Came after an interview (wish me luck)! Reminds me of the pizza place we use to have in my home town :) good to know Chowchilla has a homey pizza anyone can come down and enjoy. Ambiance is nice, workers are educated and diligent to their craft. Would recommend their combo + Hawaiian pizza. Didn't try their other stuff but I Imagine it's tasty. Great job! read more

Been here a few times, customer service is not it. They remodeled but they need to fix the customer service. Came in at 9am. The girl behind the counter took two phone calls before helping me. The only person in the building. I asked if phone calls come before people and she said yes. Next time i wont waste my time. There are two orders in front of mine one being 9 burritos. Now im three orders back. Never again read more

Stop by padros today, order a carne asada torta, there was hardly any meat, wouldn't have even filled a street taco, all bread , the horchata was not sweet no flavor, save you money. This place is overpriced for the quality of food. read more

Love the pizza!! I go there weekly, love the service and the food! Everyone is friendly and welcoming!

Anything on the menu rocks the pizza shakes try it all especially the steak fries also the people are great tip big here

I came here hoping to give it a fair chance. I've been before and thought the prices were high, but I wanted to see if maybe I was wrong. This time I ordered four tacos and a pizza no drink and paid $20. That's just too much for the quality I got. The food was dull. It wasn't disgusting, but it was mid at best bland meat, not much flavor, and nothing that really stood out. They didn't include salsa with the tacos, and for that price, I shouldn't have to ask for something so basic. The packaging was thrown together, and overall, it just didn't feel like something worth $20. I've since read more reviews, and I'll be honest the positive reviews feel suspicious. Many are overly hyped, calling this the "best pizza" or "best tacos ever," while the negative reviews reflect my exact experience. I don't know if the good ones are padded, but I'll say respectfully: they don't line up with the food I was served. I respect small businesses, and I'm not trying to tear anyone down. But I do believe in being real, especially when people are spending their hard-earned money. If you choose to come here, proceed with caution. You might want to consider driving to Merced or Madera for better food, better prices, and better value. read more

This place is amazing the pizza and tortas are my fave! Love dropping by here when passing through!

The best pizza ive ever had. Sides are great and the milkshakes are delicious. Super friendly staff too. Only real complaint is the flies that sometimes swarm the inside of the restaurant, but its not big enough of a deal to bump it down from 5 stars. read more

The best Chile Verde pizza I've ever eaten. The dough is so fluffy, generous amount of pork and reasonable prices. Service was great. 10/10 definitely recommend. read more

Still no prices on the food. Deceiving customers at its finest! You never know what you're going to pay!

Their online menu boasts combos, including prices; tortas with cheese jalapeño and avocado... But when you call to order almost none of the combos offered online are an option. So, I go with a torta, thinking yummm creamy avocado, cheese, onion and the umami of the brined jalapenos.... $12 later (no fries no drink) I was sorely disappointed. My sandwich arrived with unseasoned shredded pork leg, lettuce tomato and mayo the bread was good but the sandwichv was such a disappointment it made me angry!! So I called the nect day to complain and to tell them I didn't even eat the sandwich... The girl said okay, well thanks! OMG! Never again!!! I live 2 blocks away and Pedro's pizza will NEVER see another dime from me!!! read more

I came here on January 6 and I ordered one thing. I ordered Asada fries with just Asada and cheese. I went in and picked up my order and it had sour cream on it so I told the lady hey I said no sour cream she handed it back to the two Mexican cooks. And they started complaining and talking about me in Spanish thinking I don't understand what they're saying that it is very rude when you ask, can you call for a certain thing you should get that they complain that you're complaining then they should get your order right? read more

My grandsons favorite pizza!! And he is a very picky eater. It's a small town favorite.

Best Mexican food I've had outside of Mexico! When we got the chips, immediately I asked for a cup of their sauce to go.

I love the pizza n the stuffed mushrooms are on point the people are friendly n it's pretty chill

This place came recommended from a friend so we gave it a shot and ordered burgers the first time. Low quality meat and every was bland. Within a few hours I was horribly sick. We decided to stay clear of the burgers but mistakenly gave their pizza a try. Sauce was overly sweet, toppings were canned not fresh and they literally just put them in the middle of the pizza. Would give 0 stars if I could. read more

