The lady working the counter was so warm, inviting, and patient, especially to my little boy who sometimes gets a bit shy. Same with the guy working the grill. I literally haven't written a Yelp review in over 10 years, but I felt like I had because of how special my quick stop at Colima's Street Tacos was. If I lived nearby, I'd eat here every week.

I was greeted and welcomed in right away and they even offered me samples of the different meats to choose from . I ended up getting the asada nachos and the presentation was great. I don't personally enjoy the round chips and if I'm being honest they were a little stale. I also forgot to say no jalapenos and that's on me but honestly they weren't even spicy, I would describe them more as sweet and sour so maybe they were pickled. There is a 3.5 % fee if you pay with a credit card but $16 after tax, tip and fees is still a really good price for a tasty lunch. I would definitely come back here to try more of their offerings and I recommend trying them if you're in the area.

We'll definitely be back if we're driving by at a mealtime.

The chips and salsa they served were really good! The salsa was especially really tasty with a little kick to it, but very nice flavor. I got a shrimp ceviche tostada and a wet burrito. The tostada was piled high! So much ceviche I expected it to be much smaller lol. Very delicious with the avocado slices on top and the selection of hot sauces they brought for the seafood was a nice touch and introduced me to a new hot sauce that is made for seafood! The wet burrito I ate less than half because I was so full from that tostada lol. But the wet burrito was also very tasty. It was a wet, super burrito so it had the sauce on top with sour cream, guac, and cheese on top. I chose the green salsa on top And it basically tasted like enchilada sauce- in a very good way. Just tons of flavor and I'm excited to finish the rest later lol. My grandpa got the tacos gobernador with asada and he really liked them although he could only finish two out of three. He also really liked the salsa that came with the chips. And my grandma had the huarache and she really enjoyed it and it was also too much for her lol. The servings are filling and the prices are definitely fair. Definitely recommend P.s. we also bought a tub of the salsa and bags of chips to take home they were so good!

Since I was last here, the built a little shack outside of their restaurant where you can purchase the grab-n-go burritos. The price is still the same $1 for the bean and cheese, and $5 for the others. This time around I went with 4 bean and cheese, and 2 chile verde burritos, total came out to $14. It all came with small containers of their salsa which is definitely a must. We didn't eat these until a couple of hours later, and they were still really good. My appetite has gotten smaller so 1 chile verde and 2 bean and cheese burritos were plenty. We had extra burritos which we ended up giving to our playing golf partners, and they loved them. Definitely will be back if I'm in the area because it's just too good of a deal to pass up!
