Waking up to order, the menu was easy to follow, and the service provided by the employees was helpful... and loved that customization of sandwiches was no trouble at all. Fam enjoyed a Classic Turkey, a Ham, and a Veggie Sandwich. All ingredients were ample and fresh. The photos of inside the sandwiches speak for themselves. We opted to get them without being toasted today-but its nice to have the option. There was a nice variety of chips to choose from with the combo, as well as a good variety of beverages too. 7/11/25 Getting lunch! Convenient way per usual ordering through DoorDash. Got a turkey avocado sprouts & cream cheese mini with pepper jack on wheat, no mayo. Paid for it on app and went to pick it up! Arrived and pick up orders were waiting on the counter. Grabbed mine Greet and thanked worker and left. Really nice restaurant. Safe and clean! Tables and chairs along with window bar seating. You can eat outside too. More tables and chairs. Lunchtime! The dude and I came to this Deli Delicious around February/March 2020 for lunch. The dude and I were greeted warmly by a staff member which is always nice! When I walked in their cheese cakes caught my eye as it was a new item. Due to my life style change I was not able to get a cheese cake but the cashier did let me know what favorites of hers were which was so hard to NOT want to try one. But I have good self control and was able to. The staff member continued to take my order. I said mines which is easy as it's a Turkey, Bacon and Avocado lettuce wrap but without the avocado as I don't like avocado, no mayo, no salt, no oil and vinegar. So after I said my order I start to take pictures of the menu on the board that and the staff member informed me that I don't have to do that as they have a to-go menu. I started to take pictures of the to-go menu and the staff member said I didn't have to take pictures of the to-go menu as they offer online ordering and the menu is online too! The dude and I got our food fairly quick and enjoyed being in a nice clean restaurant with very informative staff member who you can tell LOVES what she is doing which is refreshing. Deli D better keep her as that was top notch consumer service I had received! The staff is beyond professional, know the products and can share honest feedback! I seriously saw this staff member recite all cheese cake flavors and selling them off the shelves as how awesome she is! The food was delicious, fresh and tasty. The new girl is very great. She helps everybody and is the only person who looks like she cares about her job the other two making the sandwich they just gossip the whole time while bossing the new girl around and look at my sandwich. I'm sorry, but I do not pay $10 to get three pieces of onion and barely any wax peppers on my sandwich when I asked the girl to add more she gave me attitude through a bunch on my sandwich and tossed it on the counter towards me. ***update next day*** I spoke to the owner and she apologized and will work with their team on how things should be done and will be giving me my order again to be used within the next two weeks. She did give me the option of a refund as well. I went in tonight at 7pm, an hour before closing. Ordered 4 sandwiches, 1 large and 3 medium, an order of beer batter fries and spicy fried green beans. First issue, fries and green beans looked as if they had been over fried and fried in old used oil. Second each sandwich was SO LOADED with mustard, so much that it over powered the whole sandwich. Third, one of the sandwiches just looked nothing like what I've gotten from a deli delicious before, just a sad looking sandwich. Fourth, the bread was so hard, dry, and crunchy. Couldn't call back as they closed at 8pm. Such a horrible experience and meal. Waste of almost $70 on mustard sandwiches and burnt sides. spent $26 on 2 small subs and 1 order of fries it came with a small cup with little bit of ranch. the basket of fries was a good amount But I was out of ranch dipping by the 8th fry. When I asked for more ranch they said it will be .75, they Barely even gave me any to begin with......if I've already spent $26 then one squirt of ranch shouldn't be that much of an issue. I'm not a fan of the negative review, but this was a very poor experience. There were only two employees and it was busy. We called in and were quoted 15 minutes, and showed 15 minutes later but still waited twenty-five minutes in the shop for our sandwiches. When we did receive our sandwiches, they had run out of their signature sandwich boxes, which made for a messy experience. Also, the sandwiches had half the ingredients as normal, but a lot of mayo and wet ingredients. I had a similar experience at this location a few weeks prior or I wouldn't write this review. Many of the Fresno Deli Delicious shops have seemingly gotten sloppy over time. The Clovis & Herndon location had - for some time - been the most consistent with their overall quality until recently. It was at its peak about a year ago when there was a regular evening crew of college guys behind the counter. Over the last year I've noticed the quality of service change at the Herndon & Clovis location. One major flag is that chairs are stacked on tables by 7pm and food is given in to-go boxes no matter what. If hours of operation go to 8pm, I cannot understand why it's acceptable to make your customers feel like they're not welcome to stay and eat on site. While we ate at the bar table we witnessed a customer come in asking "are you guys still open" at 7:25pm seemingly under the impression that stacked chairs meant no service. (By the way, she was only allowed to use a card because they apparently were not taking cash payment after a certain time.) Food quality was mixed: my sandwich was okay but my wife's was soggy and the bread was not equally cut. This is again an example of inconsistency with many DD shops across the Fresno area. For the price point, I certainly expect a bit more effort from the DD chain. Hope to see improvements soon. read more

Portion size a huge disappointment. The sandwiches and salads have always been great; however, the half salad that I received today is equivalent to HALF of a normal Half salad. Literally. The half salad used to be a rectangular box that was half of the large square size/full salad. Now it's the size of a small square to-go container. To-go! Like what you put leftovers in.