When I think of Peter's Pizza, I think of the greatest Golden State Warriors hater of all time! Mark Jackson has a saying, "Hands down, man down" and "Momma there goes that man". Because Hands Down!!! The best Tortas on the block! I kill two of them and they put this "Man down "!! And when I see them rolling in that smart car, I can't help but look at momma like there goes that man!! Don't be fooled, you'll think you walked into a taqueria but that is not the case. Oh no, by any means, their pizza hold up on its own. Whether it be the Green Chili, the Mexican or the classic pepperoni, sprinkle some jalapeño and don't be afraid to add pineapple to that! Mercy, I could taste it now read more

Once again my husband convinced me to try this place after messing up so many orders, we ordered a burrito supreme, corn dogs and a chili verde burrito. The corn dogs were so burnt that they could pass as charcoal on a stick, the burrito supreme was only room temperature and the asada was severely over cooked and the chili verde burrito was cold. They told my husband it would be ready in 20 minutes and we arrived when it was 15 minutes and the order was already done!!! Don't waste time or money!!! read more

the pizza combo is my favorite pizza i've ever had! i've been coming to this place for probably around 13 years since i was a little kid. this place has never disappointed. the employees are always friendly, ive never had a messed up order, and the food is amazing. they have a wide variety. i love it, and would recommend to everyone! read more

I've been trying really hard to support local businesses during covid, but it's getting really hard when they charge the money but don't deliver. We ordered two freezes and one large fries and my total was $15.72. That's ridiculous, as you can see from the picture that the drinks weren't even a large size. (I placed a face mask in the photo for size comparison). Also, my orange freeze barely had any flavour. Next time I think I'll go to Carl's Jr. for a milkshake. At least I'll get my money's worth. read more

Pedro's Pizza - Two over-priced, small-size freezes, one orange and one root beer, and a large fry. - Pizza Near Me - Chowchilla, California

Pizza was tasty. Nice thin crust. The asada torta was delicious. But the could give a few extra sauces.

Good deals on the combo, good pizza (a little greasy but I don't mind it) and good service.

Ordered two veggie burritos and got them with in respectable time. When I got home about a block away I noticed they put onions and cilantro in the burritos. Not knowing that this is a standard for all they're burritos I called to ask them about it. The girl on the other end was very respectful and when I asked if I could get my order replaced with out the onions or cilantro her first reaction was yes but she had to double check with her boss. Me thinking nothing of it I was surprised when she came back to say that they would not replace the order. I told her that I couldn't eat the before mentioned toppings and she still said no. This was strange to me, normally when a restaurant gets this kind of request from a customer that just came in moments ago and if the total they spent is under a small amount they are more then happy to fix any issue like this. Whether it's the customers fault or the restaurants. Customer service and their experience are the number one things that matters. Yes this was my fault for not knowing what they put in their burritos to begin with but it also an understandable. The fact that this owner or manager didn't want to replace an order that was under $10 says that this guy doesn't care about his customers experience. That being said I'm going to take my business to Chowchilla Taco Shop. They're a little more expensive but after this experience I'd rather go to a place that hold their customers satisfaction as top priority. Below is a photo of all the onions and cilantro I had to scrape out. Pedros doesn't just put a little bit in their burritos for flavor they put handfuls in. And that's what I don't like about certain places when they do this. So to say that onions and cilantro isn't enjoyed is understandable. read more

We ordered pizza delivered to a nearby RV Park. The woman who took our order and the one who delivered it were both polite and personable. The pizza (pepperoni, Canadian bacon and extra cheese) was great and was delivered in a timely manner! The crust was perfect-not too thick nor too thin, sauce was tasty and there was plenty of meat and cheese. They sent crushed red pepper and Parmesan without being asked (which was nice since I forgot to do so). We were yummed up for pizza but they also had other menu items, including Mexican entrees, appetizers, burgers, and sandwiches. We're traveling through but will order from them again if ever we're back in Chowchilla. read more

We just moved to town three weeks ago and have been hearing about this place. After one bite of pizza, I now understand why. I am a huge pizza snob and LOVE NY pizza most of all. This place does not disappoint, the pizza is absolutely killer. It has the perfect amount of sauce and cheese, and the crust is so delicious. We will be ordering again for sure, so glad to have found out about this gem! read more

I have dined at Pedro's several times now and decided to update my review. I really like this place, and so does my family. While the place looks a little run down, the food is very good. We like to go there because of the variety of choices. Often my wife and I will get Mexican and my daughter will get pizza or a burger. I have tried all three, and think they are all good. The restaurant is called Pedro's Pizza, but the Mexican food is the best bet here. Both the Carne Asada (beef) and the Adobada (pork) are very good. My favorite is the Tortas. The bread is fresh and crunchy. The tacos and burritos are also good. Haven't had the issues with pricing or language problems others have had. read more
