I ordered a black tea, 25% sweetness with honey boba and rainbow jelly. It was surprisingly... not very sweet. In my experience drinks from boba shops end up being sweet regardless of level. The boba is small and firm, the jelly has good texture and subtle flavor. I also tried green thai tea because there was a 2 for 1 deal on Uber Eats. Again, not crazy sweet. I've never had green thai tea before, but from what I read, I would say this drink is low on the floral and minty components. read more

I've had great boba smoothies from here before, my girlfriend and I ordered 2 smoothies with honey boba, when leaving the boba was hard in the middle and felt uncomfortable to chew along with the fact the smoothies weren't as potent with the flavor we got as they usually have been before. Having worked at a boba place before I knew the boba had been sitting and undercooked. I went in to get it remade and they handed back to me and the boba was still the same, the worker told me the boba was a "bad batch" and had been "sitting for a while." While knowing that, I don't understand why it would be served to customers. I asked for a different boba instead, it didn't pair well with our drinks but at least it wasn't undercooked. I left dissatisfied mostly about the fact that the worker knew it was a bad batch and because I didn't want to ask for him to remake it a 3rd time as he looked annoyed which is understandable, but if I'm paying for a drink I do expect it to be what it should be and not have to be given a bad batch just because that's what they had available. I would have preferred if they had just said it wasn't a good batch anymore and not served it in the first place. read more

So if you're looking for a spot to study late at night after Starbucks and libraries have closed, this is not the spot. The noises are extremely loud, I believe the business owners were going for a gaming aesthetic vibe. There are loud noises coming everywhere from the music in the walls to the different gaming tables all on full blast. In a small space where noise cannot travel much it is very overwhelming. Even though I brought ear plugs I still feel like I left john's incredible pizza when I was done. They did not cater to the students who want to study, they are catering to students who want to hang out and chill. And the indoor tables are gaming tables that are very low rise. You have to crouch when using a laptop over it. The metal outdoor tables are more suitable for studying but it is cold at night. I drove a long way being misled by the person who answered the phone that people can study here, but this place was still deserving of 4 stars as the boba was delicious. read more

I love how you can choose the sugar level and amount of ice. I got a honeydew green milk tea with 25% sugar, boba, and light ice. My bf got a mangonada with popping boba. Good flavor and size is generous. Many flavor options, toppings, and specialty drinks. They also sell food like a Korean corn dog and elote. I came to Boba Pub on a hot afternoon looking for a sweet drink to help me cool down a little. The store wasn't as busy as I thought it would be, and the cashier was super patient in giving us time to look over the menu and decide what to order. I had an offer I had signed up for online for BOGO drinks that the cashier told me had expired, but he was super kind and offered to honor the discount for us anyway which I appreciated. -Thai Tea w/boba; less ice, regular sweet (~$6): this was tasted exactly like what I wanted when I ordered it, a sweet, vanilla and fragrant and creamy classic thai tea flavor. Boba was elastic with good chew and well sweetened with white sugar. Boba Pub is a solid option for classic milk tea flavors with good boba to go along with it, and amazing staff. Ordering is always easy and smooth. If you sign up with their rewards program, some time you get a text notification of their bogo deals or use your earned points towards your purchase which is very nice. Shop has a simple, relaxed vibe and while you wait you can catch a game or 2 at the arcade. The arcade is attached to the business and you will need tokens for it. Parking is usually easy if you come during non-rush hours, with spots right in front. During busier times, you might have to park a little farther away since the lot is shared with other businesses.

The bowls were packed with flavor and made it ridiculously easy to sample a bunch of different dishes without committing to one giant meal. Then there was the Hmong sausage with sticky rice. Let me tell you... they do NOT mess around with the sticky rice. I think they accidentally gave me enough to feed a small village. It lasted me two days and at least four meals. My refrigerator and I both appreciated the generosity. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the place has a fun, modern vibe that makes you want to hang out for a while. The only thing I'd change is the drink. It was definitely on the sweeter side, But it still tasted good, and I'd probably just ask for less sweetness next time. Great food, great service, great value, and a concept that's actually different from the usual boba shop. I'll definitely be back... mostly because there are still mini bowls I haven't tried.

I see all the 1 star reviews and the horrible experiences people have had and i feel so bad. as an ex-employee this is unacceptable and sad. My experience working here was much worse and I can say some of the employees don't do their job and sit on their asses most of the time while it is low staffed and busy. Some are extremely disrespectful to team members and customers. I can't tell you how many times I've been disrespected by my own team and management. The management is horrible and can't get their shit together. They don't work with peoples schedules, they change your schedule last minute without notice, and send people home early because of this sorry ass reason "because it's saving money for the company. I see the reviews about messed up drinks all the time and I have witnessed it. I had one incident where an employee was making a drink the wrong way and he knew it was made the wrong was and gave it to the customer. I confronted him about it and he told me "it's too much work". I was offended because I loved my job and tried my best never to mess up and drink and thats just something you don't do in the work industry. The management does nothing when explaining a concern. I've had problems with a team member and disrespect nothing was done and my friend who works here at the moment is constantly disrespected as well. I loved working here because of the friends i've made but that's about it. Some employees have pushed me over the edge to the point I had a panic attack and couldn't hold it in because I have panic disorder and I had to go home. REGARDLESS, I busted my ass, worked as fast as I could, was nice to others, always came in when asked, always asked for more hours and I GOT FIRED. If you are a current employee here who is not being treated right like I was PLEASE get out while you can. This place is a joke. I DO NOT recommend working here and if you have made it this far I am extremely sorry to all the costumers who have been disrespected or have had a bad experience here I am so sorry. read more

So far so good. Came here with my girlfriend since she often comes here a lot and it was a chill place. Didn't know what to try and so I asked the cashier, Nicole, what she suggested. Was very polite and to the both of us. I ended up with a Wintermelon Milk Tea, 75% sweet, with boba (boba was an extra 60 cents), while my girlfriend got a Peach Lychee Green Ice Tea (50% sweet) with no toppings. My girlfriends drink wasn't on the menu but they can customize some drinks for you which I think is very unique. The Wintermelon Milk Tea that Nicole suggested was delicious! It had a bit of a caramel taste like she described with a bit of a floral aftertaste. It may sound odd, but the combination surprisingly works. Never had anything like it before, but I am not disappointed. If you ever decided to drop by BobaPub, try their Wintermelon Milk Tea. Can't wait to go and try another drink! read more
