Onion rings
Kevin L.

Honestly didn't know this place existed and found it on Yelp. Great sandwiches and incredible beer battered onion rings. The bread was soft and fresh. Took only a few minutes to make the sandwiches. I had the chipotle chicken on Dutch crunch while my son had the spicy chicken on wheat. Only issue was that mine had olives when I asked for no olives, but I just picked them off rather than fuss about it. Definitely going to come back

Hot Sandwiches with Roast Beef

This was our first time here. You build your own sandwich, there wasn't any "signature" sandwiches. We ordered at the counter, medium toasted roast beef with everything. Staff was friendly, there was hardly a wait. We got our drinks and sat down and our food was done. Sandwich was good & the fries were some of the best fries I've had. They were hot, crispy and seasoned. The ranch was also good & im not a typically a ranch fry dipper. Definitely plan on coming back to try some other things and the beer battered fries.

Great little family owned and operated sandwich shop that offers hot and cold sandwiches, burgers and beer battered sides. The sides are excellent and the service very friendly and personalized. Each meal is made to order

Tri tip

Love this sandwich spot. Super good food with quality ingredients and freshness. The bread is delicious and light, making all the flavors of the sandwich pop. The staff is super friendly, fast and efficient. They are also very attentive to making sure the tables and establishment is clean. Highly recommend trying this place. My go to is the tri tip with bbq sauce.

Very fast service. I highly recommend this place to everyone. This will be a spot I will come to at least once a week from now on.

Lots of portion for a medium and it tasted AMAZING. All kinds of meat was provided as you can see in the picture. I ONLY added lemon and jalapeños to the broth that's how good it is. I dipped the meat separately in the chili oil and hoisin sauce. This is my new favorite local place and I live in MADERA. Yes I door dashed that ISH from Clovis to Madera. The sandwhich was also good. Sweet with pork belly. Bread was toasted yet still soft. I would order it all again. Very good Resteraunt. I'm kind of hard on Resteraunts but I'm giving this a 5/5 PS: Open a pho Resteraunt in RIVERSTONE in Madera. You have hella rich people there and ZERO pho competition. You would have all the RIVERSTONE and TESORO VIEJO people flocking to your place.

I only tried their BBQ pork banh mi, and while it looked promising, it wasn't quite what I expected. BBQ PORK - BAHN MI ($9.75) :: The pate was salty and overpowered the whole sandwhich. The pork itself tasted a bit gamey, lacked of flavor, and seemed slightly stale. The breading didn't give that nice flaky crunch. I personally think that it's a bit pricey for this size too. The sandwhich is long and small; it's not worth for what you paid for. RATE: 1/5 FRENCH FRIES ($5.50) :: Their fries is pretty good. I love the coating on the fries. It gives that nice crispy crunch. There's nothing special here. It just taste like regular fries. The amount that they give you is definetly bang for the bucks. RATE : 5/5 SERVICE :: Love their service but not the wait time. It was pretty empty in there but it took them a good 15 minute to finish my order. RATE : 2/5 Overall, the shop has a lot of charm, but the bahn mi just didn't hit the mark for me personally. Don't forget to grab their fries, it's great for the snacks. I would definitely come back to try their other dishes. The only reason that is holding me back a bit is their priceing is just a bit pricey from anywhere else though.

I sit in the most relaxed setting, with back ground music, beautiful decor and amazing food. Some meals are better than others, but that is true in all public eating establishments, if we are being honest. The managers are trying very hard to make each and every eating experience is memorable. Sal and Gabriel are hard workers, and both aim to please by listening to what customers have to say, and relaying options to owners. The servers I see the most are Lizette and Tanya. The refill glasses, clear tables, always with I smile and usually hug. They always ask how the food was. I am always honest. Today I had ribs, that fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. Extremely good potato salad, chicken salad, and two bowls of pozole with all the trimmings. In the future, there are some major changes to Dosan. As a frequent visitor, I am excited to see what these changes will mean. If you have not visited Dosan, go now, enjoy the great food and great service. Then you can come back and enjoy the new changes! Happy eating in Clovis!

