Jeff's Cuisine is one of my favorite places to eat in Atwater. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and delicious. You can tell that care goes into preparing each meal, and the quality is consistently excellent. One thing I really appreciate is that they are accommodating with their portions. If there's an item you don't want on your plate, they are happy to give you more of the foods you do enjoy, which makes the meal feel personalized and customer focused. The portions are generous, and I always leave feeling satisfied. The staff are incredibly polite, kind, and welcoming. They make you feel appreciated as a customer, and their warm attitude adds so much to the overall experience. Although many customers seem to order takeout, dining in is a wonderful experience. My relatives always order from Jeff's when they need catering. Always. And I'm never disappointed. Don't miss the large chunks of beef with carrots swimming in a nice tomato sauce, aka mechado. Desserts are pretty good too, so don't just stop at main dishes. Kare kare is one of my favorites, and although I was disappointed that they don't use oxtail, but for the price, brisket will have to do. Gotta give it a try and support small businesses. read more

I only discovered this restaurant last week and now I have gotten their food twice. The first time I had the barbecue pork, which was great. This time I had barbecue chicken, which is also great. Instead of having the rice and pancit, I asked for just the pancit, and they fixed me up a special plate. The chicken is wonderful. Cooked just right, not dry but nice and juicy but very flavorful. The pancit is just as good today as it was the first time I tried it. (I will definitely keep coming back for that.) lumia is very flavorful. Cooked just right. Crunchy on the outside savory on the inside. I love the vegetables. Portion is definitely big enough for two servings so I've got myself lunch and dinner here... The people there are very friendly. I was welcomed in with the big smile. Definitely will be back to try everything on their menu... One trip at a time. Place is really cute. Sorry, still no pictures of the food. Ahhh, Jeff's! Located in a shopping center just a bit off of Highway 99, (worth the mile or so drive from the freeway), Filipino food is what it's all about. Family owned and operated, the prices are great, and the portions are large. Authentic pansit, rice, lumpia, (Filipino egg rolls), chicken, pork, and more. Jeff and his family are great! They make you feel right at home, and I noticed that most of the customers coming in were obviously local regulars. That tells you something about a place. Not fancy decor, but everything was very clean, and the food was excellent! I had pork adobo, big chunks of slow cooked pork, with pansit. Kat ordered just pansit, not knowing that it came with most of the other dishes. She wasn't at all disappointed, though, as the pansit is excellent! If you like Filipino food, or if you haven't tried it, and want to see what it's about, give Jeff and his family a try. You won't regret it. read more

I travel 2000 miles back and forth to a small town in the Midwest. Since I have no food in the fridge, the first thing I think of when I get back to Atwater, is a BBQ Pork and Chicken dinner with fried rice, pancit and lumpia's from Jeff's Cuisine. Don't get me wrong, the locally grown and bred Midwest food is very good..... but you can't get Filipino food unless you drive 3-4 hours. Jeff's Cuisine has excellent food, is reasonably priced and always excellent customer service that aims to please. It's an Atwater treasure. read more

If you are looking for a quick, affordable, and filling Filipino meal, Jeff's Cuisine is where it's at. We recently visited because I needed to introduce my partner to Filipino cuisine. When you walk in, you are immediately greeted, and welcomed by the staff, who were so sweet and nice. I was staring at the menu, and it was wild to me that the meal prices are $9.99! Each meal comes with your choice protein, rice, pancit noodles, and 5-pieces of lumpia. It's a crazy good deal. For our proteins we got the pork bbq and pork adobo. The food boxes were HEAVY! packed with so much food, we literally could've shared one box between us. My favorite between the two was the pork bbq. Very good flavor and with the extra bbq sauce was tasty. The adobo was little underwhelming for me. I really think it needed more sauce. The meat itself was good, and tender, but the lack of sauce and the thickness of sauce is where there's room from improvement. As someone who's eaten pork adobo my whole life, I think i'm just a little pickier, but those are my two cents. I'd definitely would get the pork bbq again though. For the pancit, I do wish they didn't cut the noodles so short, but it had good flavor when I added a little extra lemon squeeze. I preferred the white rice over the fried. I think if they just did a garlic rice without the peas and carrots, I'd enjoy it more. I know the 209 doesn't have a ton of filipino food options, but if this was your introduction to the cuisine, they do it well and at an affordable cost. The service is 10/10 and definitely would be on the rotation if I lived in the area. read more

