We came here randomly because I had originally wanted to go to Trader Joe's but we decided to go here instead . I've driven by this place many times but never went inside . They also have a drive thru ! I'm not really a drive thru kind of person so we went inside to eat and order . We got a fat burger and the 6 piece garlic Parmesan wing meal . The food took about 15 min to come out . The fat burger was huge and juicy and the meat patties was so fresh . The wings were also really tasty and huge . The shakes here looked super good and I really wanted to order one but will save that for next time ! Great burger restaurant if you are craving a burger ! read more

Never again. I will come here never again. Worst burger restaurant experience ever. We ordered 3 Original Fat Burger combos. The burger, fries and drink were okay, same as any mediocre burger joint, but the service was atrocious. As soon as we got there, we're were only the second people in line. The man at the register took the order of the person in front of us and then asked us to wait a moment before he could take our order. No worries, we can wait. But he made us wait so he could refill the amount of cups which were already full and then proceeded to do other unnecessary tasks while the line behind us was growing. After about 10 minutes of watching him waste time, he finally took our order and gave us a number stand. Min you, we order it to-go. We sat at a table to wait and all the tables were sticky or dirty. Why wasn't anyone cleaning them instead of dilly-dallying around doing useless tasks? We waited a whole 30 minutes until I got frustrated and went to the counter to see what was taking so long. I politely brought to their attention that I had been waiting for half an hour and they said they're working on my order right now. You mean.... This whole time, my order was forgotten???? They gave me 2 chocolate chip cookies to apologize for the wait. Are you serious?!!!!!! wtf You think my time is worth 2 dried cookies that have been sitting around for who knows how long? This happened on June 27,2026 and I waited until now to post this review so I could cool off, but even remembering the whole thing gets me annoyed. read more

Trust the bad reviews. The food was not good. The fat fries were ok but onion rings and burger were not good. All the tables were dirty even though there wasn't anyone in there at a usually busy time. The restaurant was not clean. read more

First time trying this place. The food was hot and fresh. The service was good. I got the western bacon burger and had very high hopes for it. It was good don't get me wrong but I feel like there could have been more. Like more onion rings or more flavor. I also got a side of wings. The hot garlic ones and I can't tolerate spicy food but it wasn't spicy at all. It did taste good however; very tender and the sauce was almost like a glaze. read more

I pass by this Fatburger shop weekly and decided to try their basic hamburger for lunch today. The restaurant is very clean-looking, and the young lady taking my order was very nice and polite. After a 10-minute wait in the drive-thru, with only one person ahead of me, my $9.10 hamburger was handed over. The hamburger patty covered the entire bun, and that surprised me. Though the patty was large, it was dry and somewhat overcooked. The deep char flavor made up for a little of that, but it was dry. Overriding all of that was the combination of pickle and mustard. The burger was dry and tart. The shredded lettuce didn't help. I did not see a tomato slice; mustard seemed to be the only spread. Overall, it was disappointing. It should have been in the $4.50 range. Ordering additional condiments or cheese might have wet it down a little. Three stars because of the pleasant staff member. The burger itself was one star. read more

I came to Fatburger expecting a burger. What I got was a life affirming experience a culinary awakening and a masterclass in leadership all courtesy of Elijah the manager who I can only assume was forged in the fires of hospitality Mount Olympus. First the food. Calling it good would be a gross understatement and frankly disrespectful. This burger did not just arrive at my table it made an entrance. The patty was juicy in a way that suggested it had been emotionally supported throughout its cooking journey. The bun was toasted to the exact level that scientists have been chasing for decades. The toppings were crisp fresh and clearly aware of their role in something bigger than themselves. Every bite whispered you made the right choices in life. Now let us talk about Elijah. This man is not a manager he is a conductor and Fatburger is his orchestra. He moves through the restaurant with the calm confidence of someone who knows deep down that everything is handled. Orders flow smoothly. Staff are upbeat. The vibe is immaculate. If customer service had a gold standard Elijah would be the benchmark and everyone else would just be updating their resumes. At one point Elijah checked in not in the forced robotic how is everything way but in the kind of way where you feel like he genuinely cares about your happiness your meal and possibly your long term goals. I would not be surprised if he also does motivational speaking on the side. The place itself was clean efficient and humming with positive energy. Even the soda machine seemed happier than usual. I have eaten burgers all over but few places make you feel like you are part of something important like you did not just grab lunch you participated in excellence. In summary The food was legendary. The service was impeccable. Elijah is a national treasure. If you are hungry go to Fatburger. If you want great service go to Fatburger. If you want to witness what happens when leadership burgers and destiny align definitely go to Fatburger and hope Elijah is working. I came in for a meal. I left with a full stomach a happy soul and dangerously high expectations for every burger I eat from now on. Highly recommend. Would write another review if allowed. Would follow Elijah into battle. read more

