Pork + chow-main, steamed rice

Best Asian food I've ever had! Quality and so much food! Definitely 2-3 meals. Will definitely be back again. Customer service was amazing!

Grilled chicken, noodles, sticky rice, riblets, Asian style beef!!

The noodles were sweet with little to no bean stalk! I find that great because I really don't care for bean stalk texture. The red chimichuri sauce was fire a great touch to the sticky rice. The chicken and riblets were exceptionally delicious with the way they were prepared and cook them. The service was so fast by the time I called to place and order, get in my car and drive there about 7-10 min. Overall the truck is in a decent spot it offers a good amount of parking definitely convenient for all because it's pretty much in a neighborhood corner.

We stopped by this food truck on the way home from Yosemite and ordered the short ribs, chow mien, and grilled chicken. They gave us a spicy sauce (I think I tasted some Thai chilli in there?) which went really well with everything, especially the chicken. Service was excellent as well

Beef, pork riblets, and chow mein

In town for work and stopped by for some food. Very friendly staff and amazing food! Meat was tender and very flavorful. The homemade sauce was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Short riblets

Bad news. They got rid of the BEST item, the beef short ribs and replaced them with a flavorless beef teriyaki. It's just asada meat with maybe a splash of teriyaki. So bummed out. Why take off your best item and replace it with cheep meat? Hopefully they will bring back the good stuff. The service is great.

Don't even have to A.S.K., this place is good - no question about it. Was already in the area and found this place on Yelp! As many food trucks, this place does not have seating so it's a grab-and-go situation! Stopped by around 3:30pm on a Thursday and there was no wait! You can not beat the prices here! Pick a protein and a choice of side for TEN BUCKS and a really good portion size! We got the Asian Style Pork Riblets and Asian Style Beef Short Rib with half and half chow mein and fried rice. Everything was good! The meat was tender and flavorful. The chow mein noodles were THICK and had a peppery flavor. The fried rice was a great side and compliment to the meat. Between the two proteins, I think the riblets are the go-to! Aside from the food, what makes this place a 5-star for me is the service. The man taking our order was incredibly nice! He asked if it was our first time and as a warm welcome he gave us their pepper sauce on the house! Their pepper sauce is definitely a MUST! Great food for a great deal! If you're in Merced and have a hankering for Asian food, give this place a shot!

Beef spare ribs had a great flavor. Herbs were pronounced enough but would've liked more. The quality of the beef was good, too. I would criticize the process that the butchered spare rib received. I had a lot of bone fragments. At first it was negligible, but with the amount that I experienced by mid meal, I have to admit, marred the experience. The prep is just as important as the finishing touch. Either a cleaner cut from their butcher or a post butcher cleaning of fragments would've made a world of difference. Nonetheless, I have to say that their chili dip is spectacular. It's a Thai style with a hint of fish sauce. Don't be deterred, it does not take over the experience, just adds to it and for 50 cents is absolutely worth it. Oh, and it deserved sticky rice. So I got sticky rice. Which is SPLENDIFEROUS to "tut" (dip in Lao) into the chili sauce. The service was superb. Extraordinarily considerate and would hope to see these two younger staff serve me again in the future!

It's laughable how long I have waited to try Asian Style Kitchen. This food truck slaps! Asian Style Kitchen is located in the Bob's Auto Works parking lot, on East Main street in Merced. There's a small parking lot and plenty of street parking. They don't have any type of seating so plan accordingly. I stopped by around noon on a Friday and to my surprise, they weren't too busy. The service was so great! I mentioned it was my first time trying them out and they were helpful on picking out some of their best items, even offered for me to try their chili sauce on the house. It's clear they are so appreciative of their customers and want to offer a great experience overall. Food came out fairly quickly. If you in a rush, be sure to call in your order ahead of time. On to the goods: I love me some thick chow mien and these are thiCK! The noods were a perfect combination of peppery and sweet, but not overly sweet. The veggies in the chow mein were steamed but still had a nice crunch to them. The beef riblets are a no brainer, must try. So tender and flavorful. Everything is sold a la carte. You cannot beat these prices, the side of chow mien and ribs was under 10 bucks. I was uncomfortably full after because I couldn't stop eating it. My mouth is now watering and I'm already planning my next visit.

Hey there Asian Styles, So you are a nice option to check out There is not many Asian options out here to begin with so the more options the better. I just wish you weren't so out there in the corner of Merced. Having said that, your food is pretty good if people just go with the expectation that it's a food truck. It's not going to be fancy or nuanced, it's just simple solid food with smaller portions and luckily decent prices. The chow mein is surprising well done (chewy!) and the meats are pretty good. The ribs are my hands down my favorite. The Katsu.. I find a little too flat and sweet. The rest is somewhere in between tho lot of it just preferences. Keep up the good work! Fried rice Pork rib let Beef short ribs Pork chop - good portion. Chow mein - chewy, simple, good Katsu - different. Sweet

Chili sauce

The food is so good. The service is fast and they are so friendly. The chow mein is yummy, the fried rice and grilled chicken as well. The chili sauce is great also. Spicy and tasty just how it should be. The portions are pretty generous. We will continue to visit

Hey Taquiza! First…read moreyour service stood out. Man at register was upbeat, all smiles, eager to help and patient. Makes a big difference as it was my first time here. Had 3 Tacos- Birria, Carnitas and Pastor. They were all good and piping hot. Great job. And you did not skimp on meat and side veggies. That's a plus in my book. If I was to nitpick with constructive feedback is that the tacos tasted similar. Carnitas I expect more crunch, Pastor more saucy sweetness, Birria more of that kick. Don't get me wrong I still liked them, but maybe amp up the unique flavor more? Also I ordered birria tacos And didn't realize it was diff then the queso birria tacos. Obviously my fault, but maybe for newcomers or non natives.. provide clarity warning :) I'll be back soon

Tip for the people of the community..,,Order ahead of time to avoid that 15 plus people standing in line for this delicious tasty snack/ meal. Don't let the surroundings judge itself, for there is plenty to do around the area when you're waiting for your meal. Berners smoke shop across the way. Coffee shop next door. Smoke shop for your smoking material across the street. And if your up for it the car dealership is on the corner with the bank next to it to assist for all your needs. Pretty much this spot has it all in one area. Plenty of parking. Just be ready for a line if you didn't order ahead of time. And even if you didn't order ahead it's well worth the wait.

When I arrived, there was a group of people waiting around for their food. After ordering my food, I waited an HOUR. That is an hour standing on concrete in the sun, with no idea when I would finally get to eat. Everyone was getting frustrated waiting, but they continued to take new orders and didn't offer any explanation to anyone about what was taking so long. My entire family ordered food from other food trucks and finished eating before I ever got my food. When I FINALLY got my food, I was even more frustrated with what I was served. The tri-tip sandwich consisted of 4 slices of cold, dry, hardly seasoned tri-tip on 2 plain buns. And some potato salad that tasted like store-bought Reeser's. Not worth the money and definitely the hour long wait in the sun.

Maybe 2 meat or three meat plates would be nice , Chicken, hot links , tri tip , ect with a side and bag of chips or soda ect . Looking forward to seeing this BBQ truck grow overtime.
