I came here hoping to give it a fair chance. I've been before and thought the prices were high, but I wanted to see if maybe I was wrong. This time I ordered four tacos and a pizza no drink and paid $20. That's just too much for the quality I got. The food was dull. It wasn't disgusting, but it was mid at best bland meat, not much flavor, and nothing that really stood out. They didn't include salsa with the tacos, and for that price, I shouldn't have to ask for something so basic. The packaging was thrown together, and overall, it just didn't feel like something worth $20. I've since read more reviews, and I'll be honest the positive reviews feel suspicious. Many are overly hyped, calling this the "best pizza" or "best tacos ever," while the negative reviews reflect my exact experience. I don't know if the good ones are padded, but I'll say respectfully: they don't line up with the food I was served. I respect small businesses, and I'm not trying to tear anyone down. But I do believe in being real, especially when people are spending their hard-earned money. If you choose to come here, proceed with caution. You might want to consider driving to Merced or Madera for better food, better prices, and better value. read more

Their online menu boasts combos, including prices; tortas with cheese jalapeño and avocado... But when you call to order almost none of the combos offered online are an option. So, I go with a torta, thinking yummm creamy avocado, cheese, onion and the umami of the brined jalapenos.... $12 later (no fries no drink) I was sorely disappointed. My sandwich arrived with unseasoned shredded pork leg, lettuce tomato and mayo the bread was good but the sandwichv was such a disappointment it made me angry!! So I called the nect day to complain and to tell them I didn't even eat the sandwich... The girl said okay, well thanks! OMG! Never again!!! I came here on January 6 and I ordered one thing. I ordered Asada fries with just Asada and cheese. I went in and picked up my order and it had sour cream on it so I told the lady hey I said no sour cream she handed it back to the two Mexican cooks. And they started complaining and talking about me in Spanish thinking I don't understand what they're saying that it is very rude when you ask, can you call for a certain thing you should get that they complain that you're complaining then they should get your order right? read more

This place came recommended from a friend so we gave it a shot and ordered burgers the first time. Low quality meat and every was bland. Within a few hours I was horribly sick. We decided to stay clear of the burgers but mistakenly gave their pizza a try. Sauce was overly sweet, toppings were canned not fresh and they literally just put them in the middle of the pizza. Once again my husband convinced me to try this place after messing up so many orders, we ordered a burrito supreme, corn dogs and a chili verde burrito. The corn dogs were so burnt that they could pass as charcoal on a stick, the burrito supreme was only room temperature and the asada was severely over cooked and the chili verde burrito was cold. I've been trying really hard to support local businesses during covid, but it's getting really hard when they charge the money but don't deliver. We ordered two freezes and one large fries and my total was $15.72. That's ridiculous, as you can see from the picture that the drinks weren't even a large size. Ordered two veggie burritos and got them with in respectable time. When I got home about a block away I noticed they put onions and cilantro in the burritos. Not knowing that this is a standard for all they're burritos I called to ask them about it. The girl on the other end was very respectful and when I asked if I could get my order replaced with out the onions or cilantro her first reaction was yes but she had to double check with her boss. Me thinking nothing of it I was surprised when she came back to say that they would not replace the order. I told her that I couldn't eat the before mentioned toppings and she still said no. This was strange to me, normally when a restaurant gets this kind of request from a customer that just came in moments ago and if the total they spent is under a small amount they are more then happy to fix any issue like this. Whether it's the customers fault or the restaurants. Customer service and their experience are the number one things that matters. Yes this was my fault for not knowing what they put in their burritos to begin with but it also an understandable. The fact that this owner or manager didn't want to replace an order that was under $10 says that this guy doesn't care about his customers experience. That being said I'm going to take my business to Chowchilla Taco Shop. They're a little more expensive but after this experience I'd rather go to a place that hold their customers satisfaction as top priority. Below is a photo of all the onions and cilantro I had to scrape out. Pedros doesn't just put a little bit in their burritos for flavor they put handfuls in. We ordered pizza delivered to a nearby RV Park. The woman who took our order and the one who delivered it were both polite and personable. The pizza (pepperoni, Canadian bacon and extra cheese) was great and was delivered in a timely manner! The crust was perfect-not too thick nor too thin, sauce was tasty and there was plenty of meat and cheese. They sent crushed red pepper and Parmesan without being asked (which was nice since I forgot to do so). We were yummed up for pizza but they also had other menu items, including Mexican entrees, appetizers, burgers, and sandwiches. Had a very very bad experience last night when we went to grab dinner before heading out to celebrate my cousins birthday last night. The gal who took are order was very snobby, I drove in from Modesto and needed to use the restroom and I was not allowed to use there restroom facilities. We ordered $35 worth of food. My pizza was OK and my husband had three tostadas and he said the beans and the meat were very cold. I ended up having to drive back to my cousins house to use the restroom. I don't think I'll be going back there ever again to eat they need to really speak to their employees regarding customer service with customers. I asked for napkins to eat with our food and it was like a bother to her. She'll she was too busy talking to customers that she knew that would come in and pick up food. I really don't think the person who was working the cashier and taking orders last night should be working in a restaurant facility if you don't if she doesn't have, that attitude was not friendly at all, and was very snobby. I have dined at Pedro's several times now and decided to update my review. I really like this place, and so does my family. While the place looks a little run down, the food is very good. We like to go there because of the variety of choices. Often my wife and I will get Mexican and my daughter will get pizza or a burger. I have tried all three, and think they are all good. The restaurant is called Pedro's Pizza, but the Mexican food is the best bet here. Both the Carne Asada (beef) and the Adobada (pork) are very good. My favorite is the Tortas. The bread is fresh and crunchy. The tacos and burritos are also good. Haven't had the issues with pricing or language problems others have had. read more
