Called an order in. 25 min. wait which was reasonable. Ordered 7 items. Cream cheese wontons, BBQ pork fried rice, chicken chow mein, broccoli beef, Mongolian beef, orange chicken, and garlic broccoli. I believe I showed up at around 20-25 mins since I placed the order. Upon arriving my food was ready. The place seems very clean inside, steam table as you walk in. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. The fried rice seemed to be made with fresh rice which imo doesn't absorb the flavors of the wok because it is so fresh and sticky vs day old rice. Huge chunks of pork though which was a delight to have in almost every bite of rice. The garlic broccoli was good, though I was expecting a more tender broccoli like in the broccoli beef entree, and was expecting a garlic sauce of some sort. Still delicious but I just had different expectations. LOL. As far as the value, unbeatable. I've ordered less at other places in town, and paid $20+ more. Not to mention Li Xu's is way better quality food. Doesn't seem to have a dine in option though.

The restaurant itself feels like an establishment that has seen a few restaurants come and go. It's not extremely well lit or heated, not sure about the hot summer months. It's a mom and pop, not a chain restaurant. It's also not easily identifiable as a Chinese restaurant except for the sign above the door. We were looking for a place to meet up while on the road and this was it. The owner is very nice, it's a family run place, they work hard. I get the feeling that they need more business, I did see a lot of togo orders float out the door, but our party was the only sit down party while we were there. The food was good. There were 8 of us, so I ordered 3 appetizers for us to snack on while we waited for the rest of our food. We had the egg rolls, wontons and the pot stickers. Nothing lasted long, before we knew it, the food was on the table. I know I'm a spoiled San Francisco self proclaimed foodie/yelp critic, so take my review whatever way you want to based on that admission. I'll just say that based on where this place is located it's good enough and I can't be really picky. I'll also probably never be back, purely based on location. Nothing would stop me from returning. If for no other reason, to support a hard working restaurant owner. The food was good enough, not to be compared with high end San Francisco or Bay area fancy chinese food. That would be unfair. I had some general chicken, it was sticky and had a slight spice. One person in our party had War Wonton soup and thought it to be on the sweet side. The menu has a wide range of dishes, I'm sure if you're a local you must have a favorite dish, if I lived near this place I would try a bunch of different dishes. In the end we all left in a good mood.

I called to let them know about it and they said exact words "what do you want me to do about it" in a rude way and when I said I would like a refund, the daughter of this place hung up the phone one me! I would definitely not recommend this place and if you do order out MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE EATING IT

What I don't like is their garlic chicken, should be called, spicy garlic, chicken skin! There is rarely any pieces of chicken when I order this. I rarely order it because it has no chicken. I don't know why they call it garlic chicken. It's a deep fried chicken, skin and fat. Somebody should talk to the owner about this and start adding chicken to this dish. I like everything else at the restaurant the atmosphere and the cleanliness. But sometimes trying to go cheap on a chicken plate by not putting the chicken doesn't make any sense to me. I would recommend a lot of dishes, except anything with garlic chicken in it.

But we decided to dine in this time. We got the seafood sizzling rice soup, pineapple fried rice, chicken chow fun, honey glazed prawns, and the bbq pork buns. This soup is just all around satisfying. The sizzling sound just entices you to get a bowlful. The broth is clean and savory while the sizzling rice adds nuttiness. There's a few pieces of shrimp and veggies that round out the flavors. Honestly, I could just have the broth and the rice and would be totally satiated. The honey prawns are a crowd favorite. They're creamy, crispy, and sweet. The pineapple fried rice is also a favorite with its sweet and savory notes. The chicken chow fun had deep umami flavor from the soy sauce. The noodles were chewy and the chicken was surprisingly moist despite how thin it was sliced. The steamed bbq pork buns were okay. The bun was yummy with a nice fluffy texture. But the bbq pork lacked the sweet smoky flavor I expect. Tracy does not have a lot of dim sum options, but I would skip this even if I was craving it. Service was really friendly and we got our food fast. The vibes are pretty casual - just a typical mom-and-pop Chinese restaurant. It's a pretty large space, though, so you can definitely bring a large group. But overall, the dishes here at Mei Mei are really good. We dined in and it seemed there was a customer every 10 minutes picking up their order.
