I haven't had Jersey Mikes for a while due to their mediocre services. Today I was in a mood for some subs above; instead, I got some of the worst customer service ever from this location on Bullard & Blackstone in Fresno, CA. It was super busy, and when I walked in, no one really greeted me because they were swamped with customers. When it was finally my turn to order, the Caucasian woman with the glasses looked pissed off and didn't say sorry for the long wait and no smiles or anything. I told her I'm ordering 2 giant sandwiches, and I insisted that she write my order down on a piece of paper. Instead, she replied, "No, I don't mess up on customer orders." Her coworkers had to ask her a few times about my order because she didn't bother to write it down. When she rang me up, she asked if I needed a bag for my 2 giant sandwiches. Without saying it out loud, I'm like, "No, really, I'm just going to carry it out like a caveman." SMDH. These fast food workers, they don't deserve to make $20.00 something an hour; more like $8.00 an hour for their bad, mediocre customer service. I recommend going to the Friant location of the 41 freeway, or if you're near N. Riverside next to the 99 freeway, it's 10X much better. read more

What a way to start off my first sandwich in 2023 then at Jersey Mike's! Was torn between the #13 The Original Italian and of course, the #17 Mike's Famous Philly; went with the #17. My wife got the #7 Turkey and Provolone in a mini and I got mine in a Giant Size. Pro Tip: if you haven't opened an online account; do it now! They might give you a freebie or points for a free sandwich. Haven't logged in a few years since I've been here, had points for a free Giant Sub! Also Pro Tip: if you're a light eater, then a giant can definitely feed 4. If you're used to footlong subs from subway or anywhere else, it's the size of a footlong if not an inch or two more. Service was great, the gentleman who took and made my sandwich was very friendly, plus he made my sandwich incredible! Closest cheesesteak I'll get to actually being in Philly! The manager came in and she was also very nice, made my wife's sandwich and she did an Amazing job! Ambiance was nice, we showed up right when they opened so it was quiet inside, minus the music they had playing. It was music I like "alternative rock/ rock music" so bonus points from me. But.. my wife did use the restroom here and said it literally smelled like a sewer and if someone took a fresh dump lol. So minus the restroom, I would definitely come back! Went to jersey Mike's last night March 8th at around 8pm. Walked in was greeted a very poor greeting. A person came from the back asked wjat i wanted i told her. As she was aggressively slamming the deli meat on the bread the other person told me the total. I took my wallet out and handed her a 100.00 bill and very rudely the other one said we don't take hundreds. I asked why..... and without hesitation she said we're in blackstone I dont know if its real or not. I took offense because I work hard for my money and I told her just that. She responded dude we get fake ones all the time so we dont take them. I responded..... my name isn't dude....... I am a customer you can call me sir beat this point i was already upset and offended..... she got closer as she was running her mouth so I started in on her. She then told me if I was going to get attitude I can leave. I told her she was the one who had attitude. Then she kicked me out. I got mad said some ahit then she said fuk yu flipped me the middle finger and continued till I left. I've never ever been treated like this by a worker before. I don't know if she was upset because she had to work or because it was rhe end of the night but there was no call for her nasty unprofessional manner. Hope she gets fired. Here's how I roll: Small Roast beef and provolone on white: Pay cafeful attention now, that our love might grow stronger (my sami and me). PRIOR to putting the meat on: 1) Lather up both sides of the bread with mayo 2) Lay down pickles on both sides of the bead (embed in the mayo) And now, continue... 3) Meat it, salt it and pepper it silly 4) Pepperoncini it 5) Cheese it 5) Tomato, onion and lettuce it 6) Squish it all down. Yes, you heard that right. Harder! 7) Cut in half Generally they do a swell job following my enthusiastic lead. Well...a friend of mine from Jersey said she really liked this place..."just like home." And it wasn't bad...good bread, oil and vinegar etc. But the meats seemed pretty bland/processed to me. Or maybe I'm just used to Piemonte's and Sam's, my go-tos. I did appreciate that they offer small, medium, and OMG sizes. Disclaimer: I only went once, so this is based on the only sandwich I tried. The worker was nice and welcoming. Easy to talk to. In a wrap phase. They are yummy! Ordered their Baja chicken wrap. You get 3 choices of what wrap you want. Wheat, spinach or tomato wrap. Chose wheat. Took the order to go. The order took a little while, but the worker handed it over with a smile and best wishes for a good day! The Baja chicken wrap was really good! Sandwich was pretty good. I got the regular size Famous Philly. No peppers or onions for me, so it ended up just being meat and cheese. The meat was tender. The cheese was mild, not overpowering. Warm and chewy sandwich roll. Miss Vickie's and Lays chips. No jalapeño chips in sight today. Pepsi products for the soft drinks. Next time I'll try a cold sub with some veggies on it. The subs are great and this rating has nothing to do with the food. I ordered and paid through the app which was very convenient. I get there and my food was ready. I asked if I could buy a large cup of ice because it was 95 degrees today and my pre-menopausal self was dying. The girl says she has to charge for the cup. The disposable paper cup. I said that's fine. She rings me up and says the total is $3.19. I said wait, you mean you have to charge me for the whole drink if I'm only getting ice? She said yes then apologized because her manager is very strict about it. She offers me a small plastic Dixie cup and said I could have that for free. That was nice except it was big enough to hold about 3 ice chips that would have completely turned into steam the second I walked out the door. I thanked her but declined and told her I wouldn't be buying the disposable paper cup for $3.19. I could go buy two big bags of ice for the same price. Had a excellent Father's Day in for dinner did not want nothing heavy. My wife recommended will try this place which I happily obliged. I want a good sangwich but why does stay away from the skimpy Subway type places. We were greeted by friendly people and even some customers with smiles on their faces as they enjoyed their sandwiches. I had the mikes special number 9 which was huge even as a Mini perion healthy amounts of ingredients and A-blast a flavor made me quite happy. This place is delicious and the app is fairly user friendly. In the past, I've always had accurate orders and exceptional food and service. Unfortunately, the last two times with the app have yielded inaccurate orders. Which is confusing since the app gives an exact print out of the order that they tape to the bag your food is in. The first time, the receipt on the bag clearly said wrap but I got a sandwich (still tasty just not what I ordered). Similarly, the second time I asked for relish on the side of my wrap, and it was put inside. Difficult to eat because it's so messy but still tasty. I understand there are a lot of challenges to operating right now, but I sure hope they up their game in the order accuracy department, especially since the app makes it so clear. Also, they should add an option to tip on the app as well, I would use the heck out of that rather than handling unsanitary cash. read more

