I have passed by this place several time. Finally stopped to grab some burgers for my family. The customer service is outstanding! I was a little indecisive with the order since I couldn't remember it all. But the employee taking our order was super nice and didn't get upset at all. The double bacon cheeseburger is delicious! Huge burger with nice bacon strips, not the normal paper thin ones. It comes with lettuce, tomatos, and onions (grilled or raw). The patties are regular sized and you can taste the meat in every bit. The ortega burger looked good and daughter in law like it alot. Same veggies but with a mild green roasted Anaheim chili (ortega brand) on the beef patty. We also ordered a bag of fries to share. The fries are good. Nothing great and not bad. Overall, we really liked the burgers and will be back for sure. Next time I plan on getting my grand babies a bannana split too! read more

Compared to all fast food in the immediate area..this place has thr best prices for what you get. Their burgers are juicy and the ingredients always seem fresh. The only thing I don't like is their fries. They are always bland so I have to pack thr ketchup. Their onion rings are delicious though so I'll just start switching my side or maybe try thr chilli fries. I Tried their oreo milkshake and it was perfect! (The original location is located off N. Cedar Avenue, near Gettysburg Avenue.) Orders come quickly in a casual, welcoming atmosphere. There is a retro vibe and fast, friendly service. I appreciate the comfortable dining space, featuring cozy, clean booths and tables, their commitment towards a clean environment, affordable pricing, and a functional menu. I tried the ABC burger and the Philly Cheesesteak as a combo (with a drink and fries). The ABC burger features a well-seasoned, fatty, juicy ground beef patty, melted provolone cheese, along with fresh avocado slices, crispy bacon, complementary toppings, and a perfectly toasted bun. The burger was delicious and tightly wrapped in paper. I was impressed by how well the burger stayed intact after I removed it and took a few bites. This demonstrates excellent execution, characterized by the burger quality, a solid understanding of cooking techniques, and proper seasoning of the burger. The Philly cheesesteak features diced ribeye steak, diced bell pepper, caramelized onions, melted provolone cheese, and is served on a lightly toasted hoagie roll. The roll had a nice crisp crust to prevent sogginess, but was firm enough to hold the fillings. The ribeye had a good balance of flavor and fat, but could have been more tender. I also prefer the cheese melted directly on top of the meat to create a creamy blanket. They layer it on top of the roll as it is grilling before adding the meat and toppings. The sautéed onions were sweet and nicely caramelized. I love the variety of food options. Great customer service and friendly service. I went through the drive thru. I ordered the shrimp and fry basket and the veggie burger with cheese (the team member asked if I wanted to add cheese at the window and I'm so glad he offered that because it made the burger even more delicious) . Everything was fresh to order which is worth the wait considering price increases at other more known fast food joints. The price is reasonable and the freshness of food makes it even more worth it. If you are a non meat eater like myself, try the veggie burger! My only complaint is I didn't get napkins but it's ok since I was eating at home. I won't deduct a star because of that. read more

Some of my favorite homemade-tasting burgers in Fresno. I had been wanting to try their Avocado Burger for a while and it did not disappoint. The slices of avocado were thick (as seen in the photo) and the burger already came with bacon which was great. Although the burger had a light flavor to it, it was accompanied well with the fries since the fries were well-seasoned. The customer service here is always average. Nothing to complain about though; they're always respectful and polite. This time around, I decided to eat inside and it was overall good. The AC was on which was nice since it's been hot. The only thing I personally didn't like was that the music was a little too loud. Other than that, I was ok with eating inside. read more

I had the most delicious hamburger If you want to experience the best tasting hamburger Ever! You must visit Sam's Burgers at the corner of Clovis Ave and Ashlan. Sam's Burgers are absolutely delicious, I had the double cheeseburger with avocado with jelopeno's it was super thick super juicy with a side of ridge fries and soda. This place is now one of my favorites. Philly Cheese Sandwich is one of best I've ever eaten. The favor is so good, I've eaten at both locations and both places they were delicious. I've also have eaten the Pastrami Sandwich that is piled with pastrami peppers are hot too But now the Milkshakes are to kill for! They are actually a large . I go here so much I don't even know how many times I've gone for only knowing about it for half a year but my husband and I love it. They offer halal options for burgers and beef bacon which is a plus for us since we don't eat pork. I'm in love with their chicken nuggets when I'm in the mood for some comfort food. Everytime we've gone, the food is always hot and fresh which we love! The staff there are kind and the service is great. We usually go through the drive thru and the wait is decent. Even when it's long due to a few cars ahead, it's not as bad. I've ate inside at the cedar location and I like the diner retro style ambiance. 1/25/25 Getting lunch! Ordered and paid for a veggie burger on Yelp. It sent notification of when it would be ready and I went to pick it up. Arrived and let worker know and it was brought right out with good day wishes! Appreciated! Nice inside! Bright red booths with vintage pictures on the walls. Saw Elvis on the way out! =D Lunchtime! Veggie burger was okay. Not much flavor. Definitely needs cheese and seasoning or something more on the veggie patty. Plain. Positives...fresh bun and veggies. The burgers lacked flavor and had something hard and spiky embedded in the tomato. The fries were overcooked and hard, and they were over-seasoned, likely to compensate for their poor texture. The roof of my mouth is raw from whatever was in the tomatoes. The sundae melted before i even hit the stoplight. This place was better when it was Sno White. They claim to have "The best burgers in town" but not even close. There should be some regulation to restaurant claims. Was very disappointed waste of money and time. read more

Sams is hands down the BEST burger place in town (the Clovis ave location). Every burger is made fresh and the fries are perfect. They are so nice, like family. It's always very clean inside and the decor is awesome!! Very 50s vibe. Service is pretty quick even when they are super busy. They also have a drive thru. The menu is quite large offering not just burgers but chicken, seafood, zucchini fries, fried mushrooms, the shakes and sundaes are heavenly. Portions are generous. Sam's never disappoints and is our go to spot!! frequently. I highly recommend Sam's! The BEST!! My personal favorites are the Avocado Burger and the Ortega Burger. read more
