Pretty bomb little taco shop, what sells a lot more than just taco's. Located inside a gas station to the left, with 5 tables, this place was a real treat. Ordered myself a Milanesa Torta, and one taco de tripas.. Both really good, and you can tell the milanesa was fresh to order. There Horchata was really good as well. The menu has a bunch of items on it, and for being a small place, it was semi packed. Also has a drive thru. A must if in the area. read more

Very clean and spacey ambiance this place is also connected to a liquor store so you can kill two birds with one stone. I tried the tacos out for the family and we enjoyed the food, i will say the tacos are missing a big of flavor so we added some salt and extra salsa to give it that punch. The employees are kind and took my order and had the food out quickly, I'll definitely be back but hope they can add a bit more flavor to those meats. read more

Don't sleep on Tacos Guanajuato!! Probably some of my favorite Al Pastor. I always get the Al pastor super burritos. Cost around $14 and it's packed with flavor, love the fact that it's not overly packed with rice they do a great job of portioning all the fillings to where it's a perfect balanced burrito. Tacos and Torta's are very good as well. They do have a pick up window you can drive up to if you want to call in an order for pick up. There's not much seating inside due to it being connected to a gas station. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. Not much parking due to the gas station. This place is a must try! read more

This place has really good tacos, and they are one of the few places that still give you grilled onions & jalapeños on the side with every order. read more

Words don't describe how amazing the Al pastor tacos from this place are, the meat is perfectly crispy, the pineapple balances out the savory salty flavor, the guacamole is always on point. It's absolutely worth checking out. read more

Tacos Guanajuato - Al pastor tacos - Mexican Near Me - Madera, California

Disgusting. The place is not located in the best location and the food is below average. I'd rather have Taco Bell anytime, versus this place. There are so many places that are Mexican authentic and this is not what I imagine authenticity to be. The service is also sub par. Also, the guy with the black Dodge ram who works there, needs to learn to drive! He passes all of the red lights doesn't use his signal and goes way over the speed limit. If you're going to own a business in America, learn to follow the law! do not support this place, do not go here. read more

Al pastor was burned. Don't sell food like this to your customers. Everything else was good but just disappointed on the quality. read more

Tacos Guanajuato - Had to throw them away. Why give out tacos like this? This is just bad service. - Mexican Near Me - Madera, California

Super good burritos. Get the Supreme with everything on it. We like the Chile Verde burrito Supreme a lot. Big enough for a big appetite.

I was nit expecting anything from this place being it is a small place in a gas station but man was i wrong. I ordered 3 tacos (birria, carnita and buche) and man were they good. I could drink that dip that came with the birria taco and I did. Never judge a restaurant on how it looks. Best ones sometime don't look good from the outside until you try their food. Enjoys guys!!! read more

Stopped here on our way back from Selma. Good fresh tacos. My favorite was their fish and AL pastor. Delicious. read more

Very expensive! But very good tacos full and flavorful! This is the go to place in Madera!

I ordered Menudp and this "fat" was in my bowl! Gross! Apparently they don't clean the fat off their menudo. I will NEVER eat their Menudo again! read more

Looking for quick bite for lunch. Saw they had a drive thru and decided to give it a try. Ordered three tacos. Took over 20 minutes to get my order. Why have a drive thru when the wait time is going to be almost 30min. I get it it's made by hand but come on it was not even rush hour lunch time or dinner time. read more

They catered our family reunion this weekend and everything was soooo good! Everyone was really happy with the tacos, fixings, and jugos. Horchata was a huge hit. The guys were really nice and professional. We will definitely use them again. read more

Been here twice now out of convenience. Both times have been bland and disappointing. I got a carne asada torta the first time and a pollo burrito the second. Both have left me wishing I went somewhere else. I do taste the freshness in their tortillas, but the fillings taste unseasoned. Drinks are a 5 star. Perfect Jamaica and horchata. read more

Loved the Al pastor tacos! The service was great as well everyone is friendly. It is a bit of a wait in the drive thru but it is totally worth it! read more

The food is ok. I'm gonna give it one more try and have some other dishes. I will return with another update I'm a few weeks. Holla back at you! read more

My husband ordered our family food and when he tried to pay was told loudly that his card was declined because he didn't have any money. My husband asked them to run the card again as we are more than sure there was plenty of money in the account and the ghetto kid behind the counter again loudly claimed that he could not serve him as there were insufficient funds in the account. The employee asked my husband to move aside so he could help the next customer who also attempted to pay with his card. This customer's card was also declined, but was told apologetically that the system was currently down. No apology was issued to my husband by the unprofessional kid behind the counter. I would never give my business to someone who would unnecessarily cause embarrassment to their client knowing full well it was an issue with the system and not our card. read more

After two bites I threw this garbage away. This was the worst food I have ever tried. The nachos had 1/4 inch layer of oil on the bottom of the container, everything had a off taste, and the clerks were rude. Later in the evening, I suffered from diarrhea. If I could I would rate this place a negative five stars. read more

Was ok at first. Decent salsa bar. Friendly staff. Ordered to go..once we were home eating, my guy found bones in his burrito. My burrito had TWO Long hairs in it. So pretty much a turnoff... My parents chicken tacos were also bland. . read more

I love the burritos here. I told the lady that waits on me that if I lived close to here that I would be much heavier! Lol.

Only local Mexican restaurant with a drive thru window. Do not know if they have a delivery service?¿? Priced Right and easy authentic menu - (Mexican Food In-N-Out Menu) ~10 items on menu but sure they will modify and customized if asked. Great, Friendly and Efficient service - Hope they consider changing from styro-foam to enviro based serving plates & utensils like In-N-Out. read more

Their carne asada fries are delicious, packed with carne and tons of other ingredients. The service was pretty standard.

We are new to the area and wanted something close to home.. We had several options that were close, but this was the closest. Meat was clean and juicy with great flavor! Drive right up and had great customer service as well! We will be back! read more

Love their asada tacos! Our daughter had eaten here several times and said it was good, so we decided to give it a try. We weren't disappointed! We've gone several times since our first visit about 3 weeks ago, and we'll definitely be going back! read more

The place we usually frequent was closed early due to it being Sunday so I thought it was time to check out another Mexican place near my step-father' s house in Madera. I chose a little hole in the wall restaurant attached to a gas station and mini mart. It's one of those where you order and pick up at the counter just off the tiny kitchen and seating space is limited. I ordered three chicken enchiladas with green sauce, rice and beans for my step-father and the super nachos with pastor for me. The food was good but not exceptional. My worst complaints were that the enchiladas were cold and the sauce was skimpy. read more

All I ordered was a large fried for four dollars i'll wait in 18 minutes for small order of fries he gave my two dollars back but still they should have warned me that they did not have enough fries for a large order. Well I was waiting 10 minutes passed by I asked one of the employees what was taking so long for my fries they said that the oil was not warmed up. I would not be going there again read more

This place is great. Some of best tacos in town and super friendly staff. I come here all the time and I've never been disappointed.
