Went for a very late dinner with my family and wasn't even acknowledged when we walked in until almost 10 minutes later when the cook said someone will help us out soon. Denny's in Sanger doesn't have someone say hello and seat you in a timely manner anymore. I know my comments were uncalled for but I have noticed for a long time that the Dennys in sanger hires many unprofessional employee. I've seen coworkers arguing and yelling and just like tonight an employee speaking loudly about what he wanted to do with my food. We had a really good early morning dining experience at this Denny's. We arrived around 7 A.M. and were seated immediately in the empty dining area (7 A.M. on a Saturday is a good time to eat here if you want the restaurant to yourself!). The restaurant was very clean and all employees were wearing masks. Even as other patrons slowly meandered in, the restaurant never got loud or stuffy. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Coffee and water were refilled regularly. Our food was well-made and came out quickly. The new eggs benedict-style breakfasts ("Benny's") are pretty good and are worth a try. Reasonable pricing on breakfast items as per usual. This location is consistently understaffed which results in ridiculous wait times. Out of the Denny's I've been to, this is by far the worst. It makes me sad because in the past when IHOP wouldn't do great, the Denny's I'd frequent would always provide good service and a quality experience. I'd like to update my recent experience with this establishment. I saw a extreme improvement in all areas . The cleanliness, the staff, the quality of food. It was so much better than my previous visits by far. I am so glad they have taken steps to improve and I look forward to dining there again. I don't know if they have a new manager or more help to address previous issues but I'm glad they've improved. read more

I have been coming to this place for at least 6 yrs. Food is ok, service is fine. But last week, 11/5th time period, after 2 mons of absence, I & wife came in for late dinner, I was pleasantly surprised the food (chicken fried steak) was super delicious, the best I ever had in 77 yrs. The wife had the lasagna & she gave a thumbs up too. That nite we found out the cook was Jimmy Tucker and the waitress was Rachel who was on top of things. Since the dinner experience was good we went back the next day, this time I had their turkey dinner and it was pleasantly delicious. So I know where I'll be going for turkey dinner comes thanksgiving day. The only thing I could think of why the service and the food is top there must have been a big management changed. Horrible service! I placed an online order, choosing "Curbside Pick up" at 7:20pm with me having to enter in my vehicle make, model & any other description I would like. When completing my order & paying with my credit card, it told me my order was going to be ready within 20 minutes. I arrived within 10 minutes, parked in the described vehicle outside. I waited. I waited some more. Finally, at 8:0pm my husband decided to walk in there. (Totally defeating the purpose of "Curbside Pick Up"! The waiter informed him that our meal had been ready Sind 7:45pm. The moment you reach the counter there is a very disturbing scent. I had to look around to make sure there was not vomit in the area. We sat close to the kitchen and the food scent masked the odor. I went to the bathroom and the air vent was on so you smell fresh scented air. When I returned to the table the odor was present. My husband also smelled something gross.
