is sent to your email. You can also add eggs, bread, chocolate, coffee, mushrooms and other high quality goods and the cost is just added to your bill. If you need to go on vacation you can easily pause your box for a set amount of time and resume when you wish. The veggies are very fresh and high quality. You receive a wide range of seasonal produce. This week there were collard greens, mandarins, navel oranges, onions, gold potatoes, beets with greens attached, leek, cabbage and shallots. This is a tremendous service; they have even started offering home delivery for an additional fee. If you recommend someone there is a reward system in place. Great!

Ooooby now has 100% customizable boxes! Ooooby Fresno is a Community Supported Agriculture service…read more CSAs allow you to have direct access to high quality, fresh produce grown locally by regional farmers. When you become a member of a CSA, you're purchasing a "share" of vegetables from those farmers. As a CSA, Ooooby has been around for many years under a different name; they are now called "Ooooby" which stands for Out of Our Own Backyard because all of the produce is local. Some of their produce comes from as far away as San Benito or Monterey counties, but that's about as far as your produce is going to come from, which I think is really cool. You can can choose from a variety of sizes of boxes - Small, Medium, and Oooober and choose whether to get your box every week or every other week. You replenish your account the week before a delivery is due. When you know you'll be out of town or need a break, you can schedule a "pause" and you won't receive or be billed for that week's delivery. Before, each box came with set contents and you are notified of the box contents and add-ons for the week on the Thursday before your delivery. At that point, you could swap out one or two items if you know, for instance, that you don't like beets. (Side note, if you don't like beets, try peeling them, cutting into quarters, drizzle with olive oil and lil salt and roast them - they are delish!) Ooooby also posts a list of the produce and other products that are offered that week and you can add additional items to your box. These are called add-ons - I LOVE add-ons! because the extras include a bouquet of herbs or locally roasted coffee beans or teas or Enzo olive oil and Mama Mia par-baked pizza crusts - so yumm!! When your box arrives, there is a sheet, on one side listing the items in your box and a note from Ooooby about what's going on right now, and on the other side are two recipes that use box contents and a tip or note on how to care for box contents, for instance, how best to keep parsley in your fridge. They're so helpful! Now, however, you can totally pick and choose which items you want in your box. Our family receives a medium size box every 2 weeks because I like to supplement with local farmers markets around town. I am excited to customize my box even more now! This company quality of service is NOT worth nearly as much as they charge! If you want to know…read morewhat you're paying for, it's software (you can research and purchase yourself) amazon/vistaprint materials (purchase yourself and personalize it) training tutorials which are PowerPoint slides that do not prepare you properly, a trying staff of "experts" that do not own nor operate an official delivery service, generic fb/ig posts (you can do yourself and better) a website built exactly like 50 others with exception of your name and your color theme. An excellent sales rep to come down and get you 0-5 official restaurant partners (not good!), and 1000 headaches and sleepless nights! There is absolutely no ROI due to any of their strategies, there are no profitable businesses created by them. I've been in communication with over 40 to 50 others who have been scammed also and we have all been told and sold the exact same story. This is a great business to be in but using this company will unfortunately make it discouraging and difficult so please if you want to do this, find another company that can show you records and give you your money's worth and please pay much less! All the 5 star ratings you find are either paid, employees, or new startups before they launched and didn't realize what they were getting into. The staff I dealt with were all nice and tried to be helpful but that makes you put your guard down and not realize what's happening until it's too late. I thought I did my research by talking to the CEO directly, reading reviews, and reaching out to other businesses and I was still wronged. I spent $54500 of MY MONEY based on the belief that following their method would get me back double within a year or less! Thats not happening, not even close, not even a quarter of it! The way this place is taking peoples money is a crime! Please don't use this service! Save your money!

If you want to start your own Restaurant Delivery Service, DO NOT do it through Time To Eat. It is…read morehighly overpriced and highly over-hyped. The industry itself isn't bad, but you can get started for way less than what Time To Eat charges. Many of the tutorials through which they "teach" you the business are outdated. Which understandably can happen. Any recorded media will eventually need to be updated. But for the money they charge, Time To Eat should have someone keeping these things up to date. Their support system is lacking horribly. I got on a "companion call" with one TTE rep. and I expressed my concern that I wasn't getting enough orders per week. He told me that I was doing great, though clearly I was not! I didn't call support to have them tell me everything is all rainbows and unicorns. I wanted some concrete advice. Something that I could use to improve my business. I know that I have weaknesses as far as running this business goes and at the end of the day, it's my responsibility for the success or failure of my business. However, TTE promised support. It is weak. I have learned more from certain fb pages than I have from TTE. I give it two thumbs down!
