Fresh Fork - We had the Fork'n Plate - Salmon - Fast Food Near Me - Ceres, California

Very disappointed with the veggies this time. My mom and I had the salmon plate with no broccoli. The carrots and cabbage are usually really yummy but this time they were still crunchy. Almost raw. The salmon was still its yummy self although the teriyaki was a it ginger forward we still enjoyed it. Money is tight so we won't be back for a while. Especially if the food is sub par. read more

What a great spot with awesome service. The food is a rare heathy option in our area, and the quality is consistent. Customer service is friendly and the food is good. Recommended. read more

I love the Salmon here and the sauce. The staff is also great. My only issue is the prices. Besides that, its really great

Very nice and simple food, you choose a size, Little, Small, Big (I think) Bowls it Large Plate. The Little are more for kids, I think but it's great that adults with smaller appetites can get them too. Choose a great protein, 2 of us had Angus steak and one chicken, all ordered mixed vegetables and the kids opted to have the sauce on the side. Oh, you have a choice of white or brown rice I opted for a large plate, came with a refreshing salad, brown rice, veggies, steak and an avocado with the sauce, which is a soy sauce with a ponzu like taste and some chilies. If you don't order or add the sauce the dishes can be bland. You might want to ask if they a mild option. Food was light on flavor, salad was refreshing and I pulled it onto the entree. The steak was overcooked and no char flavor. There was a grapefruit wedge in mine. Service was great, the guy was patient and helpful. read more

Fresh Fork - a plate of chicken, broccoli, and rice - Fast Food Near Me - Ceres, California

Simply put, it's underhyped and far too underrated. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is great and even has a vegetarian options of tofu as well which does taste delicious but I prefer the beef and rice with veggies, drizzling the teriyaki sauce on top along with the some Siracha that's provided pairs so well prime Barcelona and Real Madrid can't be up to the standard of how well it goes together. The freshness, flavor, aromatics are on another level compared to anything I've ever had. The time it took to whip up this delicious bowl was less than 10 min. This place hits the spot after the gym and will after a long day of work. The vibe of the restaurant is so chill, friendly, I got to start up conversations with others purely based on how much we bonded over how great the food from fresh fork is. read more

Same as a lot of revised reviews. I used to love fresh fork but it has changed..... a lot. The sauce has a different flavor now like they wanted it to be spicier but it just wasn't the same. The meat quality has def gone down hill the steak is chewy and the chicken was tough. Please don't make these cuts to your business, I have tried two more times to see if it was a fluke but quality isn't there. For two people it's $30 and what I got this last time makes me never want to go back. I heard the business sold and maybe the new owners are trying to up profits......but not like this. read more

I use to love coming to this place but noticed the quality of food going down.. I gave it another try today. The beef is soo chewy, with huge chunks of fat. Disappointed because I much rather support local business than chain restaurants. read more

I've heard of this place but I never actually knew where it was located up until I drove past it one day! Walking in it's small, the menu is very easy and straightforward I'm just so happy that it's healthy!! I get so tired of eating the normal fast food. And this is a great place. As they cook it fresh for you and the forkin sacue is sooooo good!! I had gotten the plate which I thought was a pretty large portion. Will definitely be getting the bowl from Now on and the chicken was cooked well!! The veggies are bland but just put the sauce over and it's delicious My new fav spot. read more

These photos are from separate visits because I just realized...how have I not rated this place yet?! I must have eaten here at least seven or eight times now and it only opened at the end of January/beginning of February this year (2020). It is SO GOOD. I work in Modesto, near Empire, so ideally we order online and try to leave the office by 11:30 to avoid the traffic on Mitchell (and in the store) because (surprise!) we are not the only fans of this joint. The order ahead feature is great, you can also really easily sign up for their point system, although I will say even after a few hundred dollar office lunches only got me one bowl so it takes a bit to rack up. But hey, we keep coming back so it works. My favorite protein is the spicy chicken patty my ONLY request would be to get this in the tinier bowl because I like adding the avo and the egg and I do the 1/2 rice and I am still way too stuffed. But eh patty only comes in the Fork'n bowl size...and I know what you're saying, save it for later. But guys it is a) too tasty and b) half is not enough so you see my conundrum. Please offer the spicy patty in the baby bowl. You've heard my plea. Thank you!! Go check them out, the staff is super friendly, the space is a little small but I think they're doing a great job knocking it out of the park read more

Very good food. It seemed just like Waba grill in SoCal so I was a little surprised by the prices then I realized Grub hub is charging $16 for a half and half bowl when it's $8 in person. (I'm still not clear on if the restaurant gets that money or if it's the markup package they get charged from Grubhub then there's all the other service fees...There's a few restaurants in town that seem astronomically high to order online from...this is definitely one of them.) I liked that jalapeños were offered and brown rice. I didn't like that the only online ordering options for sauce were on it or on the side (in the tiniest container) and then .25 extra for sauce. Next time I would definitely go for at least 2 extras (and order in person!) But you better believe I forked over the extra $2 for half an avocado. It also would be nice to have the sauce have a hot option (not just sriracha) and cabbage as a steamed veggie option. read more