GREAT food, made fresh to order, super delicious. My fiance and I tried Jeff's for the first time a week ago and we will definitely be back. We ordered one of everything on the menu to try (big family lol) and it was all SO good! The pansit was delicious, the lumpia was hot and crispy, the chicken and pork were all cooked perfectly! We didn't have to wait long at all and everyone working there was super nice and smiling. The restaurant is so cozy and you don't feel rushed, we will definitely be back! I give this a 3.5 really based on bang for buck and food quality. Popped in with my daughter. It's walk up to register, order, sit down, wait for food. Food comes in to go packaging. Prices are good food is good. The bbq chicken was cooked perfectly nice and moist. Rice was good. Veggies were cabbage and green beans and rice noodles. The katsu chicken was a little overcooked. The lumpitas (lil eggrolls) were ok but a little overcooked meat inside was good. I'd definitely go back and eat again. Definitely worth a try. read more

Jeff. Where have you been all this time? Why have you not called me over. What is this ridiculously good, nicely priced lunch. I would have visited you much earlier if I knew you were there. I blame my friends and others who never told me of you. Food is good. Quantity is good. That bbq pork.. amazing... even heated up few days later. Lumpia on point, but I mean lumpia is lumpia. Pancit.. not my cup of tea, but that's just a preference thing. I know ppl who like Pancit say they enjoyed it. Fried rice. No frills simple fried rice. Not a big fan of plopping the eggs on top.. just feels like you are skimping on the eggs when presented that way. Bbq chicken was good. Honey chicken was confusing at first bc I though there would be a sauce over it but I think the flavor is baked in. Perfectly fine but maybe best to let people know so they don't get confused. :) Only other thing is that your catering pricing seems at odds with your ordinary entree pricing. Think I would get much more food ordering a ton of entrees vs catering for the same $. The servings estimate was widely underrepresented. That half tray can feed waaaaay more than you were estimating so we had a ridiculous amount of food leftover. So maybe need to test it and adjust the estimated number of servings. All in all tho the bbq pork lunch is the biggest winner. Will be out for more soon. read more

Quick, inexpensive, large portions, hospitable, clean. Great place. Jeff is very personable and quick witted. As soon as I walked in the restaurant, I knew the food was going to be good. I ordered the suggested BBQ Pork Plate and it did not disappoint. A pile of delicious pork over fried rice, vegetables and thin noodles. Also, you get 5 Lumpia (like an egg roll) with sweet and sour sauce. I couldn't believe all of that food for only $8 and it was delicious! My son got the Chicken Adobo plate $8 and was extremely impressed. I also picked up a plate of spaghetti for later $7. You can't go wrong with Jeff's Cuisine. read more

Was not able to go in so I called and had it delivered first time eating their food. Delicious and they're pretty quick about getting it to you. What More Can I Say about this place that hasn't already been said by most of the other reviews. The food is always good big portions delicious barbecue chicken or pork. It's just good all around if I had to get one critique maybe a little bit more seasoning on the noodles, but that's just really nitpicking because I still tore it up. The service immaculate. Jeff's Cuisine has been on my. Bucket list for a long time now since moving to the Central CA Valley. One Thursday morning, my boyfriend and I decided to go here to buy lunch, and we've been hooked. We got their pork bbq meal and chicken BBQ meal. Both reminded me of home (the Philippines). I like that it comes with 5 lumpia (pork egg rolls), a choice of rice and/or rice, and a good amount of meat. It is definitely worth the price.
