The food was ready very quickly and piping hot. Everything came with fries, Texas Toast, coleslaw, and a drink. Beyond their delicious, juicy and lightly breaded chicken; a must eat is the Texas Toast! Soft and buttery this bread seems out of place at chicken spot, but it works! Shout out to the crinkle cut fries, they are seasoned nicely with a crispy bite. I love coleslaw, but the coleslaw here is way to watery and lacks salt and vinegar. The meals are pricey, but at least your getting a higher quality than McDonald's. Who knew an entire plate of beige colored food could be so good. Don't forget the Cane sauce!

A double-double with both raw and grilled onions, a side of animal style fries, and a Coke might be the closest thing to reaching a state of "Nirvana" that I'll ever feel. Plus, after consuming my cat's body weight in grilled meat and carbs I never feel gross. It's almost as if using fresh made ingredients is slightly better for you? Consistency is the game here and unlike other fast food chains; burger spots, coffee shops, chicken places, go ahead and pick your poison, none of them even come close to what this American institution has done. In-N-Out just does it right, from the moment you order to when the food is in your hand, everything is streamlined and friendly. Kudos to workers here for making food that allows me to escape the current state of affairs in the US.

I simply wanted to avoid paying for the wrong order. Rather than responding professionally, he became visibly irritated, shrugged his shoulders, rolled his eyes, sighed deeply, and said, "You didn't hear me the first time?" His attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely unnecessary. I was so offended by his behavior that I asked to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, instead of de-escalating the situation or listening to my concerns, the manager made the experience even worse. I didn't feel heard, my concerns were dismissed, and no effort was made to resolve the issue. At that point, I was no longer comfortable having anyone prepare or handle my food. When a customer is treated disrespectfully for simply speaking up, it creates a lack of trust in the entire experience. I have been a customer for years, and I have never felt so belittled, disrespected, and dehumanized over such a reasonable request. If an employee is taking orders while wearing a mask that makes it difficult for customers to hear, they should understand the importance of speaking clearly and loudly enough for customers to confirm their orders. This entire situation could have been avoided with basic courtesy and professionalism. Instead, I left feeling humiliated and disappointed. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this establishment, and I hope this feedback is taken seriously so no other customer is treated this way.

Charley's is usually have good sandwiches, but my recent experience was a bit of a letdown. I decided to try their new kimchi steak sandwich out of curiosity. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The sandwich had an overpowering sweet flavor, almost like ginger, which completely masked the taste of the steak. I was genuinely sad that the steak flavor was barely noticeable with weird sweetness and ginger. On a positive note, they generally offer great sandwiches at an ok affordable price considering the portion size. The staff were friendly, and the wait was short, which I appreciated.
