Small takeout Chinese place. The kind that has been a staple in most areas for decades. Pretty unassuming exterior, almost have to know it is there. Walking in, the smell of freshly made Chinese food was so good, if I hadn't been hungry when I walked in, I would have been afterward. Ordered a 2 item plate with fried rice, bbq pork and chicken with a side of veggie egg rolls. The owners are super polite and were very happy to have my business. Reminded me a lot of a Chinese place I grew up with down the road from us. The bbq pork was very good, chicken yummy and the fried rice was completely gone (a rarity for me tbh, I make my own normally) the egg rolls were really good as well. It cost me under 13 dollars for a lunch that has me feeling so full I may not need to have dinner. Will definitely be back to try the other menu items. read more

Still amazing! Today's menu was orange chicken and bbq pork. All of the food that was hot and ready looked so fresh. The teriyaki chicken was a contender too, but i hadn't tried the orange chicken yet. The owner gave me a couple chunks of the teriyaki chicken to try for next time. Service is EXCELLENT, both the owner and the lady that works with her are so pleasant and always smiling. And this 2 entree plate is only $8. You cannot get this quality and quanity anywhere else. A hidden gem in the center of Patterson. The food is authentic and delicious. You also get a good amount of food for the amount you are paying. Tastes like a home cooked meal by a family owned business. Check their hours and call in advance to make sure they are open. Since the business is so small, there looks to be only a handful of people working at a time. There is a bench to sit and wait for your food to be prepared but otherwise there is no sitting area to eat. You can pick up your food and eat at home. Fast service as well since all the food is prepared and they just put it in your takeout box. read more

Called an order in. 25 min. wait which was reasonable. Ordered 7 items. Cream cheese wontons, BBQ pork fried rice, chicken chow mein, broccoli beef, Mongolian beef, orange chicken, and garlic broccoli. I believe I showed up at around 20-25 mins since I placed the order. Upon arriving my food was ready. The place seems very clean inside, steam table as you walk in. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. The fried rice seemed to be made with fresh rice which imo doesn't absorb the flavors of the wok because it is so fresh and sticky vs day old rice. Huge chunks of pork though which was a delight to have in almost every bite of rice. The garlic broccoli was good, though I was expecting a more tender broccoli like in the broccoli beef entree, and was expecting a garlic sauce of some sort. Still delicious but I just had different expectations. LOL. As far as the value, unbeatable. I've ordered less at other places in town, and paid $20+ more. Not to mention Li Xu's is way better quality food. Doesn't seem to have a dine in option though. read more

Let just start with the food I had was the best Chinese food I've had in my 54 years!! I was personally dealing with the owner‍. I was worried that the Mongolian Beef would be too spicy so I asked her. She told me that she makes it both spicy and not spicy. So I asked for the non-spicy. It was sooo amazing!! The owner was so genuinely sweet. We chatted for a little bit while I was there picking up food. I look forward to the next time I do business there. read more

I was greeted when I came in for lunch at 2pm and was told I was the first customer of the day. Not a good sign. there is no place to sit and eat. Only take out. I asked for hot and sour soup and the only size was 36 ounces. Too much for me. I ordered Kung Pao chicken but the server. Insisted on giving me a sampler serving of noodles rice and a heaping amount of Kung Pao. Very gent but unfortunately not very good. I ate some but I wouldn't go back.
