I really enjoyed Mi Cafecito. It was a place I've wanted to try for quite some time because as a Mexican woman, my roots run deep with some Chilaquiles and Cafecito. I invited my daughter to come along because she literally likes everything I like and we SHARE everything so it's the best of both worlds. She wanted both red and green chilaquiles so we each got one and then traded half way through. That's probably the best way to do thanks honestly with anyone who is indecisive ::cough cough:: (looks in mirror). We loved our ice coffees as well. My memory isn't the best but I'm sure I got Dulce De Leche. It's entitled on my pics, check them out. Location and parking can be rough so plan ahead. Prices weren't bad. It's also self serve so you wait on yourself. I wait on myself at home so no big deal, BUT it could be a bonus down the road. Dope spot. I'll be back!!

My cappuccino was delicious! Our non-profit group chose to meet up here before our meeting. I made in time to get my coffee, thankfully! I got a true cappuccino, thank you! Mi Cafesito Can Ness is a welcome addition to the tower neighborhood! I hope they live live long and prosper

We parked in the dirt field out front and walked over. There was a line out the door, but it moved quickly. We ordered chilaquiles (not on the menu) I asked for half red and half green with asada, and we also got a half chipotle, half green version. They were happy to accommodate our requests! I tried the Mexican mocha, which was delicious and not overly sweet. It came with a tiny pan dulce on top; such a nice touch! The building and interior could use a little work, but that's part of its charm. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, and the patio was beautiful. The chilaquiles were hands down the best in Fresno. I honestly felt like I was back in Mexico, eating in my grandma's kitchen. The service was fast and genuinely friendly; the person who brought out our food even took a minute to chat with us. Don't let the look of the place fool you; it's absolutely worth it!

Chilaquiles Mole, add chicken

Visited Mi Cafecito today and the food was BOMB. So amazing. I got the mole chilaquiles with beans on the side and added chicken. The flavor was sooo tasty. It was spicy and sweet. The chips were crunchy, the beans were great, eggs were seasoned. Amazing! I would come back again. The patio was nice, we were able to to sit outside. The woman taking the orders was very nice too. The only critique that I have is that the amount of protein and food that they give you is not much. I feel there were more eggs and beans than chilaquiles. I recall eating maybe 4 small pieces of shredded chicken. For the price of $20 with the up charge of adding protein though they would add a good amount. They are a bit skimpy but the food is great. Overall I would've appreciated a little bit more chilaquiles and definitely the protein since I paid for it. I would recommend this place.

Delicious place near Fresno city, a bunch of us went for a breakfast meet up. I ordered Chilaquiles and Café de la olla, which were wonderful! They even put a little concha on top of some drinks. There's a lot of great things on the menu, I look forward to coming back. Fuimos a desayunar, yo ordené chilaquiles y un café de olla, la comida estaba buenisima! Muchas comidas y bebidas para escojer! Está bien cerquita de fresno city college. Llégenle!!

I had such a great experience at Mi Cafesito Van Ness! The workers were incredibly friendly and generous, making the the visit even more enjoyable. I loved the fun (4 question) quiz to help pick out a drink - I ended up with the Puppy Love, and it was absolutely delicious. One of the thing that stood out during my visit here was that there was a message on each drink. The cafe just opened last December and has quickly been my go to whenever Im in the area! The place is spacious and has a comfy vibe to it. Plus, they have a good menu to them! Definitely a place that I recommend stopping by!

This little coffee spot/restaurant really feels like you're walking into someone's home, which I loved. We got the Iced Mexican Mocha coffee and it was delicious! Will be back to try others and the food next time!

The adorable decor

This place is truly a gem that this area desperately needed. The coffee is fantastic and the service is absolutely wonderful. The outside is just as cute as the inside. My favorite drink as of right now is the churro latte. I appreciate experiencing other cultures and getting a taste of what they have to offer.

I had been wanting to try their breakfast for so long! They having outdoor and indoor seating. The staff was nice. It's wasn't loud inside, it was calm. Outside you'll hear cars, but it was pleasant eating outside. Our coffee was brought out quickly and a few minutes later our food too! I really liked my Mexican mocha! My boyfriend ordered the horchata latte, but it didn't taste much like horchata. We were very excited to try it too. For food we ordered chilaquiles. I ordered the chilaquiles verde plate and my boyfriend ordered the special which was red and green chilaquiles with meat. Our food wasn't hot, it was more like lukewarm. We will be back for the Mexican mocha and to try their other signature coffees.