I only go to Fatburger for the chocolate chip cookies. I went yesterday, which was Thursday, and the delivery guy was bringing their inventory. The worker indicates that they don't have any cookies right now that the guy was just now unloading supplies. So I come back today, Friday, and I'll be damned if the worker indicates they ain't got no cookies. I said the worker told me yesterday they would have em. Anyhow do what you want with this review, they just irritated my fat self. read more

I love this place! Sad to see the reviews are low! The wait can be long, but it so worth the food! Burgers are hot and fresh! The restaurant is clean and always plenty of seating, without being empty! Just be patient and enjoy your yummy food!! read more

Way too expensive for what it is. Got 1 chicken sandwich and 4 kids meals, 3 milk shake upgrades on 3 of the meals. $73 total. Equivalent at In n Out would be around $45. Cajun chicken was overcooked and chewy. Buns were cold and didn't seem fresh. We went inside and there was no line. I ordered then immediately after I heard the guy on the grill tell the girl at the register to stop taking orders or something close to that. Right after she went and started making shakes and made the guy behind me at the register wait a good 7-10 minutes before she came back to take his order. I also noticed the same guy sitting in the drive thru window for a while. We got our food in a reasonable amount of time. The place seemed relatively clean. We won't be going back. Not good enough for the price. read more

Drive thru is slow but people it's fresh cooked. Much better than made ahead. Love love the handled bags that the workers pass it out the window. Can be reused or recycled. Great idea And burger is good. We think they do a good job over all. Better than half of all others. Something for every taste and preference. Have a great day read more

Good food, but I can see where everyone's "beef" is coming from. Most of the negative reviews mention the drive-thru time and they're not wrong. Our drive-thru experience here took about 25 minutes from the time we ordered to the time we got our bag of food. It was a long wait, but the food is actually pretty good. First off, the portions here are huge and (surprise surprise) the food actually matches the pictures on the ordering window. I got the King Burger with everything and my wife ordered the chicken crispy sandwich. The burger was massive! I only ate half and saved the other half for lunch the next day. My wife's sandwich had an entire chicken breast on it and it was insanely juicy. The kid's meals were pretty basic, just some nuggs and fries. Would I came back? Probably not. At least for a long time; with the wait for food and the high prices (about $50 for our order) it's not quite worth it for me. Pro Tip: Order everything a la cart and you'll save at least $2-3 per person. The combo meals are steep! read more

It was kind of late and maybe worked were tired. They were not in the mood or something. Sounded kind of rude on the microphone. We ordered the king burger and they didn't ask us if we wanted cheese. We didn't think we needed to ask. The picture on the menu has it so we thought it was with. The thousand island burger was ok. It had great flavor. It didn't have cheese but we didn't mind. The Cajun chicken seemed overcooked and was ok. I had better. The drive through was open until 2:00 am. read more

Just got home and having this meal with my girlfriend, we're not the type to write reviews, but this time it was absolutely necessary. The guy working tonight on the drive-through speaker sounded like he did not like his job at all. Was not decent to talk to, borderline rude. The food took forever, which is OK because I think they make it fresh. But these fries are possibly the most bland thing we have ever had. The burger wasn't that bad, the meat seemed fresh. The bun seemed old. Second time here at this location both have been bad experiences. Not coming back. read more

