Great burger, excellent fries, and a good value!! Fries are nice and crispy on the outside but still soft and fluffy inside. Highly recommend.
I love hammy's. My favorite thing to get is a hamburger burger fry. It's french fries that Jhace sauce, cheese sauce, grilled onions, and a Smashburger on top. It's completely delicious and affordable at $10. It's a full meal. The service was speedy and they were very friendly. There's a lot of seating inside and it's kept very clean.
I have been wanting to try Hammy's for a while. Today was the day! Walking there are bright lights! Bright signs, lots of booths and tables! The counter clerk was patient while we looked over the modest menu! Definitely a burger joint! We ordered the double smasher combo; burger,fries, and fountain drink. We got our drink and our food was delivered to our table! The fries were hot, crispy on the outside soft inside! Perfect! The burger was huge! Lettuce, tomato, pickles, a sauce and cheese! Steaming hot and the bun was fresh and delicious! It was a huge burger! I could only eat half. I had to bring half home! The dining area was very clean, the service was friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We will be going back again, but may share a burger! Thank you Hammy's. Good food!
Came for a easy midday lunch. I really like that I can always order my burger online. It saves time and makes it really easy to pick it up. They text me when my order was complete and the staff were able to give me my food hot and fresh. The restaurant is small and quaint however it very clean. I feel that the fries were bit too salty however I was able to balance it out with the burger. Overall it's definitely one of the best places to get a smashburger.
Place decent plenty tables & booth available. You order at the counter and they will call you when it's ready. Simple place yet, the burgers are good. If you looking for fatty greasy burger. Fries tasty came out hot and crunchy. Yes, burger greasy, but let's be honest if not greasy it's not that tasty... just saying
So, gave it a shot, Single Smash w/ cheese. Im sorry, it was horrible. At first it didn't even look like beef! So I took a bite, thank God it was small.It had so much salt i was choking!!! Maybe a person had a bad day? Sorry, I will never go there. Maybe the grill needed to be cleaned? Good luck.

As a smash burger, I know it's hard to perfect it. I was expecting a crispy flat and juicy burger. But mine came out dry and overcook. The patty looks like it was just sitting on the flat top untill it fully cooked. I don't taste any of the sauce that they put in there. The watery lettuce, grilled onions, and sweet bun saves the burger. Other than that, I'm glad that the burger came out hot and yet the lettuce was still cool and crunchy. They were generous on the fries! I love their slightly seasoned fries. The batter up fries was perfect. I order to go and my fries were still steamy hot and crunchy. RATE : 3/5 SERVICE : Service was ok. No greeting but lots of stare... She seems tired. But they got out my order quick and fresh! RATE : 3/5 AMBIANCE : I went there a little late, so it was quiet in there with some pop music on. The tables are clean. Great modern interrior design with lots of neon lights. OVERALL : The price is decent for this burger. It taste good with all of the toppings and bun choice. They just need to perfect the patty. I couldn't taste the sauce so I'm not sure what kind of sauce are they talking about. But, I love their fries! I'll say give it a try. They might perfect the patty the next day. Who knows.

This was a pretty good spot and kinda a little hidden gem. The ambiance inside was very updated, clean and hip and while the person taking my order was nice wasn't super engaged and was more interested in her phone. Food however was fantastic. I got the double smash with onion rings and this did not disappoint. Flavors all the way around were fantastic and really enjoyed it. Next time I would only get the single smash I couldn't even come close to finishing this. All the ingredients were great and the burger sauce was amazing! For sure a place I would go back to again.
Quick Service, plenty of available seating, cool graphics, even better food. I've been to Hammy's a handful of times and each time, YUM! My friends and I were honestly addicted for a while when we first tried it. Went once a week, and even twice a week at one point. We've finally shaken the addiction but that's at no fault of theirs. Their Smash burgers are delicious, cooked to perfection with the grilled onions and cheese. You also have the option to add lettuce, tomatoes and so on if you'd like as well. Aside from the burger being delicious, I absolutely LOVE their fries! Thin but thick at the same time and perfectly crispy! Drooools! If I had one critique, it was that they never did get their ice cream machine in (they had milkshake options on the menu in the beginning) and I was reallllly looking forward to trying one of their milkshakes! I guess it's a blessing in diguise-- my body does not need to be consuming all of that in one sitting. But anyway, they won't lose a point for that. When the drive/wait for In-n-Out doesn't seem worth it-- this is the next best thing (for me at least)! Give them a try!

Presentation of the burger was great, everything looked good, Burger tasted fresh, was flavorful and cooked well. The bacon was crispy, not overcooked and not fatty. The service was quick and food was uncompromising. The restaurant is clean appearing from the floors and tables to the trays that they serve the food on. Simple food done exceptionally well is what people want and will come back for. Look forward to my next Hammy's Bacon burger.

Great burgers at a pretty good price! The #1 (the most basic one) was around $7 and fries were $4. Everything was fresh and the flavor was great! It took around 5 minutes for our food to come out which was pretty quick! Interior is clean and there are lots of tables to sit at. Parking can be a little difficult but there's the fashion fair parking lot right there if they run out of room. Bonus points because our cashier was also super sweet!!

