6/04/24 On a veggie burger kick! Lol! I called and ordered a a veggie burger with no sauce and a large onion ring(to share with mother) with ketchup and hot sauce. The worker was kind and said it would be ready. I went to get it shortly later. Very nice worker after a short wait in line to pick up. Order ready and he included ketchup & hot sauce just like asked. They have outside seating, parking seating and inside seating also. Music playing also! Lunchtime! Veggie burger was Really Delicious! Fresh veggies toppings, tasty veggie burger and even better with the Tapatio to spice it up! Onion rings were Great too' nice crunch and more tasty with ketchup & Tapatio. Mother really enjoyed her onion rings that she had with ranch too!! It's a lot of onion rings. Leftovers also!! Good service & Great lunch! Highly recommended!! read more

Triangle Drive in - Burgers Near Me - Fresno, California

I hadn't visited Triangle Burger in 15 years, though I used to come here frequently when I was younger. Today, while passing by Triangle Burger, I was drawn in by the enticing smell and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I regret that decision. I ordered two combos: the Combo #12 BOB Burger and the Combo #3 Double Jumbo Burger. Both burgers were poorly cooked, and the Combo #12 had a particularly strange odor. After one bite, I had to throw it away--it was pretty burnt. On top of that, they failed to include some of the items I paid for, including a pastrami sandwich. For a total of $30, the experience was disappointing, to say the least. I will never order from here again. If you're in the area, you're better off going down the street to Red Onion instead. read more

It's a cute place. A lot of vintage decor. The prices are very read as well. The burgers were huge and juicy. read more

Excellent food, great music, staff is always friendly. Takes you back in time!!! Always a great time when we eat here.

I loved the look of the place, a vintage drive in diner. However I wanted a malt and the staff apologized, saying the ice cream maker was down. I hit Burger Time in Merced. read more

Great shakes in under 5 minutes! We ordered a strawberry and a banana. Friendly employees. Thanks!

Triangle Burger has solid food and the burgers are definitely worth a try. The quality is good and the portions are fair for the price. However, I would say the staff should be a little more careful with how they talk to customers -- a small comment or attitude can change the whole experience. Other than that, it's a good place to grab a bite and I'd still recommend it for the food. read more

Good burger and onion rings. We'll be back. Triangle gets a thumbs up from us. Pleasant atmosphere and good service. The senior discount doesn't hurt either. read more

There burgers & crinkle fries are the best. Highly recommend. Have been many times and the food never disappoints

I prepaid my order online full amount. When I get there they advised me that there was a balance. The cashier couldn't explain it, it was completely frustrating. My order said ready at 12:22 pm we had to wait additional 15 minutes past the time it said to be ready. It was so inconvenient. Definitely not making this stop again. Food was mediocre. I didn't expect good customer service here obviously but a little common sense of some service would be nice. I wouldn't recommend this spot. Especially because the service was bad, it outweighed the food service. read more

With several locations locally, this makes a great option when the lines are too long at In-N-Out (+ more menu options and the crispy Triangle fries are waaay better than the bland flaccid paste tubes at I-N-O!) read more

Solid good burgers. The patties are heavy so you get your money's worth. A very light seasoning so you don't get saturated with salt before you even finish it. Perhaps it could be a little too light for some. Fresh onions and tomatoes, and great service. I ordered a double. Then I checked to make sure that it was no cheese. Then when our order was ready to pick up, he said "and a double with EXTRA cheese" and we all laughed! read more

An Excellent Burger! Great friendly service too. The counter area was very clean and everybody was smiling. Great job!

There's something about this place. Every time I'm in this area I have to stop by and grab one of the burgers or hot pastrami sandwiches. The french fries are the best around! The customer service is always good and the food is always fresh! There's nothing on the menu that isn't good. read more

Great menu. I had the #2 combo with onion rings. Very tasty and I like the flavor. Will be back to try other combos

My food was ready in a short amount of time! I was super happy because I had a late lunch and was starving. I ordered their jumbo cheeseburger and a side of fries and I went to town with it. The patty was juicy and well flavored. My fries were crispy and hot. It was a good size burger so I felt satisfied with the meal. Didn't even know Triangle had this location until I was in the area looking for food. They have one located on first and Barstow by Hoover High School. read more

I think this really is the best burger in Fresno. It is consistantly delicious. Shredded lettuce, chopped onion, toasted bun. Their onion rings come with about 4-5 massive rings in a small order. The onion rings are super crispy and they are one onion ring, rather than chopped onion pieces. Crinkle cut fries and cherry syrup/cherry coke. All so good!!! read more

Very solid choice if you're driving down the 99 and want something other than a mass chain joint. You can tell it's a locals favorite - I'd been a little concerned by one of the reviews - but it looked very diverse and everyone was friendly when we were there. I went with the cheese burger and fries - that's my basic starter for any new place. Service was pretty quick and we both liked our meals. On another note, it's interesting to eat across from a cool cemetery - it gives you a chance to put things into perspective...especially during covid. While this part of the state is probably more conservative, everyone was following protocols and we felt safe. Nice vintage style to the architecture. read more

Good food horrible area. The area is rough zombies walk the parking lot a night, night of the living dead.