I called in a order and got here to pick it up. The line was out the door. I asked twice if I can just pay since the order was ready and they told me I had to wait since they only had 1 register which is ridiculous. What's the point of calling in a order to be ready and having to wait for everybody else. I won't be coming back here unfortunately since they can't figure out how to ring up more than 1 order at a time. Edit: so I changed my review from 1 star to 4. I came back to work with the wrong order and called them. They gave me someone's else's. They offered to remake it and dropped it off to me and my co workers. Jersey Mikes is one of my favorite sandwich spots because everything tastes fresh. I usually order the the club sub. Turkey meat, ham, cheese, and bacon. Hi Mike & Maxine, This happened on 1/14/18 around 6:30-6:45 p.m. - Maxine (Manager?) has been in touch with me and has been very nice to correct the problem by offering a comped meal. As I told Maxine at the time the Staff was friendly. They were just out of bread. Wheat and Garlic/Parmesan. I took Maxine up on her offer today 1/17/18 at approx. 3:00 P.M. I walked in and a young lady asked if she could help. I asked if Maxine was in she said no she wasn't in today. I told the young lady that Maxine was going to comp a meal for me. The young lady said "Oh are you the one that wrote the review." I said yes. She said fine what would you like, I said a #13 on wheat. Another young lady was going to ring me up asking me if I wanted chips or a drink. I politely said no thank you. ( I had only wanted a sandwich that night so I wasn't going to take advantage of Maxine's gratuity.) The lady making my sub explained to her what was going on so she didn't ring anything up. A young man came up to put the condiments on and I said you were here that night and he said yeah. What would you like on your sandwich . I said everything but pickles and that red sauce. So the gal puts the cold cuts on and slides the sandwich over to the guy. Now you would think he would just do his job but he just had to say something to me because he was there the other night and you could see he was chomping at the bit to say something. He sees it's on wheat and he says in a tone "How come you didn't get the garlic parmesan? I said "What" And he repeats it - "How come you didn't get the garlic parmesan - the young lady who made my sandwich is looking at him. To me it looked like she was looking at him in disbelief. So I said to him "The garlic parmesan was my second choice and Wheat was my first and you were out of both the other night. So he says "If you get here late we run out of bread" I said "It was 6:30 " The conversation made him lose his train of thought. So there he goes putting pickles on my sandwich. I'm telling him no pickles, no pickles. He takes them off then goes over ingredient by ingredient asking for my approval. I just got home from picking up my sandwiches. I was looking forward to this sandwich all day. Jersey Mikes sandwiches are really good. The quality of the ingredients and the fact that they have gluten free bread outstanding and normally I would rate them a 5 every time. I had the correct sandwich and it was on gluten free bread otherwise I would not have been able to eat it. But it had extra mayonnaise which I don't like when I have Mikes way and it did not have the pickles or banana peppers. I would let it go because I love Jersey Mikes but this is the second time in the last couple of months. I would still go back because normally my order is great. read more

I went in there to grab sandwiches for my partner and I after a long day of moving. I've ordered from this location SEVERAL TIMES! I've actually use my Shore Points to redeem items. I walked in at 8:45pm and I was told they only serve chips and drinks as the employee was wrapping up the sandwich items. I was highly disappointed and not only that I stayed in the parking lot trying to contact someone and the open sign went off at 8:50pm. Now I'm not sure who's running this location but y'all need to get it together. Your website says you close at 9pm and I've ran in right before closing and grabbed a sandwich because of my work schedule! Always a good experience. I like getting the Italian sub with light oils. They have a real nice selection of Stubborn Rootbeer and Cream Soda which is a nice change up from the regular options. The music can be awfully loud, and while that makes me sound old, it's strange how loud their speakers are in the restrooms. read more
