6/04/24 On a veggie burger kick! Lol! I called and ordered a a veggie burger with no sauce and a large onion ring(to share with mother) with ketchup and hot sauce. The worker was kind and said it would be ready. I went to get it shortly later. Very nice worker after a short wait in line to pick up. Order ready and he included ketchup & hot sauce just like asked. They have outside seating, parking seating and inside seating also. Music playing also! Lunchtime! Veggie burger was Really Delicious! Fresh veggies toppings, tasty veggie burger and even better with the Tapatio to spice it up! Onion rings were Great too' nice crunch and more tasty with ketchup & Tapatio. I hadn't visited Triangle Burger in 15 years, though I used to come here frequently when I was younger. Today, while passing by Triangle Burger, I was drawn in by the enticing smell and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I regret that decision. I ordered two combos: the Combo #12 BOB Burger and the Combo #3 Double Jumbo Burger. Both burgers were poorly cooked, and the Combo #12 had a particularly strange odor. After one bite, I had to throw it away--it was pretty burnt. On top of that, they failed to include some of the items I paid for, including a pastrami sandwich. For a total of $30, the experience was disappointing, to say the least. I will never order from here again. If you're in the area, you're better off going down the street to Red Onion instead. read more

Triangle Burger has solid food and the burgers are definitely worth a try. The quality is good and the portions are fair for the price. However, I would say the staff should be a little more careful with how they talk to customers -- a small comment or attitude can change the whole experience. I prepaid my order online full amount. When I get there they advised me that there was a balance. The cashier couldn't explain it, it was completely frustrating. My order said ready at 12:22 pm we had to wait additional 15 minutes past the time it said to be ready. It was so inconvenient. Definitely not making this stop again. Food was mediocre. I didn't expect good customer service here obviously but a little common sense of some service would be nice. I wouldn't recommend this spot. Solid good burgers. The patties are heavy so you get your money's worth. A very light seasoning so you don't get saturated with salt before you even finish it. Perhaps it could be a little too light for some. Fresh onions and tomatoes, and great service. I ordered a double. Then I checked to make sure that it was no cheese. My food was ready in a short amount of time! I was super happy because I had a late lunch and was starving. I ordered their jumbo cheeseburger and a side of fries and I went to town with it. The patty was juicy and well flavored. My fries were crispy and hot. It was a good size burger so I felt satisfied with the meal. I think this really is the best burger in Fresno. It is consistantly delicious. Shredded lettuce, chopped onion, toasted bun. Their onion rings come with about 4-5 massive rings in a small order. The onion rings are super crispy and they are one onion ring, rather than chopped onion pieces. Crinkle cut fries and cherry syrup/cherry coke. All so good!!! read more

Very solid choice if you're driving down the 99 and want something other than a mass chain joint. You can tell it's a locals favorite - I'd been a little concerned by one of the reviews - but it looked very diverse and everyone was friendly when we were there. I went with the cheese burger and fries - that's my basic starter for any new place. Service was pretty quick and we both liked our meals. On another note, it's interesting to eat across from a cool cemetery - it gives you a chance to put things into perspective...especially during covid. While this part of the state is probably more conservative, everyone was following protocols and we felt safe. Nice vintage style to the architecture. read more

Triangle is my favorite place to get a chili dog! The regular size is pretty large in it's own. I ask for extra onions extra cheese and always add lots of mustard. I've had the grilled chicken sandwich (when I'm eating healthier) and sometime I'll get a burger if I'm in the mood for one. Their crinkle cut fries pair well with everything on the menu! Not a lot of seating to choose from on the outside, but the picnic tables are shaded. My favorite lunch spot on this side of town. Go see for yourself! :) read more

Can't remember when I started to eat here, but it has to be over 9-10 years ago. Absolutely love the homemade vanilla coke! The cheeseburgers and fries combo is perfect, but as Sally O said, if your hungry order a double since the meat is a bit thin. Just recently I tried the fried shrimp, fired zucchini and fried mushrooms; all very flavorful. Restaurant also clean and plenty of parking outside. Triangle Drive-In is 50 years old. I'm 61. Never the twain have met until today when my friend of 33 years took me there for lunch. Definitely a blast from the past. Nothing fancy, just good driven-in food, not fast food. Really nice counter clerk, too. As previously reported, Triangle has crushed ice, which I appreciate. Eat in or take it out. It looks like this place once had car-hop service but now it's just covered parking. Triangle stays busy, and with a 50-year history, you know they are doing it right. read more

Triangle Drive In is an institution. It's been around for over 70 years and is located right off Highway 99. It reminds me of an old school drive in movie theatre, where you pull up to a spot, get out, and order at a long counter. They're known for their burgers (~$3-5), but I ordered the much-Yelped about mushroom poppers (~$3.50). They came out piping hot and fried just right, but they don't give you very many. I'll have to update this review when I stop by for a burger. The neighborhood is the greatest, but it's a good stop if you're looking for some decent food. Probably a good idea to order the double. The fries are crinkle cut perfection. My partner ordered the chocolate milkshake and it was delicious. Chocolaty, thick and super cold. Definitely a must try if you are a milk shake fan. Yes, this place has been around for a lifetime and if you want an old fashioned burger this is a good option... I love the fact that it's trying to start traditional to the old ways (better ways) kind of reminds me of the movie dazed and confused. In a good way. The burger is wrapped with the yellow paper and put in a paper sack love that. It does take a little time to get your order and the root beer is barques not home made but it's fine just in not so great area but The food is worth t and it's a little on the pricey side but you got to pay for quality. Ordered the Jumbo Burger Combo with Onion Rings. The establishment has a nice atmosphere, 50's dinner-ish with music. My three stars are for the Burger rating only. The patty has good flavor but is a bit on the thin size. The sauce they use adds nice flavor and the veggies are fresh. Not a big fan of shredded lettuce in general as either too much or too lettuce is put on the burger. With the thin patty the lettuce (a bit too much) and pickles tend to be the dominant flavors. Will go back if in the area and craving a burger, but wouldn't make a special trip to go there. read more