Churro Latte with a mini concha on top

I love a restaurant with an aesthetic. I have never been and hope to stop by one day as it is only 5 blocks from my house. However, I was so tired from holiday things, my husband went and got us coffee and breakfast before he left for work. I love a good hot coffee and asked my husband to bring me a hot churro latte. Hot Churro Latte- So cute with the mini conchas because if you like sweets to dip with coffee like I do, you would love this,, would be even cuter with a mini churro! Lol. I remember my days of frying churros at Taco Bell and rolling it in cinnamon sugar and that's what this coffee smells like to me. And this coffee tasted exactly like a churro. 5/5 Torta- I heard their chilaqules were delicious, but their torta also looked delicious so my husband and I got the Chorizo Torta and it was absolutely yummy. I'm a spicy girl, but currently can't eat it due to my health and even though this torta had a chile, it was not too spicy. The chorizo was cooked perfectly with the eggs, avocado was nice and soft. The bread was soft on the top and crispy on the bottom. We were very happy with it and can't wait to return. 5/5 Very satisfied with food and drink

I was very excited to try this place. Service was nice and quick. I ordered the churro latte and it was really good! Espresso wasn't burnt and they gave me a mini pan will be coming back soon!

Front patio at Mi Cafecito

Walking into Mi Cafecito (which translates to "my little coffee") just feels good. This gem, a locally-owned and family-operated café, exudes the warmth and coziness of your favorite relative's home. The tables, amply spaced, invite you to settle in and unwind. The team behind the coffee bar greets you with genuine kindness and warmth. This new(er) location offers a large front-porch style patio with plenty of seating in addition to its indoor café area. An eye-catching mural, crafted from books and encircled by the phrase "Hoy es un dia perfecto para ser feliz" ("Today is a perfect day to be happy"), offers a picturesque backdrop for those Insta-worthy moments. Mi Cafecito's coffee menu features drinks that are inspired by Mexican and Latin-American flavors like the Mazapan Latte, the Horchata Latte and the Paleta Payaso Latte as well as traditional coffee drinks like espressos, cappuccinos, americanos and drip coffee. They also offer seasonal specials, like their Valentine menu which features the Rebound (a banana mocha) and the Valentine (a cherry vanilla latte). Each drink is presented with a handwritten inspirational quote and crowned with a mini pan dulce. Breakfast at Mi Cafecito revolves around two offerings: chilaquiles and tortas. For the uninitiated, chilaquiles is a comforting concoction of lightly fried tortillas drenched in salsa or sauce, often combined with eggs and/or a choice of meat. My husband and I each ordered a different chilaquiles dish on our most recent visit, I had the salsa verde with carne asada, and he had the chipotle with chorizo and both were excellent.

Hot Sweet Navidad, hot Churro latte, iced mazapán latte, and small Chocolate Abuelita.

They have the best coffee that come with mini pieces of pan dulce on top! The drinks always taste so good and their food is amazing. Service is always so great, highly recommend coming here.

If you didn't make reservations and ask if being seated outside is faster to get seated. 3. They will ask for a phone number to text you your in the waiting list and when your table is ready. 4. Food comes out fast. Bottomless coffee. 5. Some items you can choose 1 side order or 2 side orders. 6. Look at the menu before going or while waiting (posted here on Yelp) There are so many options and if you're hungry you might be in a hurry to order and miss something you really would have wanted to order. 7. Becareful don't have "Big eyes" these are good size portions my wife and I shared and still couldn't finish. You can get all the normal diner style favorites like eggs, bacon, sausage and a whole plate size pancake or get a Pork Verde breakfast omelette or opt for a burrito. To make a long story longer here's a summary : Make RSVPs, Bottomless decent coffee, look at menu ahead of time, Service is good but they are busy so please be kind, and as always if possible bring a friend to share this with and Enjoy. I didn't mind it, I've been here once before (a very long time ago), but the wait was a lot longer than we anticipated today... We saw 5 different groups who put their names down AFTER us get seated BEFORE us. 2 groups of 4, 2 groups of 3, and another with just 2 (like us)... the hostess, as nice as she was, missed our name on the list somehow-- and she was going back and forth between two lists at the time. There was one clear list when I signed up with only 2 or 3 groups ahead of us. So, yeah. Apart from the really long wait (with limited space + rain outside)... the staff was super friendly and made it hard to be upset, honestly. I think my hanger had a good pull on my mood as well. We got our drink orders taken right away. He got a soda, I got a coffee. I wish the coffee tasted better than it did, but whatevs. We ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast (1/2 order) to share, as well as the Bull Dog Jalapeño Cheddar sausage plate. Each plate came with a side of eggs (he got over hard, I got over easy)... choice of bacon or sausage for the French Toast-- he chose bacon. The sausage dish came with country potatoes and [we chose] toast. The sausage was pretty good, I just wish it was warmer. It didn't feel hot at all. The eggs and potatoes were as they should be. Bacon was nice and crispy. The Cinnamon Roll was my favorite portion of our meal (sweet but not overly sweet-- don't drown it in syrup), but I saved it for last and by the time I got to it... I was almost stuffed! We still cleared our plates though. That melted butter makes all the difference though... spread that baby out! All in all, once I finally got coffee and food in my system... I was able to enjoy our breakfast and not be hung up on the wait. I understand they were super busy, I saw it with my own eyes, it was the mere fact we were skipped over multiple times is all. Anywho, not the best I've ever had but it got the job done. Would this place be my first choice next time? Probably not. Would I come back again? Yes, just not when I'm starving and hangry! K, byeee.
