We've enjoyed the food, drinks, and even had the pleasure of speaking with the owner on multiple occasions. The service was always welcoming, and the food was consistently phenomenal. Because of those great experiences, we decided to bring some friends on a Saturday night. We arrived around 7:30 PM, and the atmosphere looked promising. There appeared to be a DJ setting up, and the crowd seemed excited for a night of music, food, and drinks. Unfortunately, our experience that evening was completely different from what we had come to expect. We ordered food and drinks, and while our server wasn't outright rude, he seemed uninterested in providing the level of service we had previously received. As the night went on, things became increasingly odd. Shortly after ordering another round of drinks, while our drinks were still full and we had just received them, the server approached our table and asked if we were finished. My boyfriend jokingly responded, "No, let me talk to your manager," and laughed, assuming the server was joking as well. The server responded, "Yeah, it's my brother," but with an attitude that left everyone at our table looking at each other wondering what had just happened. He then informed us that we needed to put a credit card on file. At that point, we had already been there for over an hour, and it seemed strange that this requirement was only being brought up then. We also noticed that no other tables around us were being asked for a card. The most disappointing part came when we received the bill. There was an additional $60 service charge added--$35 on my friends' bill and $25 on ours. Confused, we asked for an explanation. The explanations we received kept changing. First, we were told it was because my boyfriend was sitting with another group, which was completely false. Then we were told it was because the bill exceeded $100. After that, we were told it was because there were more than six people in our party, despite there only being four of us. The inconsistent explanations were frustrating and made it feel as though the staff were simply making up reasons to justify the charge. Our issue wasn't necessarily with a service fee itself--it was the lack of disclosure and the conflicting stories we were given when we asked about it. To make matters worse, the receipt also included a separate line for an additional tip. After discussing it with them and explaining that additional charges should be clearly communicated to customers, the service charge was ultimately removed. This review is not a reflection of the food, which remains excellent, nor of our previous experiences at Standard Pub. It is solely based on the service and handling of the situation during our Saturday night visit. We left feeling disappointed and confused, especially because this establishment had earned our trust through many positive visits in the past. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident and that management addresses these issues so other customers don't have a similar experience

We were sat immediately in the intimate, candle lit dining room. There are only a few tables in the side dining room which makes the experience feel more exclusive from the bustling bar area. The table spread felt very upscale and chic - with simple white linens and a small tealight candle. At this time, it was surprisingly empty in the dining room. I believe only one or two tables were occupied. It was quiet and very peaceful. The server came quickly to take our drink order. We ordered two Ranch Waters, which came out quickly also. They were quite strong to say the least and very affordable! For our entree, we split the Pan Seared Pistachio Salmon. There is a $5 fee to split the plate which is slightly annoying but understandable. The food was absolutely incredible. The salmon had a lovely crust and was super soft. The couscous and carrots were very flavorful. They were perfectly seasoned and garlicky. Despite being split, the portion was perfect. The salmon filet was quite large and filling. When we made the reservation online, we noted that we were celebrating a birthday. Towards the conclusion of our meal, we were pleasantly surprised with three dessert options, of which my friend selected some sort of chocolate pie or cake. It was also incredible. The crust was crunchy and the chocolate was decadent. It did not feel heavy to eat at all. What really made our night, however, was the card they brought for the birthday girl. The iced tea was clearly freshly brewed and quite strong, which I actually prefer because I can adjust it to taste. It came in a generously sized glass as well. Lucille is a small place, but they've made very good use of the space. The interior is attractive and has a slightly modern, new-age feel. There was a steady stream of people dining in and picking up orders, and it wouldn't take many more customers to fill the place. I also noticed a nice wine selection and an espresso machine. Thin beef slices that is brown in appearance with a nice glaze. It comes with tons of green onions, chili peppers and onions and topped with crispy rice noodles. Theres a nice "hot" as in flavor taste to it but not strong. It's my favorite and I feel this beats Panda Express any day. 5 stars The place probably is busier during lunch being downtown so when i picked up my order, it was close to 5 pm and wasn't that busy. Thing that I notice is their menu on the wall says $12.50 for my #26 Mongolian beef combo and when I ordered 2, the guy just used his memory to punch in $28.85 on my credit card. So sales tax is 8.88% now and when I did the calculation, it should have been less. Not sure whether they didn't update their wall menu price. But that kind of irked me since I know some places charge an added fee for using a cc (which they have no disclosure). Either way, don't rely on their wall prices if you order there in person. After a few bites I added Tabasco and Cholula, and it took an already great sandwich to another level. The homemade chicken soup was flavorful and comforting, and a cold Corona with salt and lime rounded everything out perfectly. One thing I really appreciate about Harvest Moon is the atmosphere. It is peaceful--almost tranquil. You hear conversations around the room, but they are the kind of quiet chatter that makes a place feel alive without ever feeling loud. It is comfortable, unhurried, and the kind of environment where you can simply enjoy your meal and be present. A special thank you to Johnny in the kitchen for putting together such a great meal.
