Staff is very nice and inside is clean Angry Mac - a layer of seasoned fries, fried chicken, and Mac n cheese. Overall great. Huge portion and great bang for your buck. My favorite part was the fries. The Mac and cheese is more cheese sauce , not sure if it had actual cheese. It was good but I not what I was expecting . This would be way better which actual cheese. The sliders are really good. Although I prefer the flavor of Dave's, Angry Chickz chicken tastes cleaner, and the slider is larger and has a good amount of veggies. Dave's sauce is better tasting, but Angry Chickz chicken itself wins. Mild had a little more kick than I'd like, but I'm not mad at it. Overall great value for your money! read more

Brooooo. I don't come here as often as I'd like, but that's honestly for my own safety. Angry Chickz is one of those places I consider a special occasion cheat meal because if I came here regularly I'd probably turn into a human bean bag chair. This food is RICH rich. Heavy. Saucy. Comfort food that hugs your soul and then immediately tells you to take a nap. I got the Hangry Fix, which is basically a bowl of happiness: mac and cheese, rice, slaw, and their hot chicken. Let me tell you... this combo is effing fuego. The chicken is juicy with that crispy outside that soaks up the spice perfectly. It's one of those bites where you take a bite, pause for a second, and just go "mmmhmmm ok." The mac and cheese is wild. Super creamy, cheesy, and borderline irresponsible in the best way possible.... Yeah, it's good. The rice + slaw combo actually balances things out nicely. The slaw cuts through the richness so you don't immediately go into a food coma (though let's be honest... that coma is still coming). And pro tip: I usually grab an extra chicken tender on the side because their chicken is too good not to. You think you're full... and then somehow another tender disappears. Is this everyday food? More people came in so it was a fairly busy but quiet night. I ordered the #2 which consists of 2 chicken tenders on toast and fries. While on a business trip in Fresno, I found this location of Angry Chickz within walking distance of my hotel. After looking over the reviews, I decided to stop in and give it a shot for a late afternoon lunch. The place was not too busy, with one young woman at the front taking orders, running food and helping customers. She was friendly, and I told her I would like Classic #2 (Two Hot Chicken Tenders - Medium Heat - over White Bread with Pickles and Fries). She gave me my receipt and I sat down at the not-totally clean table I could find that didn't have trash or crumbs. Within about 10 minutes, my name was called and I received my food in a To-Go container, even though I said I would be eating here. As a side note, everyone that was eating inside at this location received their food items in styrofoam containers. The restaurant has about a dozen tables of varies sizes, along with seating for about 25-30. The restroom was gender-neutral and average in cleanliness and being stocked with proper amounts of paper products and soap. Opening up my meal, right away I noticed that everything looked pretty tasty. The chicken looked great and was a pretty good size for the price. I took a bite and the chicken was beautifully cooked - perfectly crispy on the outside, wonderfully tender inside, with a nice amount of heat. The bread and pickles were the perfect complement to the large chicken breasts. The fries were very underwhelming. Kind of soggy, not much flavor. Definitely did not finish them, instead focusing my tastebuds on the star chicken. However, the dipping sauce was pretty tasty. Overall, a pretty good option for fast food hot chicken. Accidentally online ordered at the wrong location. I tried to call to get a refund but no phone number. So I went to the location only to be told they could not give a refund, that I had to go through the Toast app. But the Toast app is for vendors only. So I was out the $50 spent on the meal. This place! This place is so good! I really love their angry Mac bowl. The bowl comes in a combo of fries, Mac, and chicken. It always hits every time! I would suggest you order an additional sauce or two on the side as it can be a bit dry after awhile. It is still very good though and I like it! In the mood for some chicken, so I went to Angry Chickz. The inside it was very spacious, clean and very inviting. I had interaction with three different employees while I was there and all three of them were super nice. The young lady that took my order was super polite, friendly, nice and courteous. We got a combo number one and the angry fries. Oh my gosh everything was so good fresh and perfectly cooked , The chicken was juicy and tender. The angry fries were perfect. Nice fresh crisp coleslaw with big chunks of chicken and pickles and perfectly cooked french fries with that wonderful sauce on top. The combo number one was great. Hands down 5 stars! The Nashville Hot Chicken at this place is off the chain! So good my mouth is still burning (in a good way) as I write this review. First off, I ordered the combo #2 which is two tenders served on a slice of