Returning customer here. Who is In-N-Out?!? These burgers are very well made, sauce is yummy and the buns are so soft. I believe they use brioche buns. Their onion rings are super good, try them! Plenty of seating inside. They have good ice for their drinks lol and the condiments are self serve. read more

Came here on a whim and we did not regret it! Their burgers are delicious! Soft bun, perfectly smashed patty and crispy fries. But the highlight was definitely that sauce! This tastes like a homemade from scratch in n out and it's filling too! A double smash will fill you up! Their Hammy fries were also a nice option if you ain't up for the buns. Service is quick, prices range from $4-$10 for all their items, and the seating is okay, so if it gets busy you might have to take your food to go, but overall 5/5! read more
Went a few weeks ago for dinner first time at this location. Was greeted upon entry. I absolutely love their smash burgers. I ordered the jalapeño smash and my husband ordered the double smash. This place is a hit or miss for him simply because of our first experience. He felt that they over cook the patties which causes the edges to be burnt and taste unpleasant. So he had a conversation with the lady taking our order about it and it dragged on longer than it had to so I totally forget to ask about adding topping to our burger and she didn't offer. Don't realize it until our order was basically ready so I didn't get a chance to ask her if she could add it. We were also looking forward to ordering some milkshakes but they had signs up saying it wasn't available at the time we were there. The food was delicious regardless the burgers were perfect and didn't have burnt edges. The fries were fresh. The place needed some cleaning however some tables were dirty and my husband took my daughter to the bathroom and said the floor was completely wet (hoping it was just water). Overall I do recommend their burgers. read more

For my family, the best smash burgers in town. Fresh and hot just how I like my burgers. The fries were a tad bit salty, but the onion rings were perfectly crisp. Although my husband can barely fit in the booth to eat, there was plenty of seating lol. read more

The inside was clean and quiet. The girl at the front register was nice and she was constantly cleaning. The food was delicious and although pretty expensive....so worth it. Those crazy cheese fries with the patty over it is delicious. The only issue I had was I asked for a double smash with jalapenos and they added bacon instead...but you can't go wrong with bacon I guess. I'd definitely eat here again. read more
I am so excited to see Hammy's Smash Burgers open a second location, this one in Clovis. The first location is also off Shaw Avenue in West Fresno. I can give you three good reasons why I think you will become a big fan of Hammy's once you try its burgers. First is the Maillard reaction. It is a process of taking hand-packed fresh 100% Angus beef and placing them on a searing hot, well-seasoned grill, and smashing the beef into a thin, savory patty. This browns and caramelizes the beef and creates a deep, savory flavor. Moreover, the crispy edges of the beef patty created by this process here supposedly seal in the juices and keep them from escaping. It is then topped with a blanket of cheese right on the beef patty as it cooks, layered with a slice of lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, and secret sauce, and placed on a soft buttery bun. The result is a classic burger with maximum flavor. Secondly, the fries are some of the best I have tried locally. They are crispy and well-seasoned, so it is worth paying the extra $5 to make it a combo with fries and a drink. The onion rings are terrific too albeit nothing too special. Plus, you will have to shell out an additional $2 for your combo if you substitute the fries with the onion rings. I would stick with the fries. Third is the reasonably priced menu items, including the burgers. A Single Smash will only set you back $6. Their most pricey burgers, which include double or triple patties, are only $8.50 each. If you have not already, come taste why these crispy-edged smashed burgers will be some of the juiciest and most savory burgers you are going to try. read more

If I had to pick one place to ignore my doctor's advice to lower my cholesterol and BP, this would be the place. I don't care if I take an extra seat due to the mass size I accumulate from eating these things. I loved the neon lights of the place and the retro ketchup bottles they have at the tables. It felt just the perfect place to destroy those burgers and fries. The fries were nice, crispy, and greatly seasoned. Really no complaints here. Don't even get me started on the burgers. Sometimes I can't tell whether I thoroughly enjoyed that meal or if that was the elevated blood pressure, but I really wouldn't either way. If you're looking for a nice chill place to catch up with others, hangout after work, or vibe, I would highly recommend this place. read more

Was excited to try this smash burger joint but was disappointed. There wasn't much flavor to the patty and it wasn't crispy on the edges like a smash patty should be. It just tasted like a thin McDonald's patty. The best part about the meal were the fries. The fries were delicious but I probably won't be coming back. read more

if you want a smash burger, this is it! simple with the smash patty, cheese, hammy sauce, and grilled onions. now you can add lettuce, pickles, other sides as well. side of fries and same ranch and hammy sauce to dip. the ice is the good ice too for the drinks, the small ice! great spot in clovis off shaw in front the walmart, alot of open parking from all the stores around the area. read more

Who doesn't like Hammy's?!?! We are glad there is this location in Clovis. It is located by the Walmart on Shaw and Peach. Usually, they are quick to send out their food and if it is not what you like, they will remake. The fries are good there too. Love their fresh buns as well. Can't wait to try their 3rd location soon. read more
