Wanted to buy a day same day and decided to try and see if any would be available here, unfortunately this bakery caters more towards sweet bread and single cake slices. However, I was able to in inquire about cakes for future reference. They do offer birthday cakes but they prefer a week in advance order. The pricing was very reasonable and I am sure they will be delicious, as the bakery itself smelled of fresh pan dulce. Did not leave with the cake as I had hoped, but I did find some interesting sweets that I do not normally see in bakeries. Love their new location! They now have tables to sit at and offer coffee as well. At the moment, they're cases are filled with amazing fall focused seasonal treats and sweet breads celebrating the day of the dead. They even had an ofrenda set up honoring their friends and family. This is the only panaderia that offers moist pan dulce; most places have dry and crumby pan dulce. All of their breads and baked items are all super soft and lightly sweet. Plus their cookies are amazing! With my favorite being the watermelon shaped sugar cookie and their M&Ms cookie. They also have full selection of vegan pastries as well! The man at the counter was so kind and accommodating. I ordered a horchata and it was so delicious as expected. My husband got the mochalita and that was good too. The sweet breads and cookies looked so pretty and they tasted just as nice! They weren't too sweet, just right. They even had a cute photo-op inside with beautiful roses. Obviously the breads and cookies and such are off the charts but, personally, for me its the coffee. Oh my goodness, it's good. Their latte is so delicious it doesn't even need syrup. It's a smooth blend that stands on its own. They're my go-to for my morning coffee. Hot or iced, it really is amazing. Of course, Rosie and Andy being so nice doesn't hurt. Nothing tastes more like childhood to me than pan dulce from Cafe Oaxaca. The soft and pillowy cuernitos are unmatched to any other panaderia I know of. My husband likes to take my young toddler in to pick out a surprise to take home to mama. He is always welcomed warmly, helped promptly, and treated with respect. Came by for an afternoon treat with a friend. The staff were very attentive and helpful. They were happy to answer my myriad questions. I was impressed by their amount of vegan options. Me and my wife enjoy trying new cafes and pastries. And this place is definitely at our top. The pastries and pan were the softest and super delicious and the coffee was not over powering one bit. I had the dulce de leche latte and my wife got the horchata latte, both were delicious and not overly sweet. The cafe was quiet at the time we went around 9:30am only 1 other customer and the music was nice and pleasant as we sat and ate. The worker was very nice and let us try the horchata before deciding. I love this place! I'm not sure if it's the only Panaderia in Clovis, but man it is delicious. My sister actually introduced me to this place many years ago as she is vegan. This place has a little bit for everyone! Not only do they have the regular Mexican pan, but they also make quite a few of them vegan as well. I have tried both types of bread and cannot tell the difference. Both are very moist and springy. There pan goes perfectly with some cafécito. We also recently tried their arroz con leche which is vegan and gluten-free. Once again we absolutely loved it! Couldn't tell that it wasn't made with real milk. The best part of this bakery is that everybody there is so nice. It's family owned and you really get that feeling when you go in. I highly recommend you stop by for some pan. read more

This was my first time here, so I don't know what it was like pre-Covid, but right now you have to place your order and the woman behind the counter will grab your sweet bread. Due to this set up, there can only be 3-4 people in the store I order to social distance. At 8:00 am, there were about 5 people already (some waiting outside). The line moves fast, so it's okay to patiently wait for your yummy carbs. My favorite sweet bread to dip in my coffee was the colorful pan. Was with family in Clovis recently and we were flying kites and riding bikes in the 90's plus heat and basically had the suburbs to ourselves! Omg. Sooo happy I found this gem of a bakery. We live in vegas but are in fresno frequently for my husband's job. I can't eat dairy so I'm always looking for vegan places. When I saw there was a bakery with vegan options I couldn't pass up the opportunity. When you first walk into the shop you smell all the delicious goodness. They have all of their vegan items marked with a green vegan sticker so it's easy to see what's available. There were so many options! I got horchata and flan. The flan.... just heavenly. So so good. On my last day of work in Madera on 12/06/19, I decided to treat all staff to Pan Dulce especially my unit who I adored so greatly as it was such a journey working there. Anywho I went in about 7:30am and there was a lot of goodies to choose from which I was so excited about! I was in Pan Dulce heaven. You walk in grab a red tray and tongs from a bin that looks like it could be bread which is storing a lot of tongs to grab the pan dulce. I got a variety of items which smelled delicious. The woman who helped me mostly spoke Spanish. This place is very clean and the Pan Dulce taste so fresh. They also had pan dulce in bags in which I would assume are days old which in most places are usually discounted. I enjoyed my time here and I am planning on coming back soon! I am shocked that Clovis as such a ethnic place here and it is affordable. I will support this mom and pop shop as the Pan Dulce taste so delicious. My co workers all enjoyed it and it was nice to share warm memories with those I have spent the last two in an half years with! You will not be disappointed with this place at all.