bread (pickles optional) and fries. I ordered spice level hot as I was fearful to go any higher based on other reviews I read about how hot the chicken is, even though I'm someone who loves spice and usually orders things extra spicy. Well, as I said earlier I'm still burning but in a good way. I found the spice level of hot to be perfect for me and I can see how anything higher might be pushing the limit, although I'll probably try the x-hot to say I did it. I'd recommend folks who aren't used to heat to start low and work your way up. So, the spice was great and the chicken was very juicy and well cooked. The fries that were served were very fresh, had a great consistency and flavor to them. The facility was exceptionally clean and the staff very friendly. When we walked in, a young lady was at the counter. She was more concerned about her long nails than greeting us. Tables were somewhat full with reasonable distancing between them. It was a bit stuffy inside. I was glad to see a large tent outside with tables and chairs. We ordered combo 1 (2 sliders, fries and coleslaw) with side of Mac n cheese and combo 4 (2 strips, butter rice and Mac n cheese). The size of the sliders were great! Bigger than normal sliders. The flavor country- no spice and medium spice was good. The chicken itself wasn't as juicy as I've had at other places. The three of us did not like their Mac n cheese. It had no flavor and tasted like it just noodles with cheesy milk. Coleslaw did not have flavor as well. I could taste the mayo and a hint of vinegar. Their secret sauce wasn't good either. The fries were good and my husband really liked their rice, probably because it was drenched in butter. The tables outside were very dirty. I always carry disinfect wipes so I just wiped down the table myself. It was nice a cool in the tent. So I was glad that it was blocking the cold breeze. Roadtrip to move the daughter back to school, so her job as navigator was to find something along the way to eat. Now Nashville Hot Chicken is not a new thing, but in LA, the lines are so ridiculously long. We ended up getting to their Fresno location on a Saturday just as they were opening. Apparently there are multiple locations in LA so i can get my fix when i get back home. There only 4 combos, but it pretty much covers anything you would want. There are also 5 heatness levels, Number 5 requires a release. We love heat, but being our first time we took heat level 3. Dont expect fast food because everything is made to order, but it is definitely worth the wait. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The coleslaw on the sandwich appears to be house made, and not too much mayonnaise so it was crunch giving good texture to the sandwich. The fries appear to be twice fried, or breaded, but very crispy and fluffy on the inside. We love heat, and the number 3 did not disappoint, but will definitely get your endorphins going, so dont try to be macho and start a bit lower on the heat scale and work your way up. Either they are not really separating or tracking the various spice levels properly, or "Medium, the perfect heat" is WAAY hotter than you've EVER had anywhere. It was as if they'd accidently served me the 'surface of the sun' spice level that requires you to sign a waiver. TOOOOOOO HOOOOOT! Aside from being too hot, the slider was good but didn't have the 'extra pickles' I'd ordered. Unless 3 round pickle slivers is extra. Perhaps it was? The loud music playing kept cutting out and sounded like some wiring was loose. When it's loud like that, it's bad... The slider itself was good and the chicken tender was large, but it is JUST a ck tender with spice on it... And I noticed that the employees back in the kitchen touch food and then push carts around, clean tables, load the ice machine and then pop back in the kitchen without seemingly changing into NEW gloves. One wonders if there's a 'just one pair per shift' policy? They need to be changed guys, it's called cross-contamination.... They were so cheap with my extra pickles so maybe that spills over to one-glove per shift requirements? $14.00+ for that meal with no drink?? Honestly, it seems $3-4.00 overpriced. Being a new place and having take out for the first time there, I didn't tip. Given the COLD fries and 3 pickle slices received, I'm glad I didn't. And therein lies the rub--tipping with take-out. What if it's subpar and you're offsite finding you didn't get what you'd asked for? Do you run back in and extract it from the tip jar?? I'm glad I tired this place but really, once was enough. To be very honest, I was really excited to try this place out but I wasn't really impressed. I ordered the number 4-2 hot chicken tenders over buttery rice. It also included cold slaw with pickles and also ordered a number 1 which was 2 chicken sliders and a side of fries. I like a little spice to my food...this one had a wierd taste. The lines were long and there was a lot of customers already eating when we got there. It was pretty pricey as well...it was 30 bucks for two meals including our drinks. You know you made the right decision when you have to sign a waiver before eating a meal.