Just a quick review. I started calling to place my order at 2:44pm on Saturday, July 10th. I was listening to their hold music until 2:51pm. I then got in my vehicle and drove there. I pulled up in front and see the OPEN sign still on. I hung my phone up and walked in. All the chairs were on the tables and there were 2 employees inside. One was mopping the floor and the other just standing. The onr mopping stopped and said they were closed and I pointed out it wasn't 3pm yet and informed them that I had been on the phone for almost 15 minutes. And the girl that was just standing there said the phone didn't ring. At that point I turned to leave and said i would call the owner next week. If I could give them a big ZERO I would. read more

My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat on our way to SF. The location is confidently located off the 99. The environment was well kept and clean, including the bathroom. The employees were nice and quick to greet us upon walking into the establishment. The prices were fair. I ordered the chicken teriyaki plate (largest portion, comes with a side salad) and chose white rice. My husband ordered the half and half (half chicken and half beef) plate with white rice. My plate was $12.99 and his was $14.99. The food was served steaming hot and fresh, the vegetables were also fresh (just boiled, no seasoning) and the side salad was tossed in a sesame dressing? With tangerines on top. A star was docked, because we prefer an old fashioned thick teriyaki sauce as opposed to a thin teriyaki sauce. Overall, it was a great stop and would consider coming back if we were looking to stop in Ceres again. read more

Ate here for our first time today! Delicious food! Very fresh, light, but full of flavor. I had the steak & brown rice, and the steak was perfectly cooked, lean, tender, and tasty! My wife had the chicken, and it was also wonderful. All too often, when we get this style of chicken/rice bowl, they're gristly and full of fat. Not here, it was all great meat! Love the sauce too! Just a hint of spice, but not too much for a tender mouth. Not a ton of options, but they're just right. read more

I love Fresh Fork! I am so glad its close to home! The broccoli and salmon plate is so on point! I usually exclude the rice and rather have more broccoli. Add avocado.....hmmmmmm, delicious! I'd noticed this new restaurant appearing in the Yelp app with many reviews being written so I thought we'd stop in for lunch. The menu is short and to the point. I like this. Proteins are Tofu, Chicken and Beef, Angus is advertised and is extra as in a charge. Nothing is fried. It's more of a healthful spin on dining. Carbs are rice. Then the vegetables which were super fresh and consisted of cabbage, carrot and broccoli all cooked perfectly. They grill the meat right there in front of you so you know how it's being prepared. I appreciated this. We went with the small bowls. Chicken with extra veggies at no additional fee. Appreciated this however a note: We left the carbby rice out of our order so that was a great substitute. The Fork sauce is good salty and sweet so went light on that and ordered it on the side. Ample portions including the avocado at $1.50 extra for a nice sized half of one. Nice and ripe yet not overly so. Made the dish. It was a steal for the price. Refreshments consist of a fountain soda machine located to the side of the kitchen and order counter by the condiment counter where a large bottle of hot sauce can be found. I went for it and it was super spicy and added to the dish. They gave us biodegradable straws for our sodas. Loved this. Enough plastic already so great form on the straws. They sell a small and a large drink. The large is 22 ounces so it's actually more like a medium when comparing with say a 32 ounce one may find when eating out at a fast food establishment. However we had a refill while dining and I didn't see any signs saying you could not refill so we did. $1.95 for the large soda. It's a self-service set up. Tables could have been a tad cleaner but in all fairness it was clear to see that they were swamped and trying to keep up with the influx of customers. Out the door just under $18 for two small bowls and two sodas. The bowls actually are more like a medium and were well filled. Friendliness was found here as well by a tall woman who assisted us with ordering. read more

I heard about this place through a friend and it's right down the street from my house! I'm always on the go between work and master classes and either skip meals or eat something bad... this place lets me eat on the go guilty free! I had a bowl with rice, chicken, veggies, and their fork sauce it was soooo tasty! Highly recommend. Tip: ask for light sauce or just get it on the side because my rice was drowned with the sauce at the bottom of the bowl. read more

2 star review. I used to really enjoy this place and as of recently like a few months back I didn't enjoy eating here. My husband bought me food from there today and it was not so good. The rice and the veggies are decent you know not so bad. The chicken does not taste good it tasted a bit squishy. The shrimp kabobs did not taste good at all, they were super undercooked... I'm not sure what' happened to the cook they used to have or if they even have a new cook but it's just not the same anymore. read more
