Came here with the family after a long day in the snow. They served us up quick and handled our large party with ease. Decor really sets the scene for a little throwback. I enjoyed my burger and fries. Banana split is good to share between 2-3 people.

Onion rings + ranch, chili cheese fries

Tasty burger spot that looks like a blast from the past. There's a window at the front to order from outside, or you can go inside and order from a kiosk. Menu seems more extensive on the kiosk vs what was posted inside. Everything tasted really good. We ordered the Classic Burger (1/6 lb patty), the Good Burger (1/4 lb patty), onion rings, chili cheese fries, a soda and a vanilla milkshake. Quite a bit of seating inside and it was nice and cool inside. Will be back to try other menu items!

14C. Crispy Chicken Sandwich Combo

Hubby said the burger and fries were OK. I had the crispy chicken sandwich combo. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the fries were the crinkle cut style, my favorite. Service was fast and friendly. Indoor seating, fifties style, or you can eat in your car. Fun decor!

Chili Cheese Fries and their double cheeseburger

This place is a must try, if you like burgers! We ordered the chili cheese fry special (2 for 5.99) and two burgers. The buns were great and toasted perfectly and everything worked well together. It's a great place for a classic burger, ya know? They had so many different burgers on their menu, but we went with the classic. I highly recommend trying out their food! The prices are reasonable and their service is good. My only complaint would be how echoey it is when eating inside, but that's not going to affect my rating.

As of 02/07/2026 menu.

First time ever. I've got heard good things from people. I know who have experienced this place. Stopped in this afternoon cause I was in a mood for a burger. I walked inside, found the order window and finally decided on a regular one patty hamburger combo. The young lady behind the window, extremely polite and very knowledgeable. Asked me if I wanted a slice of cheese with my burger without feeling pressured into getting it I declined. I was in a mood for onion rings instead of fries, asked what the up charge would be, and was pleasantly surprised it was a dollar. By the way, the fries were excellent. Still hot when I got home. FYI, it's a basic combo with the burger, fries, and a very generous drink. I was offered the drink while waiting. After I went to wash my hands, I came back and upon seeing me, they poured the drink, and I sat for a moment while my Food was being done. As I reached for my bag of food, I was worn to be careful because the onion rings are fresh and hot. I was home within five minutes and after taking a moment to wash my hands, I sat down and enjoyed the first hot onion ring. It did come with a ranch type dip, which is a nice compliment with the ring. The burger took both hands to hold it while eating, real lettuce, onion and tomato slice. Just enough sauce to complement the rest of it surely enjoyed it all while switching from burger to onion ring back to burger back onion ring. The meat was good and tender. The fries are crunchy and tasted really really good. Being five minutes from my home, and being a decent price, and nice people working there, I will definitely be back soon and often. Thank you, Bob for making a good burger and having nice people work there. BTW, restrooms, clean and bright.

The meals are pretty affordable. It's a very curated burger place with retro and casual visuals and atmosphere. I love to look at the decor while enjoying a burger every time I come. I'd definitely order a milkshake should I have the room for it :)

Large grilled salad

Ordered large grilled chicken salad online for pickup and was ready and hot when I got there. Came with 2 ranches and definitely was at least 2 servings size. Plenty of chicken, and was delicious, will definitely order this again!

I was pleasantly surprised at just how good the food and service was during my experience at Bob's Good Burger. This place is a one of a kind throwback to a time when we would eat at our favorite diner: burgers, shakes, fries and such. The dinning room is like a museum of rock and roll culture. It's the late '50s and the food is a perfect match. We had the #19 country fried steak burger, fried zucchini (instead of the crinkle cut French fries which are amazing), and a pineapple shake. We also supplemented our order for two with the popcorn chicken. All the food wasn't really good. My hat's off to the staff of friendly (Manuel, Josiah, and Priscilla), Job well done! When I am in Clovis, I'll be at Bob's Good Burger!

The prices are really good for what you get and the quality of the food was above average as well. I wish they had online ordering outside of 3rd party apps that gouge the restaurant, the consumer, and the delivery driver but otherwise I could easily see myself grabbing a work lunch here. I just have to make sure I give myself enough time to call ahead and take the time to pay in restaurant. Overall, really good sandwiches and sides, good prices, just an old fashioned ordering system that you have to plan around.