But every time we drive by, there's barely anyone there, and after visiting, I understand why. They really need better marketing and more of a clear identity. We didn't even know what kind of food they served until we walked in. It feels like they're trying to be high-end, but the restaurant has a bit of an identity crisis. We later found out it used to be a buffet, and now it seems like they're trying to rebrand without really creating enough buzz around it. They need promotions, events, maybe even live music--something to bring people in. The menu is extremely limited, and there's no kids' menu at all, which was frustrating for a family dinner. They ended up handing us the lunch menu just to compensate. My daughter ordered the Alfredo pasta, and it honestly didn't taste like Alfredo--it mostly tasted like oil. Adding Parmesan helped a little, but it was still disappointing. The bread was decent enough. I ordered the cod with rice and asparagus, and it was okay--probably the best part of the meal--but nothing that made me feel like I'd come back for it. The waiter was kind and doing their best to answer questions, so no complaints there. Overall, it just felt like a restaurant with potential but no real direction. Nice atmosphere, decent service, but the food and overall experience didn't match the high-end vibe they seem to be aiming for. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return.

The tuna sandwich has a sauce, that brings the tuna sandwich together. It compliments it well. The Yukon salad is ok. Wasn't my favorite but it wasn't terrible. I'll still eat it. After reviewing the menu selection, it felt like I was waiting for a while just for a staff member to acknowledge us. Instead, the workers were standing with their backs to us , and left us standing there for a while. In fact , I was so confused I was looking around for a kiosk to order my food. The next thing that I didn't like was the price of our lunch. 45.00 for one sandwich , two small cups of soup , two fountain drinks , and a dessert. Seems pricey for a sandwich spot. I get it - this is a step up from Subway. However, for what I spent - I expected more. Finally, the dining room tables were grimy. I had to clean off our own table before the food arrived. I felt like this was inexcusable considering the amount of staff standing around not doing much. Here is what I did like. The menu has a nice variety of hot or cold sandwiches, sides , and desserts. Everything sounded so good. Today, I opted for the Monterey chicken sandwich. While the flavor was good, it ate a little messy. I had chicken pieces falling out and cheese oozing out of the bottom. I don't think I would order this again- there appears to be better options to choose from. The baked potato soup was really good ( salty but delicious)! Hands down , the best thing we tried was Gary's chocolate cake. That cream cheese frosting was heavenly! Heads up- this cake is super sweet ,and a little goes a long way. Feel free to share this dessert. I am coming back to try more menu items- I may have just ordered the wrong sandwich today.

I ordered the 6-inch tuna with lettuce, tomato, pickles, jalapeno, and banana peppers, along with a drink. By the time I had filled my drink and walked back to the pickup counter, my sandwich was already done! Apparently, online orders have to be made close to the pick-up time so they sit for too long. So, if five or more people order a sandwich for pickup at 12:30pm, your ass is waiting and walk-ins get taken care of first! They gave me a large tuna portion for my sandwich. It was very fresh and not too heavy on the mayo either, which can create a drippy sando. Loved all the toppings except that they put pickle spears on their sandwiches and not pickle chips... why? The sandwich came on dutch crunch bread, which I normally love, but it was hard a little hard to bite through. The crust was more chewy than crunchy, but still soft on the inside. Decent prices, a huge menu, and they offer most of their sandwiches in wrap form as well.

The guy helping me was super nice and had a few suggestions based off of what I like. He recommended the mint chip, which I'm excited to see on the menu because those are usually seasonal and a lot of coffee spots. I enjoyed my mint chip drink which I was able to customize with oat milk and no whip cream. It wasn't too strong, but strong enough, and I really enjoyed the mint taste infused with the chocolate.
