There was a kiosk near the entrance, but we ordered at the counter to take advantage of their weekday discounts. Healthcare and military personnel receive discounts on Mondays. While the person at the register was friendly, he was unsure about pricing for modifications and combo orders. Our food took about fifteen minutes to be prepared. *Carne Asada or Nada was more generously filled than at other locations, although the carne asada did not have as much char. The quesadilla was heavier on meat and cheese rather than rice and pico de gallo, making it quite hearty. It paired well with their sauces. My personal favorites are the roasted sour cream, avocado salsa, and cilantro cream. The roasted chili options are flavorful as well, though they are more one dimensional. Quesadilla Gorilla remains a chain I visit occasionally due to its consistent flavors. I have supported Quesadilla Gorilla for years. Today I didn't get the best service or quesadillas. I accidentally ordered 2 meat and cheese quesadillas on the app and was only supposed to order 1 of them. I called after I placed the order and they couldn't refund me. They told me I could on the app, but there wasn't an option for that. I went and picked up my food, came home and my quesadilla that I ordered was horribly made. Barely any toppings, sloppily made. I asked for cilantro and I got cilantro cream which is not my favorite. I like rice and chicken and I barely had any on my quesadillas. Chicken quesadilla- 8/10 on its own the quesadilla is very tasty and with the dipping sauces specifically the cilantro cream it really took it to the next level. The guy who took our order was really friendly and even brought the food to us. The one issue I have (and it's a big one) they do not provide a cup for water. What??? Not even sure that's legal. The employee said they no longer offer this because the had problems. You have to be kidding! They don't even sell bottled water! If you want water, you have to pay for a soda and dispense it. They have kombucha on tap too. They have so much variety with their quesadillas, from the basics to their unique combinations, to even dessert 'dillas! They also have a build your own quesadilla option - where you get to select all your toppings! I tend to choose this route and I LOVE my order: chile verde, cheddar, rice, and habaneros. I was with other people who ordered the same thing and had the same feeling I did, delicious. Well this place is small, the food packs a punch. I was incredibly happy with the experience and would definitely come back. My friends and I got there around 1 PM on a Sunday for lunch. There are quite a few of us, which meant we had to wait just a little bit for the quesadillas, but the wait was well worth it. I made my own quesadilla consisting of shredded beef, fajita veggies, pico de gallo, and grilled red onions. The quesadilla was cooked perfectly, the cheese was nicely melted, and the vegetables were all cooked al dente and not overcooked. I had the choice Of two sauces so I chose the cilantro cream, and something called liquid gold. The liquor gold had a very rich and spicy flavor and was a dark colored sauce. I liked it quite a bit. My friends ordered from their breakfast menu. This thing tasted delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the potatoes were soft, and my friend added chili verde. I really don't think the chili verde was needed, the quesadilla tasted great without it. And honestly, the chili verde wasn't that great. It lacked the traditional flavors that I would expect it to have. Which is fine, just not what I would expect if I ordered it. I will probably avoid the chili verde when I went back. read more

Today I got the build your own quesadilla and opted for a more healthier version with veggies and black beans with vegan cheese and a gluten-free tortilla which is basically the corn tortilla. Been going here since they opened... Sad to say that things seem to have gone a bit downhill over the past year or so. Things typically taste great, but it seems like at least one of the two quesadillas we normally order weren't made properly, they forget an ingredient, or they don't add much to it. Last time we ordered, one of them was so inadequate that I called them about it - they agreed to make another and I drove back from my house to get it. While it's great that they were willing to do that, we got the same order again tonight and found basically the same thing... my quesadilla felt twice as heavy as my wife's (see pictures), and the tiny bit of rice they added to hers was crunchy/undercooked. Also, small side note, but the chips seem to have had zero salt added. Pair all of this with the fact that they are now $13 each, and we're not all that excited about going back anymore. I pulled up to Quesadilla Gorilla on a weekday around lunch time, there was parking available in front of the restaurant. I quickly realized it was right next to Ampersand, so I hoped to like this place more. One stop for dinner and dessert sounds right up my alley! The menu is on the wall, I spent a few minutes figuring out what I wanted to try. Then I spotted it... the sauces! Two come with each quesadilla. I ordered a protein, cheese, fillings and sauce then waited about ten minutes while my order was prepared. I plan to call ahead next time, but for my first experience I wanted to see everything in person. The cilantro cream and the liquid gold were my choices and I never regretted them for a moment. They take this quesadilla up a notch. I want more. Despite driving home a good 20 minutes the food was still delicious. I enjoyed the meal and have been thinking about returning already. If I were to compare this quesadilla to a chain burrito store I would definitely pick this restaurant and I am only comparing food to food. I would love to see them add a salad choice to the menu.
