My third visit! We tried the Korean corn dog with all cheese and hot Cheetos dust. It was super tasty!

The TV is always on for background noise and I personally like that. Makes conversations less awkward. The food always comes out fresh and I don't mind the wait. There's always one cook and wow; they work fast for 2-3 people only working non-stop. I ordered the beef tofu soup and bibimbap. OMG, the soup is SOOO GOOD! a whole tofu and actually beef meat in it. No beef brisket (thin slices). 10/10 soup broth and spice level. And yes, they do charge for rice bowl :) the Bibimbap is awesome as well. The food hits you in the right spot of home cooked meals. You will not be disappointed please go support them!

I really liked the serve yourself Bonchon section. So after sometime the little supermarket disappeared in the places, fully just tables for people to eat in. Unfortunately, I think that after became popular and became just a restaurant things went slightly downhill. The portions aren't quite as large as they used to be, which is not a bad thing, but the quality of the flavor has also been compromised. They also don't have the self serve bunch on which is a bummer because I was happy that I would get to choose which Bachchan I would eat and not waste food by serving one that I wouldn't eat I don't know if I'll go back there again honestly after my last visit because it's not what it used to be

Discount for cash and 4% charge for credit (there is several signs at the entrance). Does not include alcohol or desert items. For 2 people, each with a soda (free refills), $83 cash or $86 credit (not sure if that included the 4% charge). We arrived little after 5 on a Sat. Was immediately seated with no reservation. There was multiple laminated menus on the table. Looked like each table seated 6, each with a grill and overhead exhaust vent. I could not hear any exhaust vent fans. Noise level was normal for a restaurant this size and a conversation could easily be had with other people at the table. With 2 people, able to order 3 meats at a time. Meats are brought out promptly and soda was refilled frequently. The grill tops were replaced frequently during the meal. The bad. It gets SMOKEY!!!! Not sure what's wrong with their exhaust, but it does not seem to work very well. The floor gets greasy slippery (I was wearing non stick shoes and was able to easily slide on the floor). The overhead exhaust fan... grease constantly dripped from the vent on the grill. They are obviously were not cleaned before that dinner service... we left smelling like we had sat in a bbq smoker. Because of that I would not recommend wearing nice clothes to this place unless you want them to smell like bbq for the next while. The bulguli was amazing!! I would skip on the ny steak. The chicken was surprisingly good. If you have never cooked seafood on a grill like that, you may want to skip the squid and octopus. The pork belly was basically thin sliced bacon. If I returned, I would stick with beef bulguli, spicy pork bulguli, and brisket or spicy bbq chicken. The spicy was not that spicy. Maybe a 2 out of 10. Like jalapeño spicy. The food and service was excellent. The smoke... this makes me rethinking on returning...

Food ordered: Fire Chicken Combination Plate…read more Beef Yaki Udon Pickled Radish The fire chicken plate is always delicious. My siblings crave it at least once a month! I love the Yaki Udon and usually get it spicy. All their food is always made fresh to order and with lots of love. Service: The service is great! We are always immediately seated and offered drinks within the first few minutes upon entering. Throughout the meal, we weren't checked on. I wish they would put water pitchers on the table for the customers so we wouldn't have to always ask for a water refill. Unfortunately, there have been times where my family and I have gone but it's so busy and we never got refills for waters. Ambiance: Great, cozy, warm atmosphere. They have large flat screen tvs that usually play compilation videos on them. I wish they synced the tvs up to play kdramas or kpop on them instead. Every time I've gone, the tvs are usually turned off or playing funny/meme compilations from YouTube. I think many of their customers would enjoy a Korean show while eating Korean food! Maybe even play some mukbangs, as many young people nowadays enjoy watching those! My family and I are regulars, and we will always be back to support our favorite local Korean restaurant!

I got the Jjamppong and it was so good and flavorful! It was also very big for the price. It has the right amount of spice and plenty of delicious broth. Everything came out so hot and I had to stop myself from burning my tastebuds by digging in immediately! The staff were very kind and helpful when I had questions about the menu. Our waitress was super attentive. Inside was nice and warm which was a great contrast to the cold, foggy weather outside. This place is definitely on my list of places to revisit next time I visit Fresno!

Absolutely the BEST Hot and Sour soup I have ever had (and I eat Chinese at least 2 to 4 times a month. And Hot & Sour soup every time). And I have been eating Chinese for 50+ years. While I have not eaten often enough to try all of their dishes, but the Mongolian Beef knocked my socks off. And the Sweet and Sour sauce has more than a hint of Mandarin Oranges which is out of this world great. The service is very good- however, they do not speak English well, and you have to be patient. But worth it. When I had a slight problem with a dish, they fixed it properly and fast. And they seem to care abut their customers. All in all, this is outstanding. FYI drove by this for a year promising I would stop in and try it. I wasted a year I could have been eating there. 'Nuf said. Going back tonight - writing the review put me in the mood.

Everything was good, just not particularly memorable. One thing that was a bit disappointing was the rotating sushi bar, it wasn't in service, which felt odd for a busy weekend night and kind of took away from the experience. Service was okay. Our server was friendly, but disappeared for long stretches, and it seemed like they might have been understaffed since there weren't many other servers on the floor. Not a bad spot by any means, but with a few improvements, especially getting the sushi bar running and tightening up service - it could be a much better experience!
