When you enter, it was pretty full, so there wasn't music playing...just the sound of conversations and staff working hard and productively. The ambiance is very country, with appreciation for the veterans and military service members. I heard a man saying he saw himself in a picture they had up in the restaurant. It was heartwarming to hear. When we sat down, we immediately were met with a server who took our drink orders. Shortly after, about 5 minutes, our server, Nancy G, checked in and took our orders. Once I did find parking and I arrived in the restaurant, I was able to get a seat at the counter where I place my order to dine in. My server for the day was Brett. Brett assisting me right away asked me if I needed anything and let me told me to let me know when I was ready to place my order. I told Brett that I wanted the Stack 'em breakfast which I selected the pancakes, scrambled eggs, and the ham. As I was patiently waiting for my order, I received the eggs and ham, and then I received waffles instead of the pancakes I ordered. I was informed that they ordered the waffles instead of my pancake, and their mistake. I would have to wait longer for pancakes my inital order. I was able to speak with the supervisor on duty, was Paulina. I immediately form Paulina. There was a mistake with my order and I did not receive my complete order as requested. I thought this place was alright. We were seated after like 20 minutes, and the service was okay. I felt like they forgot we were there several times, kept having to get their attention for basic things like water. I even had to get their attention for the check, but eventually decided to go up to the front ourselves to pay. Food felt okay, and I got their biscuit gravy, and if you love gravy, this is probably the place to be. They have a heavy hand with the gravy which can be nice. Also ordered Stack ' em Ups, pancakes and kid's Chicken Tenders. Waffles were by far the star of the show. Just how it should be, crisp on the outside, and warm and sweet on the inside for each bite. Young man who greeted and sat us was very polite and accommodating gave my wife and I great service. I grabbed a good ol bacon burger cooked perfectly, with toppings at my selection. Ever since this place extended their hours the food and place has went down! 1- The restrooms were filthy. Toilet paper on the floor, dirty toilets, overall terrible. 2- Only young men were working and not one of them swept the floor or cleaned the dining area.