Food was ok. Issue was Enrique the "manager" I guess. My son ordered a milkshake. We waited the appropriate time to get our food. However, the milkshake never came out and nobody addressed it. when I asked where is my son's milkshake Enrique said yeah I'll make it ... when I told him My son would like to have it with his meal. He decided to say "yes master I'll get right on it master" in front of my eight year old. Very inappropriate. I when I ask him what he said. He repeated it without any concern. read more

Getting onion rings to go with lunch! Ordered on the Yelp app. Making it convenient! Paid for it and it said when it would be ready. I went to get it shortly later! Nice place. Clean, safe & practiced! Greeted by nice worker & order handed over with good day wishes! Appreciated! Lunchtime! Onion rings split! Definitely, not fresh! Tasted old. Pretty disappointing, but at least the worker was nice & it was convenient to order on the Yelp app & go pick up. Mother felt the same. read more

The food here is delicious and the Maui/banana shakes are great but the service is horrible. Went in for dinner at around 4 pm and no other customers were inside. We ended up waiting almost 8 minutes for our order to be taken and the workers seemed like they would rather be anywhere except at work!!! It took another 15 minutes to get our food which as I said was delicious! Fat burger should spend some time and train their staff to be pleasant to customers that come in to eat and I understand why no other customers were present while we were there. read more

Drive thru experience only: Restaurant is located in the Northeast corner of Willow and Alluvial next to the Arco gas station. Line wasn't too long at 12:30. There was a person taking the order and we were able to pay with that person. Menu was plenty. Food quality was ok. Didn't follow the order however. Ordered fries no salt and that was not honored. Requested for ranch sauce on the side for the wings and there was no sauce. Other than that, it was ok. read more

I ordered online and it was super easy. Tried the burger and it reminds me of Five Guys. Nothing bad about this place at all. This wouldnt be a top pick for me to go to if I want a burger though since it is pricey. If I was out of town and this was the only thing there then I would stop by a Fatburger read more

We stopped by to try this newish dinner and were quite impressed. It was Americana at its finest! The staff was so friendly and the food arrived super quickly. It is extremely clean and the atmosphere was casual and inviting. There was no one besides us in the restaurant and the drive through line was not long. Maybe many don't know about the joint yet. Which is sad because they deserve to be popular. I enjoyed reading about the history and the story behind Fat Burger's. There's a huge poster inside that I didn't take a pic but basically back in 1947, the incomparable Lovie Yancey started the business with her husband: a three-stool hamburger stand called Mr. Fatburger. But in 1952, they split. Ever persistent, she dropped "Mr." from the namesake, and Fatburger became her own. She worked 18-hour days and made Fatburger into an icon; with celebrities frequenting The Last Great Hamburger Stand. Hubby & I shared an original Fatburger with the works and our children shared boneless wings and a kid's burger. The steak fries and onions rings were bland but after a dash a salt they tasted way better. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu and continue our support. read more

1. Don't go to kiosks to order. They give the drive through priority. 2. Don't get the corndog...I had a better corndog from the Walmart hot box...and that wasn't very good!!! On the plus side, the drive through employee was very pleasant! read more

Slowest drive thru ever! There were 2 cars in front of me when I pulled into the line, 13+ minutes later I was able to drive away with 1 chicken sandwich The sandwich looked like it was thrown together and wrapped by a 5 year old It tasted ok, lack of flavor, especially for a Cajun sandwich. not worth the 13 minutes in line! read more

This location is a bit newer to the area, this was my first time here. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly & helpful. Ordered the smallest burger (adult size) with the large big fries. It all came out in approximately 5 minutes, nice & warm & with all the fixings. The patty was a hand made burger with a bit of char on it - yum!! The fries were hot & very good, personally I like the fries cooked a little longer so next time will ask to be cooked longer. The food is great always fresh made and made to order , very Friendly staff , very accommodating

Good food, bad customer service, long wait times and pricey. I live down the street and I've been here twice. Both times the drive thru wait was 20+ minutes. The workers hardly say two words to you and then shove your bag at you and close the window while you're left wondering if that's everything or if you're still waiting on something. Not worth the wait or prices. I'd rather drive down the street to Farmer Boys for better/quicker service. read more