Classic drive in Diner good burgers good chili dog crinkle cut fries delicious ice cream a bit pricey but that's the times now unfortunately I would go there to go back in time when food was good. read more

Wow this was amazing my parents took me here for lunch. I was blown away at how tasty and juicy my burger was. Service was excellent and they had many great options to choose. The only thing to be aware of is the area of town it is located in is kinda shady but totally worth the visit. Highly recommend this place for a fantastic burger! read more

Great burgers! Very nice, helpful and fast service! Lose one star for the fact that there was an extremely drunk homeless man muttering to himself on the bench out front, hookers and pimps coming in and out using the restroom, (obviously that's their corner) one was out on the road trying to find herself a man.... oh and a man trying to sell his smashed beer can for more dope, all the while holding out his arm with blood running down his arm. It was dinner with a show!! read more

Triangle has been in Fresno for a long time. Their food is consistent and quick. They serve the classic burger and fries from your typical mom n pop burger joint. The burgers and fries are great. I haven't tried their milkshakes yet but I hear they're really good. You can't go wrong with Triangle. read more

Triangle is my favorite place to get a chili dog! The regular size is pretty large in it's own. I ask for extra onions extra cheese and always add lots of mustard. I've had the grilled chicken sandwich (when I'm eating healthier) and sometime I'll get a burger if I'm in the mood for one. Their crinkle cut fries pair well with everything on the menu! Not a lot of seating to choose from on the outside, but the picnic tables are shaded. My favorite lunch spot on this side of town. Go see for yourself! :) read more

Hands down 5 stars! My family and I love this place, the food is always freshly made to order and never have had a bad experience. Can't remember when I started to eat here, but it has to be over 9-10 years ago. Absolutely love the homemade vanilla coke! The cheeseburgers and fries combo is perfect, but as Sally O said, if your hungry order a double since the meat is a bit thin. Just recently I tried the fried shrimp, fired zucchini and fried mushrooms; all very flavorful. Restaurant also clean and plenty of parking outside. There also is plenty of entertainment outside and down parkway boulevard. It is like your watching an episode of Cops, but up close and personal. Enjoy :) read more

Triangle Drive-In is 50 years old. I'm 61. Never the twain have met until today when my friend of 33 years took me there for lunch. Definitely a blast from the past. Nothing fancy, just good driven-in food, not fast food. Really nice counter clerk, too. As previously reported, Triangle has crushed ice, which I appreciate. Eat in or take it out. It looks like this place once had car-hop service but now it's just covered parking. Triangle stays busy, and with a 50-year history, you know they are doing it right. read more

Triangle Drive In is an institution. It's been around for over 70 years and is located right off Highway 99. It reminds me of an old school drive in movie theatre, where you pull up to a spot, get out, and order at a long counter. They're known for their burgers (~$3-5), but I ordered the much-Yelped about mushroom poppers (~$3.50). They came out piping hot and fried just right, but they don't give you very many. I'll have to update this review when I stop by for a burger. The neighborhood is the greatest, but it's a good stop if you're looking for some decent food. Their hours are 10-8pm seven days a week. read more

This place is like walking straight into a diner in the 50's. Really cool vibe inside with all the old pics on the wall and period music. Walk up ordering outside and lots of seating outside. Price makes this a great deal. Single burger, fries, drink $8. Not bad!! Crinkle cut CRISPY fries and awesome grill flavor in the burger. read more

Ordered the combo with fries and a cheeseburger. It's cooked fresh and is served hot. Onions, pickles and lettuce. An old fashioned burger. The cons.... Very thin patty and just not a lot of meat... Probably a good idea to order the double. The fries are crinkle cut perfection. My partner ordered the chocolate milkshake and it was delicious. Chocolaty, thick and super cold. Definitely a must try if you are a milk shake fan. Yes, this place has been around for a lifetime and if you want an old fashioned burger this is a good option... That being said, I prefer Mom's on Clinton for that type of burger. read more

I love the fact that it's trying to start traditional to the old ways (better ways) kind of reminds me of the movie dazed and confused. In a good way. The burger is wrapped with the yellow paper and put in a paper sack love that. It does take a little time to get your order and the root beer is barques not home made but it's fine just in not so great area but The food is worth t and it's a little on the pricey side but you got to pay for quality. I'll be coming back here before I go home loved the chard grill flame kissed taste. The pickles were kind of week need to go back to 100% straight dill but I got no complaints read more

Triangle Drive in - 1950's dinner but yet it says established in 1963 lol wtf BAD MATH??? - Burgers Near Me - Fresno, California

Ordered the Jumbo Burger Combo with Onion Rings. The establishment has a nice atmosphere, 50's dinner-ish with music. My three stars are for the Burger rating only. The patty has good flavor but is a bit on the thin size. The sauce they use adds nice flavor and the veggies are fresh. Not a big fan of shredded lettuce in general as either too much or too lettuce is put on the burger. With the thin patty the lettuce (a bit too much) and pickles tend to be the dominant flavors. Will go back if in the area and craving a burger, but wouldn't make a special trip to go there. read more

The quality of food has gone down tremendously. I ordered a patty melt and received it with what was pre cooked patty and a slice of fake cheese like a craft single. The fries were very overcooked and we're almost not even able to be eaten. I've came here many times but after this last time I will not be returning. Save the extra money and just go to McDonald's. read more
