11/4/25 Getting lunch! Love the convenient o. app ordering! Ordered the Cajun chicken 6 in sandwich. Paid for it and went to pick it up. Arrived! Greeted and let worker know and it was ready & received. Clean & safe inside. Plenty of tables and chairs. Calm. Lunchtime! Split. Large! My 1/2 was Fresh & DELICIOUS with a nice spice. Great food and excellent portions for the price. My only suggestion is maybe not pack the french fries in a togo cup for online orders because the heat and compression creates a lot of moisture making it soggy. Other than then excellent customer service and tasty food. read more

Came in with my daughter. The place was nice, clean, new and spacious. The gal took our order quickly and our meals came out fast! Everything was delicious! My daughter really enjoyed her sandwich and she is pretty picky!! Glad we made the stop into eat here!! Thanks for the food and service. Also the bread was super soft and fluffy great meal!! I went there and they gave me no meat on their sandwich. The food portion was terrible. The service was bad. I complained to the worker and he said that he can't do anything and refuse to give me refund. I've been to this place for past 2 years never has my 3 meat sandwich look like this. Please see picture of what they gave me. The ambiance was slow and empty, I can see why the portion size is small for $17 and the customer service is terrible. Please check your sandwich before you leave. My previous review got deleted by owner. Yelp request I repost but my experience again. Ordered a turkey salad. Told the employee I was gonna run next door for a water. Came back 10 minutes later and the salad was not ready. The employee was making steak sandwiches. I asked the employee how long it would be for my salad and he said maybe three or four minutes. He finished making the steak sandwiches then made my sandwich. Don't stop here keep driving to another sandwich shop. I tried the turkey on wheat with the works on it. The turkey was slimy and the sandwich it's was missing pickles, onion, tomato and oil vinegar. The wheat bread was hard almost stale. Grated I tried this place once I will not be back it's hard to mess up a basic sandwich. read more

Jon Smith Subs deserves more business, but not necessarily for the subs. I've only had the chicken bomb here, which is good and made fresh. It doesn't quite hit me like the one I grab from a different cheesesteak place. The peppers give the sandwich a sweeter taste that I'm not always in the mood for. I am always in the mood for fries from here. They are why I will stop on the way home even though I am tired and just want to sleep. They remind me of McDonald's fries but a little bit more potato. These fries are heavenly. I would love it even more if they had some cheesesteak fries. read more

Sandwich was so bland and employee didn't know what to put on it. Hubs helped him out. We ordered two different kinds and both were bland. Tried to order food today. You walk in and there is no one there to great you nor help. Finally figured out we had to order off the kiosk and it wouldn't take our payment. Two workers came up eventually and they could not care less that we were there. No "welcome" just a whole lot of nothing from them. Place was empty and for a reason. Not worth the price. Mostly bread, very little filling/ meat. Kids chicken tender meal came with two tiny tenders and little cup of fries.

This chain may be popular on the East Coast but it is not up to the quality we expect on the West Coast. The restaurant was clean enough. The staff were appropriate. The food is simply mediocre to poor. Even the soda wasn't up to snuff. Disappointments started with the soda. Their large soda is the size on In n Out's small. Priced at nearly $4 you're better off going to the gas station next door and paying the same amount for twice as much. Additionally there was no syrup in the Diet Coke and minimal syrup in the Coke Zero. Oops. The menu is typical for a sub shop. I decided to get what they called a Rueben sandwich. It's made with pastrami not corned beef. No rye in sight. However it is represented as coming on Cuban bread (panini style) which I thought would be interesting. The sandwich is 12" long. And 3" wide. It came on a regular roll not Cuban bread. The pastrami was ok but there was an unpleasant after taste which made me stop eating after three bites. At nearly $18 for a small sandwich and drink , you'd be better off hitting Subway for a sub, Huong LAN for a bahn mi or Don Pepe's for a Torta. If you're on the 180, just keep driving. Very impressed with the food and service. This will be our regular spot. East to get in and out close to the 180 freeway.
