At first sight, chili cheese fries looked normal. There was a signature burger top of the menu with an onion ring and bacon, cheese, lettuce, and tomato, pickles and onion. Everything look great until I took a bite. My first bite I noticed a weird taste. I think it was some kind of cleaning agent or solvent, second bite relieved me of eating the entire burger. Yes it was definitely not supposed to be in that burger. So nowadays you gotta ask yourself what is a burger because it's not 100% beef. This mystery meat is starting to flow throughout our food chain, and everyone is getting it. I'm not sure you should be eating this stuff, because it tastes synthetic like plastic, and eating mystery meat is not a good thing just because they wanna cut cost, doesn't mean you should be eating it. The chili was canned chili, soy protein, not beef. And I was immediately compromised on my ride home when my stomach started bubbling from the milkshake an the food I ate. I had to go to the restroom as soon as I got home meanwhile, the service is excellent. The dining area is clean, but I'm scared of the food.

Tuesday special is the avocado bacon burger combo

I asked them to please, well seasoned my food and they did not disappoint. My fries were perfectly golden crispy soften the inside, not soggy on the outside. And the burger OMG first off the garden is so fresh. The lettuce is crispy crunchy. This is real Bacon cooked to perfection.. and the freshest avocados. Everything was made fresh when I ordered it. The service in the drive-through was friendly. I enjoyed my meal so much. I came back the next day and it was still a flavor punch in the mouth. Get your food La Westside style WELL SEASONED!!

This is the worker who decided my clients weren't worthy of basic respect.

My very first and last time here and I brought in my clients with disabilities for lunch here today and had an ABSOLUTELY horrendous experience. The staff not only acted like our clients were a nuisance but also required him to show proof of his purchase as we watched NO other customers have to do so. Mind you, they serve your DRINK first. Staff chose to demand our client with the most visible disability to question. When we inquire we were told "it's policy". So I watched as the lunch rush came in and not a single customer after was asked to go back to their seat and provide a receipt to receive their food. They continued to speak about our group and made it obvious by glancing at our table and being short with our clientele when they asked for condiments and refills. Had our clients not already ordered we would have left the establishment but they were so excited and picked this place for lunch. It's disheartening that a local town establishment would think it's acceptable to treat ANYONE like this.

3/25/24 Getting lunch! Two veggie cheese burgers with 2 onion rings ordered in the drive-thru. Quite a bit of a wait and there was only one car in front of us. Luckily, the worker was kind. Paid for it with well wishes! They are currently out of ketchup. =/ Lunchtime! My veggie burger was really good! Fresh veggies & tasty veggie burger. Onion rings were pretty good too! Crunchy & better with ketchup! Plus, I had leftovers! Mother really enjoyed hers too & she really liked the sauces that came with it! Good service & really good veggie burgers & onion rings! Recommended!!

I've always wanted to try this place in person and finally got the chance too. Me and my fiancée got the queen frosty combos and they were very good, super big portions and a decent price point, good for lunch or dinner, I also got a milkshake and it was was very good and I'm glad that the portions are very generous considering big chains charging more for the same sizes the price definitely feels right here. The service was adequate with prompt service and kind behavior. I did stay and eat and I will say that this is definitely somewhere you'll probably just wanna take your food to-go, leaking roofs and dirty floors and tables, not to mention the area boarding Downtown Fresno it's definitely not the safest area or the biggest or cleanest store, decor is minimal as well but, we managed to clean our own table and there is even some outdoor seating in a gated area so it's not all that bad, they have a bathroom but I did not use it. Overall, the food is well worth a trip down here, they do have a drive thru so, a stop and go trip is definitely possible, they have great prices, deals, and generous portions, I always considered this place rival to foster freeze and seeing how most of those places are gone, there's a reason Frosty Queen has withstood the test of time. Come here if you're looking for some Classic American Cuisine. RECOMMENDED.

Quick service and good food for a quick lunch with the wifey!!! She brought us here because of this item specifically !!!

They struggle with the most simple of orders and don't check anything. Still messed up my order after repeating it FIVE times...

