The service is top tier with several staff greeting you. Our server was super friendly and checked in on us throughout our meal. The food came quick. They also serve freshly squeeze oranges as orange juice which was delicious! I ordered the country fried steak and their sausage gravy was the BEST gravy I've tried at a restaurant. My partner ordered the tri tip egg omelet skillet which he really enjoyed. The potatoes that came with his skillet was to die for! It was seasoned perfectly and will definitely be an item I order next time. Overall, I highly recommend this place and this place will be in regular rotation when I want to eat out for breakfast. Thank you for giving us such an amazing experience!

She didn't think it was going to be good and she loved it. She said it was even a little spicy which she loved. I get the vegan meal and I love that they prep all the veggies and the hash browns so good. I love that meal. My husband got the Ham and Cheese omelette. He really enjoyed it my daughter love their cheeseburger. The coffee it's very good. I really love their coffee. The waitress took a while to ask if we needed more coffee. I managed to ask someone for more coffee. I am coming back for sure.

I didn't mind it, I've been here once before (a very long time ago), but the wait was a lot longer than we anticipated today... We saw 5 different groups who put their names down AFTER us get seated BEFORE us. 2 groups of 4, 2 groups of 3, and another with just 2 (like us)... the hostess, as nice as she was, missed our name on the list somehow-- and she was going back and forth between two lists at the time. There was one clear list when I signed up with only 2 or 3 groups ahead of us. So, yeah. Apart from the really long wait (with limited space + rain outside)... the staff was super friendly and made it hard to be upset, honestly. I think my hanger had a good pull on my mood as well. We got our drink orders taken right away. He got a soda, I got a coffee. I wish the coffee tasted better than it did, but whatevs. We ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast (1/2 order) to share, as well as the Bull Dog Jalapeño Cheddar sausage plate. Each plate came with a side of eggs (he got over hard, I got over easy)... choice of bacon or sausage for the French Toast-- he chose bacon. The sausage dish came with country potatoes and [we chose] toast. The sausage was pretty good, I just wish it was warmer. It didn't feel hot at all. The eggs and potatoes were as they should be. Bacon was nice and crispy. The Cinnamon Roll was my favorite portion of our meal (sweet but not overly sweet-- don't drown it in syrup), but I saved it for last and by the time I got to it... I was almost stuffed! We still cleared our plates though. That melted butter makes all the difference though... spread that baby out! All in all, once I finally got coffee and food in my system... I was able to enjoy our breakfast and not be hung up on the wait. I understand they were super busy, I saw it with my own eyes, it was the mere fact we were skipped over multiple times is all. Anywho, not the best I've ever had but it got the job done. Would this place be my first choice next time? Probably not. Would I come back again? Yes, just not when I'm starving and hangry! K, byeee.

If you didn't make reservations and ask if being seated outside is faster to get seated. 3. They will ask for a phone number to text you your in the waiting list and when your table is ready. 4. Food comes out fast. Bottomless coffee. 5. Some items you can choose 1 side order or 2 side orders. 6. Look at the menu before going or while waiting (posted here on Yelp) There are so many options and if you're hungry you might be in a hurry to order and miss something you really would have wanted to order. 7. Becareful don't have "Big eyes" these are good size portions my wife and I shared and still couldn't finish. You can get all the normal diner style favorites like eggs, bacon, sausage and a whole plate size pancake or get a Pork Verde breakfast omelette or opt for a burrito. To make a long story longer here's a summary : Make RSVPs, Bottomless decent coffee, look at menu ahead of time, Service is good but they are busy so please be kind, and as always if possible bring a friend to share this with and Enjoy. Now one of the things I look forward to is visiting King's Canyon.  After seeing the sequoia's we have dinner at Red Caboose Cafe.  I get to watch the trains run while our food is looking. There is a huge menu but I can't resist the honey fried chicken. Honey fried chicken had a crunchy batter with sweet honey flavor.  Chicken was tender and juicy.  Red Caboose Cafe is one of my fav places to get this style chicken. Tater tots had a crispy exterior and decious potato flavor. Beef barley soup had a delicious flavor from the beef, barley, carrot, and seasonings.  I have not seen this soup anywhere else. Roll was soft and had a tasty buttery flavor. Hospitality was excellent and everybody was treated like a regular.  I met the owner Teresa Claborn and she was very gracious with her time talking about the trains and nearby National Parks.  I look forward to visiting again to watch the trains run, trying more menu items, and enjoying the fine hospitality.
