10/10/25 Getting lunch! Ordered conveniently online and went to pick it up @ the Travel Plaza. Arrived, went right to and worker was busy getting others ready. Waited a little bit, let her know and she finished handing it over to me with a thank you! Lunchtime! Cajun Chicken Sandwich was DELICIOUS with a nice spicy kick. Wheat bun was fresh & GREAT! I placed an online order on Saturday, April 4th, 2026 at about 8:15pm to be picked up at 8:45. The online order went through and I was given a confirmation number (42793930932551681). I got here at 8:35 and waited for a couple minutes until the employee attended me. He advised me that they close at 8:00pm and that they don't accept any orders after that time (despite their website saying that they close at 9:30pm). He said that I would have to cancel the order myself, which seemed odd. I replied that I would rather he cancel it. Hopefully it went through and I get my money back. Management needs to either change their hours on their website to reflect 8:00pm or advise their employees to not close until 9:30pm. Very poor service. read more

I've been here a few times now. The burger is ok, but the fries are bland. The pickles are sweet, which is fine but not indicated in the menu. Service isn't particularly friendly and they close at 9pm which is pretty early for a truck stop. read more

We happened to stop at this burger joint. The food was good. I got a single burger and split Fries with the kids. This place inside a truck stop. A very clean truck stop. Definitely a great place for the whole family. My son who wanted a burger went with the spicy honey chicken sandwich. Let's just say that sandwich is no more. I had heard that Fatburger opened nearby I wanted to try them out, years ago I was in Los Angeles and saw them everywhere. I ordered the single patty with fat frys (steak fries) with a banana milkshake (hand scooped ice cream) and a Crispy Chicken sandwich My meal was good was made after you order, patty on the grill they call out your name when it's ready, I waited about 10-15 minutes. $24 and some change was the total that I don't mind paying when everything is fresh and service is outstanding. Twice in a row now, we have driven for over an hour, each way, only to have to return one of our two burgers for it not being made correctly. It was not a hard order, I just wanted "the works" but instead got absolutely nothing but bun, meat, and cheese... not even condiments! I was treated like they could not fathom why I would want all the veggies on my burger and complained about me wanting what I had ordered. I had to then stand there and after each item they placed on the burger tell them to NOT rewrap it yet. This went on for the lettuce, tomatoes, relish... it was horrible service. read more

My very first time at Fatburger, I have heard good things about it. This location is inside a gas station/rest stop, and it was very clean. Ordering was easy and the guy who took our order was friendly. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because I was charged for bacon that we didn't get. I ordered fat fries and got a bag of mixed fries. I felt like I couldn't fully enjoy the burger because it was loaded for tons of lettuce and tomatoes. But it was definitely delicious. I stopped in at 8:20 pm on Dec 12th. I approached the window, and the cook glanced at me, and proceeded to continue text messaging. I read the menu and was ready to order and indicated so by looking directly at the cook. She continued to text and ignore me. This continued for about 5 minutes, and I now had at least 4 people behind me. I tried to get her attention by clearing my throat but she continued to text. Finally, after about 10 minutes I left. I find this behavior extremely rude and unprofessional and certainly hope that this is not the norm for this location. read more

Tried this place out today I was very impressed everything was very delicious and the size of the burger was huge. They have huge selection of burgers and wings. Next to them is Pizza Hut, KFC, Curry Naan Stop. Along with Cinnabon and a coffee place. Coming soon Yogurt land. We spent $106 plus tip. Burgers were cold and 1 of the burger had a hard bun. We didn't get skinny fries like we ordered. Chicken wing weren't crispy and the spice level wasn't scorching like we ordered. The onion rings and chili fries were average. I will not bring my family back. First of all let me say I'm a big fan of Fat Burger even though I only had my first one about 6 or 7 years ago while in Lake Tahoe. A couple years later I discovered a Fat Burger in a gas station in Livermore CA. and continued to enjoy their wonderful, great tasting humongous hamburgers and fries, sadly that location closed recently. I was excited to learn about the Madera location and couldn't wait to try it, unfortunately the experience was less then I expected. Well. It was clean and looked to be fully staffed with polite/efficient employees. I ordered a western bbq burger that had bacon and an order of fries. The patty itself was so salty. Almost inedible salty. I couldn't finish even half. Why? And the fries had no salt. None at all. So I'm confused. Is this just how they make the food? If I tried it again, can it be ordered without all the extra salt on the patty? read more

I hate leaving bad stars on a new business but the burgers were so terrible! $40 for 2 adults and a child to eat and we all threw our food in the trash. The patties were so dry and completely doused in the worst salt and pepper mixture. I mean completely covered. It was like someone took an entire bottle of Montreal seasoning and dumped it on each patty. So I don't know if it was an accident, but I don't wanna try it again to find out.