Frosty Queen = Passive/aggressive, indifferent 'race to the bottom' first time stop I wish I had skipped! Having seen the reviews and knowing that the wait times can be long here, I drove over today and was the FIRST and ONLY car at the window when they opened. I'm thinking awesome, there's no pressure on either party and I'll have their full attention as a new customer. What I ordered: Double Bacon Cheeseburger, extra sauce, pickles and onions (everything else left on it). I also ordered a large fry and specified that I didn't want the combo because I don't drink soda. Despite repeating the order twice, the gentleman on the speaker could not understand what I'd ordered and asked me to drive to the window. Sure. At the window, this gentlemen again struggled to understand what I'd ordered and we went through it 3 times. Fine, f i n a l l y , whatever it takes! The burger and the fry were just shy of $12.00. NOT cheap... What I received: The burger had one slice of bacon on it and could barely be tasted, there were no extra pickles and a dot of sauce on the dry bun. It wasn't spread out and certainly wasn't 'extra' as I had ordered. The beef was flavorless without seasoning. No one bothered to check that my 'customized' request was followed during the making of or expediting process. It wasn't even listed on the receipt I posted. The fries were a dark brown and tasted of OLD dirty oil and left a 'exceeded shelf life' aftertaste in my mouth. Thoughts: This middle eastern guy at the speaker and the window was not unfriendly but I'm not understanding why they're putting their weaker English speaking guy in the order taking position?? Does NOT bode well for wrong orders and frustrations throughout the day. Apparently, that would start with the very first customer. Me! As the FIRST and only customer at the restaurant, it's hard to excuse them not making the burger right or checking it. There's no excuse for the bad oil that is 10 days or more past it's recommended quality usage cycle. At best it's cheap and at worst, just pure lazy. The burger was okay but would have been great had it been made as ordered. Not into a dry burger. And having paid almost $12.00 for this meal, I'm disappointed. So much so that I don't see myself returning. I've seen some nasty blowback from this establishment when they are criticised and will certainly expect the same here. Bottom line, I was a first-time customer at your establishment, there was NO one else at the location, no pressure, no rush period to contend with and I expected better. Had your oil been changed and the burger made as requested, this might have easily been a 4-star review. I could have forgiven the communication issue if after 5 times of going through the simple order it had been made correctly. But, it was not! These things--if folks care--could be fixed fairly easily and so it it hoped that my content directs you into action, better training, checking things, changing your oil more frequently. All of which would result in a smoother operation with a higher level of satisfaction and generally more pleasant working conditions for your staff and restaurant. Do these things and you'll be making even MORE $$. Update: Within minutes of posting this review I received a NASTY, blaming, pvt message from the owner calling me a 'racist and telling me not to come again' (2 days in a row!). Sadly, I picture a WARZONE of hassles, bad management, an indifferent staff, wrong orders, angry customers, miscommunications and a shell shocked sub-par manager intent on turning customers into actual enemies when all that was expected was a basic, "Sorry, will try harder next time." "Psst. it's called 'aces in their places' meaning you don't put folks with weak communication skills on the drive through speaker and the order counter. I simply pointed out that english isn't his primary language as evidenced by the F I V E TIMES I had to repeat the order! Not only did he struggle with a simple order, he looked like a 'deer caught in the headlights' while trying to understand the order. So, why is HE taking the orders??? Had you the professionalism to actually require employees to wear a nametag, such a description would not have been necessary. I was referring to ONE man, NOT 'ALL men of middle eastern descent' as you lashed out in your message to me. Get it right. At $2.00 expectations are lower than those that are at $12.00. Regardless, expecting the food to be made right is not unreasonable. Stop blaming EVERYONE who tries to actually help your business by pointing out legitimate criticisms. Your snotty message makes folks want to go out of their way to badmouth your business. And they will ALWAYS remember you striking out when you didn't need to, BLAMING the customer while TOTALLY discrediting their experience and excusing yourself. YOU blew it. Start taking some responsibility and improving! -G

The most ugly salad I've ever gotten. Absolutely horrible, literally threw all of burger toppings in a container. Disgusting

The location does have one restroom inside for customers and plenty of seating indoors and some outdoors too. Location and restroom were very clean and staff were very friendly! I decided to try two flavors since I was only passing through and couldn't easily come back to try it again. I got two of their monthly flavors, the sweet corn and the treasure chest. The sweet corn lacked flavor, you can only get a hint of it. There were a few corn pieces mixed in, but they were few and far between, plus they didn't have a strong corn flavor either. I loved the concept but execution was disappointing. The treasure chest was very good, though I personally wished there was a more even ratio of brown butter cookie to brownie. I can't recall if I even got any brownie pieces. Flavor was excellent otherwise. The other complaint that I have is that the scoop is small. As you can see from my photo, my two scoops looked like 1 scoop. Not worth the price. I know competitors like Han**ls, where I'm a regular at, have given bigger scoops. All in all, still a great quality ice cream.

This place reminds me of SomiSomi chain, but to be honest, I think Nummy Yummy is better. All of the staff here are super nice, patient, and always willing to answer your questions. I've come here a lot and have yet to come across a grumpy staff member (haha). The location is in the corner of the RN Market plaza. There is plenty of parking, but I wish they hadn't taken away the indoor seating. There is nowhere to dine in and sit other than the dirty bench outside. I see the majority of people just eating in their car. I hope they decide to offer more flavors and toppings. The various Asian flavors are a hit, and a suggestion box from the public could be an idea. We were in town the morning after seeing the Firefail. Finally success on the third visit attempt. Amongst other shops on the desolate street stood an unremarkable window front where the repeat button has remained on since the 60s. Within was an eclectic mix of Japanese American household fixtures and Americana. Rustic. Nothing like Benkyodo's proper shelf presentation - or a hamburga stand. Some Japanese goods were on offer, but you come here for something sweet. We got a couple of mochi and manju, traditional red bean flavors, because that's all that was left. Their manju, seeming to have a different "batter" and "panini"-grilled, had a crumbly texture. The mochi though... Have you seen that viral video of that slapping mochi shop in Nara? What about people enjoying it? How soft it was, leaving a vegan cheese pull with every bite? This was by far the softest mochi I've ever had, and I thoroughly enjoyed the soy dusted yomogi. The bigger size of the mochi also accentuated the softness of the mochi. The matcha, also green, had a distincting different flavor, just so you know that the shop wasn't cheating. My partner in crime loved the lima bean mochi. The red bean filling tasted homemade, good flavor but not too sweet - the best compliment you can give an Asian in a world that remains overrun by pollo ala naranja. We are proud* that such a heritage perseveres on, especially in a part of town that's honestly become quite desecrated of life. Call ahead to see if the shop is open, and try to come early. The shop is a one woman show, and if my first two visits say anything, this lady enjoys having a life. And yes, she does sell out. She was nearly sold out when we visited. And try to enjoy the mochi ASAP. The mochi will last in the fridge. The texture will not. If you come at the right time of the year, the shop will have mochi in different fruit and pie flavors, and even ice cream mochi. *OK, "I'm proud of you" might be a bigger compliment to an Asian.
