Found this hidden gem cafe in the Old Fig area. Great service staff was polite and provided insight of the place. I ended up getting a coconut Carmel brownie and cinnamon rolls. So good. 10/17/24 Hoping to give a better review to make up for the last one. Plus, trying breakfast and a dinner option. Ordered on DoorDash a lemon bar, ham, egg white breakfast burrito and Cinnamon Pecan Coffee Cake. Paid for it. They were already closed. Set it up for tomorrow morning to pick up. 10/18/24 Friday already! Arrived to pick up! Really Great! Greeted upon entering and they had cinnamon rolls that wasn't on DoorDash. I had to buy one of those too! The worker was great upon entering. Told me they had a customer take all of the cinnamon rolls so they took them off DoorDash. Must be Really Great! Look forward to trying it! Anyways, paid for the cinnamon roll and breakfast order for Sunday & dinner treat was ready to go and left. Great! Cute little place. All of their treats on display to tease you with & pick from! You can enjoy inside or outside seating too! Happy Sunday everyone! Breakfast split! 1/2 of the breakfast burrito was Really DELICIOUS! I've heard so much about this cute little bakery that I wanted to try at least something from here. After having a delicious breakfast at the breakfast house my mom and I walked over to this bakery. I bought the peanut butter brownie and took it home. When I took my first bite out of it, I could not believe how delicious it was. It is the absolute best brownie I've ever had and the price is so reasonable. I will definitely visit this place again and try the many other reasonably priced items. read more

cute little bakery & café. for breakfast we've tried their bagels, blueberry apricot muffins & the monte christo croissant sandwich. their no bake cheesecake is one of the best! they're really all so good, made fresh out of the oven & are just perfect for breakfast before heading out to run errands. their mochas are always perfect & their strawberry lemonade is so good. they also have a tiny little corner with gift items like mugs, pens, pins, and cute locally made items. customer service is usually great, although one time we went, a lady was super grumpy when they first opened like she needed to get back to bed. that wasn't a nice experience that day, but overall it's great. read more

Review is for Thanksgiving Coconut Cream Pie only ... while I want to give 5 stars, I can't because we received what tasted like the base of a custard, whipped cream and coconut sprinkles on the top. I actually thought my pie was mislabeled because it tastes like the custard I make for banana pudding before putting in the bananas and Nila wafers. While yummy, it wasn't a "coconut" cream pie. Everyone thought the pie was good, but wouldn't known it was coconut. Not one morsel or coconut IN the custard. One of my guest sliced up bananas to add to it! I did contact the owner seeing as it was a holiday order. Sent pics and everything. Would think she would offer to replace it for a different pie ... guess not. I really needed something sweet so I wanted to try something new. I got a cinnamon roll and it was sooooo soft and yummy. They warmed it up for me and I ate it about 20 seconds after I left. This bakery gives me feelings of a southern cafe even though I've never been to one! There's something about it that's so sweet and comforting. It's clean and well kept, there's a good size offering. The cold cases have pastries on hand but not overflowing so I wouldn't be surprised if they sell out of goods often. They have a little retail corner with take home items, premade cookies, seasonings etc. The ladies working were nice but not overly welcoming, no buttering up just straight to business. A little bit on the pricier side(no more than frosted) but for the shopping center location you can't expect otherwise. I will definitely come back for more baked goods and want to try their hot menu items as well! read more

This is a small coffee shop nuzzled in the corner of a few boutique shops off of Bullard and West. The coffee shop has items for sale like a boutique. There is a pastry counter, they sell sandwiches and of course hot and cold coffee drinks. I saw they had a cute flyer for a Valentine's Day dinner. We we very pleased with the ease of ordering, pickup service that followed all protocols, and best of all, delicious food that provided plenty of leftovers. Turkey, dressing, green beans, mashed potatoes, and gravy all packaged for safe transport and easy reheating. Then there was a fabulous banana cream pie for dessert. Cool little place hidden back in the corner of this strip mall. This shopping center is overrun by senior citizens, mostly women. Don't let that scare you away, but be ready for a fun time in the cramped poorly designed parking lot. It's worth it to get to BooBoo Bean. Sandwiches, pastries, banana bread, it's all delicious. The banana bread is one of our favorites. She cooks it with the walnuts on top so if you don't want the nuts or you're allergic you can just not eat them but still enjoy the bread. We pretty much go in and grab what our eyes lead us to. Thinking about getting some delivery since we learned they're hooked up with DoorDash. This is a good place. Great experience at BooBoo Bean! I ordered the Angry Tri-Tip which came with a side of salad . The sandwich came out hot and toasty which melted my cheese all the way through! Loved it! The meat was nicely seasoned and also had some banana pepper in it. Simply made and simply amazing. The salad was fresh and has carrots and tomatoes in it with your choice of dressing. This meal definitely satisfied my craving. To top it off, I had a pumpkin spice snickernoodle cookie and that was fantastic. It's a little moist in the middle and the cookie itself was a real treat. Everything was delicious. Also got goodies of course. Blueberry muffin, banana chocolate chip loaf so moist abs flavorful! And the service was awesome.
