I ordered pancakes with strawberries and banana on top, and this is what I got. Besides that I didn't get any honey, butter, or anything. Of course I added my own at home.

service was great food was even better came out fast and cooked just right. Restaurant was clean and inviting. Server name was Maria

    Hot coffee and pancakes.

The breakfast deals are great. Grand Slam and the Value Slam are a great combo for two. Hot Coffee, water soda. The service from Night Shift Jimmy and Sasha are 5 Star. She is super efficient and and still has time to speak to you. Jimmy can cook eggs any style. These are the best over easy eggs I've had in a long time! The local ambience music is cheery, along with all the smiles in the place.

We had a really good early morning dining experience at this Denny's. We arrived around 7 A.M. and were seated immediately in the empty dining area (7 A.M. on a Saturday is a good time to eat here if you want the restaurant to yourself!). The restaurant was very clean and all employees were wearing masks. Even as other patrons slowly meandered in, the restaurant never got loud or stuffy. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Coffee and water were refilled regularly. Our food was well-made and came out quickly. The new eggs benedict-style breakfasts ("Benny's") are pretty good and are worth a try. Reasonable pricing on breakfast items as per usual. I'll be coming back here for more early morning dining.

We got what we wanted. But I would like to mention that Roman E. always treat every customer with respect. And the food is always good.

Gotta love their motto: "Every plate is made with love, and every customer is treated like family." I've had the pleasure of meeting Teresa on a few occasions and chatting a bit. She is just so genuine and earnest. I always look forward to seeing her and chatting if she has the time. Each time we are in the area (usually to visit Yosemite and Kings Canyon National Parks) we make sure to stop in. This visit we managed to come in twice! Yay! Just love the working model train set perched overhead in both eating areas. If it's not running, just ask your server and they will turn it on. First visit I ordered the shredded beef enchiladas (comes with refried beans, rice, chips and salsa) along with a nice refreshing beer. Second visit I ordered the Trainwreck breakfast (eggs, hash browns, bell peppers, onions, tortilla chips, jack and cheddar cheese. Plus choice of two meats and two additional vegetables.) with biscuit and gravy. I choose two types of sausage, zucchini and avocado. Oh and an ice cold beer of course. Both meals were fresh and delicious. No matter what I order here I always know it will be tasty and well balanced. Service is always friendly, helpful and courteous! If I lived closer I would definitely stop by more often!

That said, the meal was a bit hit or miss. Some items were flavorful, while others felt a little under-seasoned. It wasn't a bad experience, but nothing really stood out enough to make me eager to return right away. Still, it's a comfortable spot if you're in the area and looking for a casual meal.

Located in a scenic agricultural area on the outskirts of Sanger, the restaurant is housed in an impressive original old school house. Check out the original plans of the school site and buildings posted in the interior hallway. The high ceilings and open layout make for a great atmosphere, though be warned: the noise level is quite high, as there isn't much to absorb it. Our server, Jacob, was exceptional. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and we especially appreciated that he included the prices of the daily specials upfront. Here's what we had for dinner: * Crab Fritters: Spectacular. The sweet red pepper sauce and the generous crab portions were beautifully presented. * Mixed Greens: A lesson in simplicity done right. It was perfectly dressed and easily shared between two. * Mahi Mahi: A standout special with a perfect sear and a moist center. * The Steak: Ordered medium and delivered as such, though it was a bit tough and felt "buried" under the heap of potatoes, onion rings, and asparagus. * Bari Lemon Olive Oil Cake: Do not let the name intimidate you! It was the star of the show. Moist, perfectly paired with fig ice cream, and large enough to share. The kitchen was unfortunately very slow. A large party of 20 on the patio seemed to back things up, leading to long gaps between our courses (though dessert arrived quickly). At nearly $200 for two, the pacing and the tough steak brought the experience down slightly, but the stellar service and elite appetizers/desserts still earn this a solid 4 stars.

When we arrived, we were seated promptly, and our order turned around pretty fast. I went with a lunch special of seafood chowder and a western omelette on toast. My lunch was ok enough to warrant a 3 star. The reason for the 2 star, is the foul smell that permeates the entire dining room. It shifts from a latrine explosion to an uncleaned barnyard, and it is STRONG! I have no idea where the smell is coming from, but it cannot be ignored and absolutely impacts the experience!

It seems to be…read moreworking for them just fine, seeing as the place has been open for 50+ years without a hitch (or any changes in decor). Many of its patrons - some of my dining partners included - have been visiting for just as long. Since there are no other reviews yet, I'll take the liberty of giving lucky you, hungry Yarmouth-visitor, a detailed breakdown: From what I can tell, you can't really go wrong with the breakfast menu (which stops being served at an absurdly early 10:30AM) or the daily specials, including turkey dinners on Sundays, smoked fish, salt fish cakes, and various sandwiches. The egg breakfasts ($4.25-$8.25) are beyond basic but include your choice of toast, and if your choice isn't the spectacular brown bread, I don't want to hear about it. Alternatively, you can try a traditional Acadian dish like Rappie pie ($10) or a bowl of chowder ($8). But the menus and placemats urge you to try the "famous hot lobster sandwich" ($20) and being a compliant customer, I did. Is it tasty? Yes, it's lobster between two slices of white bread in hot cream sauce. Is it wildly overpriced for its tiny portion? Also yes. Desserts seemed to be more reasonably priced, and there's several varieties of pie available at any given time, from coconut cream to peanut butter. One thing: the smell. You may have heard about it from reviews elsewhere on the web. I can confirm that the odor that greets your entrance is nauseating. For what it's worth, your olfactory senses adjust to it after a few minutes. Note this is NOT a late night place - summer hours are 8AM-8PM but normally it closes at an even earlier 7PM. IN SUMMATION: Do stop in for the family fare that the locals have been scarfing down for generations, but the value you'd expect from a small town diner like this isn't quite there.

Good for a date, good for a group, good for just treating yourself on a random weekday. The bar area is great too and the cocktails are solid. Service has been consistently good every time. Attentive but not in your face about it. Prices are reasonable for the quality, especially for a restaurant this polished. Its on Fresno street which is easy to get to. The line went fast, and everyone there was so friendly. The place looks really nice inside and has a cute outdoor seating area. Due to the summer heat, we ate inside but noticed they had little fans on the outdoor tables to keep the bugs away which is much appreciated. The flavor of the food was delicious! The surf and turf was not only good but it was gorgeous!! I am obsessed with the flavor on the shrimp. The only complaint we have is half of our food was cold. The surf and turf and the tri tip was cold, but the chicken was steaming hot and the carbonara was nice and warm. The flavor and cook in the tri tip was good. The carbonara was really good, and the chicken was super tender and had a nice flavor. I can't believe it was only $6 to add on 2 chicken breasts to the pasta. The salmon burger was also good, it was just a little messy to eat. The patty broke into a few pieces that would slide out which made the avocado slide out much easier. The fries were also good. Something that really stood out to us was the size of the portions. You definitely get a bang for your buck here. I would love to return and try one of their salads. They looked phenomenal!
