50's Diner & Great Consistent Burgers Food: - Double Jumbo burger - quality grilled burger, cheddar cheese, pickles, onions, tomato and lettuce and a perfect bun. Very flavorful. - Fries - wavy fries, light, crispy, no real salt (so you can salt to your liking) but not needed they are so wonderfully made. Ambiance - 50s diner, vinyl seats, music, car bumpers, lights, etc. Just very 50s to the core. Very clean. Very easy to order and eat. Staff: friendly, quick, hard working Price: $$ (great price for food)

I came in with a large order. This location is attached to a gas station and I wondered if it would be the same quality and taste. It was delicious, and the food came out quick. The people looked liked they enjoy working there. They made sure to ask about condiments. A nice lady offered to put my shake in the freezer until I left. I plan on coming back often.

The set up is amazing food as well definitely something you should stop by and check out next to a ampm would be better if it was alone

I'm so happy this location finally opened. This is a perfect spot for anyone who drives on the 180 and is heading weat from Fresno. The staff here were very friendly and the place looks great. The food, as always, was extremely tasty, and the portions are big. Don't drive by and ignore this location it's a must stop and try.

Great lunch!!

Getting lunch! Drive-thru! Brand new! Veggie burgers ordered with no mayo. Combo with onion rings, ketchup & hot sauce. Also with a Diet Cola. The worker was kind. Received after a small wait. Nobody was in line. Lunchtime! Veggie burger was Really Delicious!! Fresh tomato & pickles with cheese! Onion rings with ketchup & Tapatio were great too!! Nice crunch!! Even better with the ketchup mixed with Tapatio!! Plus, a small onion ring is a lot! Leftovers too!! Good service & Great lunch!! Highly recommended!!

The food was 5 stars. The customer service was 5 stars. Really nice worker at the drive thru window. The wait in drive thru was a little long and it was $33 for 2 combos, so not great there. Will Definitely will come back :)

I can't believe I've never done a review. I've been coming here for the past five years since I've…read morelived in the neighborhood. This is a small shop with a big back area where they make ice cream magic. They have different delicious ice cream treats and at least one agua fresca at all times ranging from $2 - $5 or so but I usually stick with the paletas. They have at least theee different strawberry options and every other fruit - and some veg like avocado- don't knock it til you try it. The paletas are separated by water-based and dairy-based. Both are good. My favorite water-based: watermelon, lime, jamaica (hibiscus) and fave dairy-based: both strawberry - sooo good. Currently, paletas are $2 each with no discount that I could see. I'm pretty sure two summers ago, the dairy based were like 25 cents or 50 cents more (adds up when you buy 10 like me haha). Anyway, you deserve these frozen treats, don't deny yourself any longer.

A very clean place and very easy to find, service was 15/10. They were very kind to my son and…read morehelped him pick out a flavor. When it came time to pay I only had card and no cash and there card machine was down that day. He literally told me it was fine and to just take the ice cream for free, (3 ice creams and a agua Fresca). The ice cream itself was fresh and reminded me of the way they make it in mexico.10/10 as well. Also as I was typing this a homeless man came in and he gave him a snow cone for free. LITERALLY AS I WAS TYPING THIS!

SF had Benkyodo, which I appreciate, but did ran sweet for me…read more SJ has Shuei-Do. Pardon, but non ci siamo. Sac has Osaka-Ya, but Kogetsu-Do is better. We were in town the morning after seeing the Firefail. Finally success on the third visit attempt. Amongst other shops on the desolate street stood an unremarkable window front where the repeat button has remained on since the 60s. Within was an eclectic mix of Japanese American household fixtures and Americana. Rustic. Nothing like Benkyodo's proper shelf presentation - or a hamburga stand. Some Japanese goods were on offer, but you come here for something sweet. We got a couple of mochi and manju, traditional red bean flavors, because that's all that was left. Their manju, seeming to have a different "batter" and "panini"-grilled, had a crumbly texture. The mochi though... Have you seen that viral video of that slapping mochi shop in Nara? What about people enjoying it? How soft it was, leaving a vegan cheese pull with every bite? This was by far the softest mochi I've ever had, and I thoroughly enjoyed the soy dusted yomogi. The bigger size of the mochi also accentuated the softness of the mochi. The matcha, also green, had a distincting different flavor, just so you know that the shop wasn't cheating. My partner in crime loved the lima bean mochi. The red bean filling tasted homemade, good flavor but not too sweet - the best compliment you can give an Asian in a world that remains overrun by pollo ala naranja. We are proud* that such a heritage perseveres on, especially in a part of town that's honestly become quite desecrated of life. Call ahead to see if the shop is open, and try to come early. The shop is a one woman show, and if my first two visits say anything, this lady enjoys having a life. And yes, she does sell out. She was nearly sold out when we visited. And try to enjoy the mochi ASAP. The mochi will last in the fridge. The texture will not. If you come at the right time of the year, the shop will have mochi in different fruit and pie flavors, and even ice cream mochi. *OK, "I'm proud of you" might be a bigger compliment to an Asian. And yes, there's Fugetsu in LA, but I haven't been. Though if you need a reason to visit the Fresno, you can always take the 99 traveling between SoCal and NorCal... Just need to be early if much is desired. If you're interested in AYCEat mochi, staying healthy, working out for free, and have an eye for the art of making mochi, may I suggest asking the owner for an apprenticeship? The owner's mentioned on articles that there's no one to take over and you don't become a master overnight.

Such a historical cute store!!! We got a bunch of red bean, white bean and fruit mochis. So good…read more We kept it in the fridge overnight and they were still so yum the next day.