I decided to come back today and give it another try. Today , I went with a turkey and salami combo on a wheat roll. Ok , we have a winner! That wheat roll managed to stay soft -yet sturdy enough to hold up to all the toppings. I get my sandwich with light mayo and light mustard , lettuce , tomato and wax peppers You can also add a variety of other toppings if you prefer. My sandwich today was a 5 star sandwich, but I am going to hold my 5th star back until I can try their burgers. I dipped the meat separately in the chili oil and hoisin sauce. This is my new favorite local place and I live in MADERA. Yes I door dashed that ISH from Clovis to Madera. I only tried their BBQ pork banh mi, and while it looked promising, it wasn't quite what I expected. BBQ PORK - BAHN MI ($9.75) :: The pate was salty and overpowered the whole sandwhich. The pork itself tasted a bit gamey, lacked of flavor, and seemed slightly stale. The breading didn't give that nice flaky crunch. I personally think that it's a bit pricey for this size too. The sandwhich is long and small; it's not worth for what you paid for. RATE: 1/5 FRENCH FRIES ($5.50) :: Their fries is pretty good. I love the coating on the fries. It gives that nice crispy crunch. There's nothing special here. It just taste like regular fries. The amount that they give you is definetly bang for the bucks. RATE : 5/5 SERVICE :: Love their service but not the wait time. It was pretty empty in there but it took them a good 15 minute to finish my order. RATE : 2/5 Overall, the shop has a lot of charm, but the bahn mi just didn't hit the mark for me personally. Don't forget to grab their fries, it's great for the snacks. I would definitely come back to try their other dishes. The only reason that is holding me back a bit is their priceing is just a bit pricey from anywhere else though.

I sit in the most relaxed setting, with back ground music, beautiful decor and amazing food. Some meals are better than others, but that is true in all public eating establishments, if we are being honest. The managers are trying very hard to make each and every eating experience is memorable. Sal and Gabriel are hard workers, and both aim to please by listening to what customers have to say, and relaying options to owners. The servers I see the most are Lizette and Tanya. The refill glasses, clear tables, always with I smile and usually hug. They always ask how the food was. I am always honest. Today I had ribs, that fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. Extremely good potato salad, chicken salad, and two bowls of pozole with all the trimmings. In the future, there are some major changes to Dosan. As a frequent visitor, I am excited to see what these changes will mean. If you have not visited Dosan, go now, enjoy the great food and great service. But every time we drive by, there's barely anyone there, and after visiting, I understand why. They really need better marketing and more of a clear identity. We didn't even know what kind of food they served until we walked in. It feels like they're trying to be high-end, but the restaurant has a bit of an identity crisis. We later found out it used to be a buffet, and now it seems like they're trying to rebrand without really creating enough buzz around it. They need promotions, events, maybe even live music--something to bring people in. The menu is extremely limited, and there's no kids' menu at all, which was frustrating for a family dinner. They ended up handing us the lunch menu just to compensate. My daughter ordered the Alfredo pasta, and it honestly didn't taste like Alfredo--it mostly tasted like oil. Adding Parmesan helped a little, but it was still disappointing. The bread was decent enough. I ordered the cod with rice and asparagus, and it was okay--probably the best part of the meal--but nothing that made me feel like I'd come back for it. The waiter was kind and doing their best to answer questions, so no complaints there. Overall, it just felt like a restaurant with potential but no real direction. Nice atmosphere, decent service, but the food and overall experience didn't match the high-end vibe they seem to be aiming for. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return.

The next thing that I didn't like was the price of our lunch. 45.00 for one sandwich , two small cups of soup , two fountain drinks , and a dessert. Seems pricey for a sandwich spot. I get it - this is a step up from Subway. However, for what I spent - I expected more. Finally, the dining room tables were grimy. I had to clean off our own table before the food arrived. I felt like this was inexcusable considering the amount of staff standing around not doing much. Here is what I did like. The menu has a nice variety of hot or cold sandwiches, sides , and desserts. Everything sounded so good. Today, I opted for the Monterey chicken sandwich. While the flavor was good, it ate a little messy. I had chicken pieces falling out and cheese oozing out of the bottom. I don't think I would order this again- there appears to be better options to choose from. The baked potato soup was really good ( salty but delicious)! Hands down , the best thing we tried was Gary's chocolate cake. That cream cheese frosting was heavenly! Heads up- this cake is super sweet ,and a little goes a long way. So, if five or more people order a sandwich for pickup at 12:30pm, your ass is waiting and walk-ins get taken care of first! They gave me a large tuna portion for my sandwich.
